Description: The Pandorum-class heavy gunship is a rough equivalent to the Republic's Malos-class from Koensayr, and the OP Inimica-class. Rather than focus on ground suppression as with the Malos, or multibarrelled turreted warhead launchers as with the Inimica, the Pandorum strikes a balance between roles, and makes various tradeoffs. Though it has a smaller bomb bay than the Inimica, its turret-mounted, LAAT-derived warhead mass drivers are better for close combat than the Inimica's dorsal vertical-launch rockets. All four proton torpedo turrets are fed from a turadium ammunition bay in the middle of the ship. The Pandorum lacks the Inimica's proton rocket capacity and heavy guns, as well as the Malos' immense thermal detonator bay, but boasts redundant shields and equal maneuverability. The cockpit has a lesser field of view, but is more heavily armored. It lacks the Inimica's cargo capacity, opting for more warheads.
All told, the Pandorum performs very much like the Inimica and the Malos in most mission profiles.
