  • Religion Name: Ot Ainah Mgleth | Whispers of Truth
  • Religion Type: Monotheist (Gnaiih ot N'ghftnahh)
  • Influence: Planetary
  • Influence Area: Wgah'nagl | The Dark Planet | Quarantine world 142
  • Symbol: Link.
  • Description: Religion is based on an ancient historical event when, according to legend, a left-handed man arrived on the planet who did something here (corrupting the Nexus) and as a result, Touched species could be created. He is called Gnaiih ot N'ghftnahh, which in common language means Father of Shadows. That person is supposedly Typhojem, the Sith God, though the locals have no idea and no one else, this just an assumption, but it could have been anyone else. The people of the planet have respected and worshiped him for thousands of years, he is the central and only figure in their religion. The Touched, when they become adults, present a sacrifice to God, in a form that cuts off their right hand so that they too are left-handed after that. At least a good portion of the population (who don’t need two hands or normally capable shape-shifting) chooses all of this in their rehearsal. The species hears a constant whisper, the meaning of which they do not understand because it is too quiet, but they see it as their God whispering to them, hence the name of their religion, Ot Ainah Mgleth, or Whispers of Truth. In fact, due to the damage done to their Nexus, the world is too close to the Netherworld and the dimension where Eldritch creatures live and they hear the echoes of these worlds / dimensions.

  • Founder: Religion was not founded by one person, but by an entire community. Both the culture and the ethnic group were still very backward, superstitious when their later gods arrived. Because he was different from them, he used technology and Force, so they began to worship him as gods when he was on the planet. And after his departure, it spread throughout the planet and then became part of the culture when the first lesions appeared on the members of Touched.
  • Membership: Everyone who is born on the planet will be part of the religion. It is not known from the outside world how you can become a part of it, considering the inhabitants of the planet are killing and using every intruder. They learn the basics of religion from an early age and must present a sacrifice at least once in the life of every inhabitant of the planet. This is equal to the rite / test of adulthood. Then they have to sacrifice something, the majority usually choose to cut off their right hand so that they can be left-handed like their god.
  • Sacred: It is sacred and inviolable for them to see someone see more and more external changes. They believe that the more one resembles an Eldritch creature, or horror, the closer one is to their god. The same is true for using Eldritch Magic (Force). Anyone with such abilities cannot be treated, if so, can be sentenced to immediate death.
  • Dogma:
    • Their most important rule is that everyone is obligated to worship Gnaiih ot N’ghftnahh. It is believed that their entire race was created by him.
    • Daily prayer and going to church once a week are mandatory. Their system of faith also determines their position in society. The more lesions one has, or Magician, the more prominent the place of the race in society and religion.
    • Once a week, villages and towns amplify the whisper in their minds, and by doing so every weekend, the villagers connect their consciousness with the help of a community religious leader. Thus, the effect is much more intense. Once a year, all this is extended to the entire planet.
    • They have their own religious book that they keep in every home. These books are usually made with alchemy and Eldritch magic, so if an outsider wanted to read them, they would probably be driven crazy by the impact of the book.
  • Reputation: N/A

All the inhabitants of the planet are members of the church, there are no outsiders among them at all. The church is divided into five different ranks, of which those in the top two can only have members who are able to use Magic (Force). And at the highest rank in the hierarchy can be individuals blessed with very strong abilities who are able to extend their once-a-year ritual to the entire planet.
  • Truthspeakers: There are only a handful of people of this rank within the church and religion, they are the most powerful Magicians on the planet. Their power is so great that they can even affect the whole world if they want to. This is why they also have such great telepathic power that they are able to fuse all the inhabitants of the planet into a common hive consciousness for a time during the most sacred ritual of their religion. At such times, they also gather all the knowledge that the population has accumulated over the course of a year, in exchange for flooding the population with a very loud whisper (divine blessing). They are only capable of doing this on this planet, as they have a very deep and probably centuries-old, deep knowledge of how to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the planet’s Nexus.
  • Whisperers: They are the leaders of different cities and towns, a kind of mayors and religious leaders. They decide on the rehearsals of the young people in their own territory, they educate the children at school on religious matters, together with the members of Kadishtuor. Depending on their power and abilities, alone or more during the weekly prayer, they connect the consciousnesses of the members of their flock, and like Truthspeakers, they also gather knowledge. They tell dark prophecies to those in their flock, try to interpret the whisper, and explain their visions of Eldritch / magic, which they share with those in their community, in whispers.
  • Eyes and Ears: In every religion, it is very important for religious leaders to be able to monitor their flock for compliance with the laws of the church and religion. Persons from any race can come here except slaves. One may be of low rank within the society by reason of his or her origin, but within the church he or she may earn a higher esteem by his or her services.
  • Heralds: In essence, they qualify as the unholy army, only members of the Ah'n'ghayar, who are the most blinded fanatics, can be included in this group. They are the ones who, because of their fanaticism, deserved to lead the armies should that be necessary. They are the military leaders.
  • Listeners: A significant part of the population, almost 90-95%, belongs to this group. They are the ones who can only listen to the whisper of their god, but also very quietly. This group includes all persons who do not have a divine grace, i.e. the Magic. (Kadishtuor, Mgepahazath, Ah'gotha, Ah'n'ghayar (most of them), Ah'gotha and Uh'enah).

The religion was formed roughly 8,000 years ago when a mysterious group of Sith, or a left-handed man, visited the planet alone and experimented with the planet’s Nexus. The people living here already considered him a deity because of the technology he used, and after his departure, the news of his existence and his worship spread throughout the planet. After that, however, it seemed that the religion might disappear and be lost in the obscurity of time, because the locals had found other religions as well, and because of the very superstitious views, there was a great opportunity for that.

Eventually, however, religion survived and flared up with renewed vigor when, as a result of the corruption of the Nexus, the first babies born with parting appear a few years, decades after the disappearance of Gnaiih ot N’ghftnahh. In the beginning, they were still being persecuted, they wanted to kill them, but those who still remembered Gnaiih ot N'ghftnahh and what he looked like (i.e., as he appeared before them) considered it a divine sign. As their offspring became more and more like this, and those who were not born with it began to transform as a result of the influence of the Nexus, religiosity spread throughout the planet.

Soon, those who did not have a lesion were at the bottom of society. Over the following centuries, the dogmas, views, and habits that are still present today have developed and are still present today. There wasn’t really much change in these. There are perhaps two major events worth noting that actually fundamentally added to religion.

One is the weekly contact and, once a year, the unification of the entire planet into a common hive consciousness. These two habits have only developed in the last eighty-hundred years, they have not existed before. Not knowing why, but it was believed that someone had heard it all in one of their visions or whispers. Its formation is obscured, but events happen every week and every year. From this point on, you want really accurate and new information about the history of the planet and religious records.
