Vrag

The Second Seal, broken.
dark_army_by_chevsy-d4pme3c.jpg

Name: Parkeljni (or the Twelve)
Intent: To create an elite squad of 'decoys' to further the Sith warmachine on the battlefield through coordination, command, and intimidation.
Affiliation: Vrag
Availability: Unique
Quality: Elite
Type: Infantry
Strength: 12
Description:
Drawn from the different contingents of the Sith warmachine, the Twelve are, simply put, the best of the best of the best.

Hunters and Slayers, picked out from the most skilled and dedicated of their kind among the Legion Yun’Dohttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/56986-legion-yundo/, were specifically trained — though covertly so — by the Hand herself, fighting alongside her in many an undertaking so as to forge a bond amongst themselves; the sort of bond that only those who have bled together could possibly hope to share, let alone understand.

P-7 to P-9 are the Slayer designations, and Vrag usually brings at least one of them into combat with her, for they are arguably the most versatile and unpredictable of the lot. They are a near-perfect merger between the skillset a Force sensitive or a Hunter can bring to the table, offering a deadly combination of abilities and talents that the Hand makes use of without qualm.

P-7 (Marduk Shai) & P-8 (Zer-banitu Shai);
The timeless adage ‘the couple that slays together, stays together’ certainly applies here, and the two work beautifully when deployed at the same time. Out of the whole squad, P-7 and P-8 have the best working relationship, and consequentially provide the best results on missions requiring two operatives. They are as cruel and ruthless as the next Slayer, but what sets them apart is their unique creativity when it comes to approach. Marduk and Zer-banitu never employ the same method twice, and where they strike, naught but fire and ruins are left in their wake.

P-9 (Kur-gal Kwaad);
Also known as ‘The Dragon’, for the peculiar design of his Yuuzhan Vong tattoos. This Slayer carries himself with pride and strength, unapologetic and undeterred on his chosen path. Though perhaps the most reckless of the Twelve, Kur-gal brandishes his Hydrastaff and Skerr Kraetos with unparalleled aplomb, capable of shredding enemy lines as if they were paper, and for each wound inflicted, the man returns it tenfold.

P-10 to P-12 are Hunter designations, and they are called upon relatively often when the battle ahead requires their particular talents. As the pinnacle of the Yuuzhan Vong Warrior caste, the Hunters know how to handle themselves in virtually any combat situation. They work best alone, employing deception and diversion to get the job done more often than direct, head-on conflict; if all goes according to plan, the enemy never even knows they were there.

P-10 (Atra-hasis Val);
This particular Hunter is a true master of tracking and blending in with one's environment. Be she surrounded by infidel machines or crawling on her belly through jungle underbrush, Atra-hasis is always in her element. Trading one skin for the next is second nature to the Hunter, and she adapts with quickness and ingenuity to whatever the terrain and twists of fate might throw her way.

P-11 (Og’riq Shai);
Like a true incarnate of everything domain Shai stands for, Og’riq is on another level completely when it comes to pain and endurance thereof. Perhaps as a freak of nature, perhaps through sheer conditioning and decades upon decades of rigorous training, but P-11 is undoubtedly one of the most unstoppable forces when it comes to battle and its many dangers. It seems almost like nothing short of a clean decapitation would stop this Hunter, but unfortunately for the enemy, he has a nasty habit of moving far too fast to make that easy for them.

P-12 (Tavakkal Jamaane);
While all Warriors are proficient in the use of Nang Hul and all its sister species, Tavakkal takes that beyond mere skill and turns it into an art. The accuracy, speed, and sheer prowess with which P-12 manipulates the bugs are nothing short of astounding, even amongst his peers — though he could easily be said to be peerless when it comes to this particular field of expertise — and it is, naturally, something that he employs deftly in combat. Whatever the situation requires, Tavakkal has the bug for it, and he knows how to use it.

P-1 to P-6 are the Force sensitive designations, and the ones whose role in the squad is the most defined of all. They were the initial basis around which the the Twelve were formed, and also those who received the most training from the Hand. Due to the nature of the Parkeljni, Vrag had taken it upon herself to pick the most promising individuals out of the many Acolytes who owe their allegiance to the Dark Lord and the One Sith, and start grooming them for the role she had in mind for them from a relatively young age. While this perhaps deprives them of the breadth of training they would have partaken in had they been allowed to continue on their own, they are all the more proficient when it comes to the particular skills the firrerreo had sought to instill in them since day one. They are the ones whose purpose is to deceive the enemy and obscure the true location and identity of the Hand on and off the battlefield, which is why they were so carefully chosen based on both talent and character, then molded into what Vrag required them to be.

P-1 (Lena Sarl; Darth Myro);
Now a distinguished fighter in her own right, P-1 had gone toe-to-toe twice with Vrag's former apprentice, Hal Terrano, which is when she was first noticed by the Hand. From then on, Lena had trained rigorously to prove to the Sith Lord that her trust and attention had not been misplaced. Abusing that need, Vrag had made sure through plentiful manipulation that the iridonian's loyalties remained to the Hand first and to everyone else second.

P-2 (Kisius Rymeni; Darth Dorre);
As if treading the earth clad in Vonduun weren't enough protection from mental attacks on its own, P-2 is also an epicanthix, and a gifted one at that. As a testament to his roots in a proud warrior culture, Kisius fights like a beast possessed, unrelenting whether he's pressing an assault or leading a retreat. He wields the saber with far greater proficiency than the Force, but dismissing that aspect of his combat skillset entirely would be a grave error.

P-3 (Nanto Lotusca; Darth Monnet);
In true arkanian fashion, Nanto was genetically engineered to be as close to perfection as possible before he was even born, and his family continued raising him with the same mindset throughout his childhood years. It was perhaps this pressure that finally broke the man and drove him to join the ranks of the One Sith, but Vrag has never bothered to stop and ask; P-3 is a man of decisive action, unafraid to experiment even in the thick of battle. With a sharp mind and even sharper a blade, the arkanian deals damage left and right with precision and control reminiscent of the Hand herself.

P-4 (Ramust Ashe; Darth Kahlor);
This fighter is a pinnacle of echani skill in single combat, capable of employing nearly every weapon — and even objects one would never consider to be weapons — in order to achieve her goal. Whether that is defeating her opponent, holding the line, or taking a particular point of interest and defending it with every ounce of her strength, P-4 can and will do it. Ramust often works closely with Vrag when her usual battle partners are absent or otherwise engaged, and the two are extremely efficient when fighting in tandem.

P-5 (Sytari Naaht; Darth Vanogh);
This particular member of the Parkeljni is perhaps the oddest of the bunch, but it stems from an innate fact that gives him an edge over the rest of humanoids that comprise the squad. The zelosian, due to his unique physiology, serves as the team’s greatest tank, surpassed only by P-11 in sheer endurance. The man can fight for hours on end without a visible impact on his proficiency, and through forming a nigh-impenetrable defense, P-5 can last as long as it takes to fell the last adversary.

P-6 (Emac Yjatte; Darth Shyle);
The last Force-wielding member of the Twelve is the easiest to miss purely because of her thin physique and a natural inclination towards hanging back, but one should never assume that that somehow translates proportionally into the amount of damage the zeltron is capable of dishing out. P-6 operates on a more intangible level than the rest of his peers, rarely engaging in full-out combat, but rather influencing his opponents through the aid of the Force and his own inborn abilities as a zeltron. If pressed, the ambidextrous duelist will still brandish his twin sabers and show an adversary what for, but his true role in battle lies in support of the friend and attrition of the foe.

All in all a very good submission,

I need a few things clearing up though :

    Strength: 12 (13, if 12 + Vrag)
    - As far as I'm concerned your presence wouldn't add to the unit, they enhance you not the otherway round. This not something you need to change but it suggests your on par with them not above them.
  2. All the force sensitives need a clearly stated force rank (Ie. Knight etc.)

    the Legion Yun’Do,
    - two points here, first I just need to make sure you have permission to use that, I'm sure you do. second slayers aren't mentioned as being part of the legion so where did they come from?

I believe thats everything

Thanks,
Callum

  1. Legion Yun'Do is a subfaction of the One Sith, and I'm a Faction Admin for the One Sith. If that's not enough, the Legion Yun'Do submission has Vrag listed as a Supreme Commander.
  2. As mentioned above, Legion Yun'Do is an active and evolving subfaction of the OS, developed and expanded on Selvaris and through various dominions. It might not have been listed in the original submission, but it has been developed since in the linked threads.
