• Capital City: Varenum
 • Planetary Features: Ancient Sith Ruins and Tombs,
 • Major Locations:
 • Varenum - The central capital of Paradisum, it's many towering structures would be ornate and gothic in their design, built to the exacting specifications of the planet's ruler, Constantinius Zambrano. The city has been designed to be both efficient and incredibly beautiful in it's design, a marvel to behold to any visitors whom might come to Paradisum to do business or partake in the many sights. The city has many vibrant districts and orderly public parks where plentiful amounts of trees and ornate statues are present.
 • The Gilded Palace - The Gilded Palace is a massive fortress built at the centre of the capital of Varenum, spanning at least twenty miles in width and towering over many structures in the city. This vast fortress serves as both the home of Constantinius and seat of power for Paradisum and it's sectors. In the residential section of the palace, there'd be many vast halls and galleries displaying ornate artwork and other interesting display pieces from across the galaxy. Vast armouries containing a massive collection of arms and armour would also be present, as well as a central tower which houses Constantinius's personal quarters, library and workshop. The rest of the palace would possess housing for the many human and alien servants and slaves that tend to Constantinius's needs and maintain his vast home, as well as a sizeable garrison of his own Auxilia forces. Large training yards, armouries, warehouses and barracks surround the exterior of the palace to aid in this regard.
 • Force Nexus (Optional): N/A
POPULATION
 • Native Species: N/A
 • Immigrated Species: Human, Twi'lek, Togruta, Sith Pureblood, Cathar, etc
 • Population: Moderate
 • Demographics: The population would be 70% Human, with the other 30% being a multitude of other races, many of whom serve as servants and slaves to the larger human percentage.
 • Primary Languages: Galactic Basic
 • Culture: The culture of Paradisum is a rich, yet orderly one. There'd be a great deal of support for the arts, considering the beauty of the planet and it's many impressively ornate cities. Daily life for it's populace is idyllic, with plentiful amounts of wealth for all, bar it's slave populace of course. The people of this world want for nothing under their benevolent ruler, meaning many of them are quite prideful of the quality of life they possess, and scoff at the trivial concerns of other worlds, especially those from beyond the borders of the Sith Empire. Religion is largely unexistant on this world, due to it's focus on the arts and sciences. Worshipping some trivial deity is not within the interest of most of the populace, though there's a definite cult of personality for their generous ruler Constantinius. A popular sport (of sorts) on Paradisum would be gladiatorial combat, where the strongest slaves and warriors are brought to battle for the amusement of the crowds in multiple gladiatorial arenas scattered across the many cities and settlements of the planet. However, outside of the gladiatorial circuit, many edicts are in place to prevent the needless suffering and abuse of the planets slaves, many who are treated like well looked after servants. This is due to Constantinius's logic that slaves who are content about their lot in life are far less likely to rebel against his and Sith Imperial rule in the future. These edicts are a test to see whether such an approach may be spread to other parts of the Sith Empire. Paradisum enjoys a close relationship with many affluent worlds across Sith Imperial space, especially the capital of Bastion, due to the fact the planet is ruled by the son of their beloved Sith Emperor.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
 • Government: Monarchy
 • Affiliation: Constantinius Zambrano, The Sith Empire
 • Wealth: Wealthy - Being the chosen world of one of the Sith Emperor's sons, this planet is highly regarded by the rich and wealthy amongst the Sith Empire. Much wealth is poured into it's economy, and it's a haven for the rich and affluent looking to live in luxury and assured safety.
 • Stability: High - The populace of Paradisum are quite orderly, wanting for nothing and being well protected and fairly policed by the Sith Imperial forces stationed on the planet under Constantinius's command.
 • Freedom & Oppression: Compared to many worlds in the Sith Empire, the populace of Paradisum are largely free and well looked after, even it's slave populace are not harshly treated due to Constantinius's personal edicts as Lord Regent of Paradisum.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
 • Military: The planet is defended by a standard Sith Imperial military garrison consisting of infantry, armoured and fighter support scattered across the planet. This sith controlled garrison force is also usually bolstered by Constantinius's own Auxilia, based within his palace in the capital city.
 • Technology: The technology of Paradisum is well above the galactic standard, allowing for the populace of this world to live in utter comfort. This is boosted by the fact the planet houses many scientific research facilities and institutes of learning, the efforts of which are partially dedicated to supporting the planet and it's populace.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Found ten years ago by Constantinius himself in his days of youth, this serene world had remained untouched and unscarred since the dawn of galactic history, having somehow escaped notice for all these millennia. This, Constantinius knew, would be where he would make his mark upon the galaxy and build a resplendant home for himself and his people. The construction of it's many resplendant cities was arranged by Constantinius himself, many of them actually designed by himself personally, and even then, he allowed only the best architects to contribute to his grand vision for this world.

After two years and much progress, Constantinius left to persue his training and augmentation to become a beacon of strength and might for the people of the Sith Empire. In his absence, the world has flourished due to the guidance of a carefully selected council of governors and scholars leading the world. With his recent return to the planet, Constantinius has set out to expand his plans for the planet even further, wanting to make it a shining beacon to the rest of the galaxy at large.

Good Evening [member="Constantinius Zambrano"],

Thanks for submitting the planet, it looks like a wonderful place to live...if you’re not a slave XD

There are just a few things I’d like to clear up with you before we move on with this planet submission.

So firstly, concerning your image source, the link takes us directly to the image, not to the source of the image. In addition the image you link to is not the same image that is used in the submission itself. You’re going to need to make sure the image linked is the correct image, and that you’re linking to the actual webpage you got the image from. You also have not provided a image source for the second image you used in the submission.

While this is a small concern, my next point is rather larger. The world Constantium is actually a world in Warhammer 40k as you can see here, While the world is a Hive World, and what you describe here is more akin to a paradise world it’s still far too close to the source material. The easiest way to resolve this is to change the name of the planet to one that does not have a link to the 40k universe, which your character very heavily draws his influence from. I also noticed that the name of the capital city is Angelos City, which I believe you have based on the character Gabriel Angelos, as well as the Aquilan Palace which seems to me to be a reference to the Aquila which is central to the Imperium of Man aesthetic in Warhammer 40k. You will need to rename all these locations as well since it is too on the nose, while it ok to draw inspiration from a universe you enjoy you need to be creative and come up with your own names and phrases.

I also noted that when listing the affiliations, you correctly linked to your character, however you’re going to need to link The Sith Empire’s faction page as well.

In the freedom and oppression section you mention

I’d like some more details on what exactly the edicts you mention entail, the fact that slaves exist means that one section of the population is oppressed by the very nature of their position in society. While you say they’re not harshly treated, I’ll need some more detail on what exactly those entail. How are their lives different from anywhere else in the galaxy? What has Constantinius done differently?

I also noticed that in the Military section you refer to a small Sith Imperial military garrison, but earlier in the submission, when describing The Aquilan Palace, you refer to a sizeable Sith Imperial military garrison. Could you please clarify what the presence entails?

I would also like to see a little more detail in the culture section, what we know is that the Imperii live an idyllic life with a focus on their support of the arts. However the template asks for the following.

General overview of the inhabitant's behaviors. This should include information about daily life, society, arts, sports, religion.

I would prefer to see you flesh out this section to include more detail on the lives and society of the Imperii. While you don’t need to write an essay, some more details would be helpful for anyone who chooses to RP on this planet to keep in line with your vision.

Editted to add a few more points that I had missed in my first read through.

Edits made! The link with that hive world was a purely accidental and coincidental one. My original plan was for Constantinius to name this world after himself. Also fixed the image link and source, that was an error on my part after having to swap the picture out the first time I tried posting this sub up. Please let me know if anything else needs adding/changing!

Hi, thank you for responding so quickly.

I'm afraid the name Aquilius really isn't much better, the Aquila is a symbology very closely linked to the 40k universe as you can see here. Given your character's inspiration drawing from the 40k universe I'm afraid that is still too on the nose, and I'll have to ask that you change it to something that isn't connected to warhammer 40k at all.

Also, my apologies but I spotted some more issues on a second read through, while I editted my post, you had already responded so I will summarise the points for you below.

I'm going to have to ask you to please change the name of Angelos City and the Aquilan Palace because of their connections to warhammer 40k. In particular Angelos City can refer to Captain Gabriel Angelos of the Blood Ravens, and The Aquilan Palace, as above can refer to the Aquila which is a symbol tied very closely to the Imperium of man. I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to rename the Planet and the two locations to something new that has no connections to Warhammer 40k.

While you have provided an image source for the first image, I'm also going to have to ask you to please provide one for the second image you use in your submission.

I also notice that you haven't added the link to the Sith Empire yet, if you could add that as well as flesh out what the edicts that Constantinus has issued in regards to the slaves. You don't have to spell them all out, but if you can please provide some details of the edicts and their purposes so that anyone RPing on the planet has something to reference back to. This way your ideas and vision of the planet can be clearly seen and mantained by other writers.

Done! I also got rid of the second picture to simply things a little. I hope everything is alright now! Forgive me for making a few 40k references. I just thought they'd be a fun little nod here and there. :)
