- [SIZE=14pt]Invisible: [/SIZE][SIZE=14pt]When activated, the device emits a cloaking field around the user that renders them effectively invisible to the naked eye, as well as most sensors. That being said, there is a distinct oscillation effect that occurs if the wearer moves while the field is active. Also, if the wearer makes physical contact with another object outside the field, or attempts to fire a weapon while the field is active, the device’s field emitter will short out rendering the device useless until it can be repaired.[/SIZE]
- [SIZE=14pt]Invisibility field: [/SIZE][SIZE=14pt]When the cloaking field is active, and if the user does not attempt to fire a weapon, move or otherwise make contact with any physical objects outside the field, the user is rendered effectively invisible from the naked eye and most scanning devices. - [SIZE=14pt]Oscillation effect: [/SIZE][SIZE=14pt]If the wearer moves while the cloaking field is active, the device will emit a distinct oscillation effect which can make it relatively easy for an attentive individual to spot the movement. That being said, this oscillation effect does not allow most sensors to pick up the user’s lifesigns. [/SIZE]
- [SIZE=14pt]Temperamental:[/SIZE][SIZE=14pt] Impurities in the Stygium crystals used in the devices’ manufacture make it quite temperamental. Though the user can move freely with the field engaged, they cannot attempt to fire a weapon or make any physical contact (the ground they stand on is exempted) with an object outside of the field. If they do, the field emitter will short out and the device will be rendered useless until it is repaired.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=14pt]The OSX-01 Personal Cloaking Device, was commissioned to be a personal stealth device for @Beltran Rarr, the owner of Obsidian Star Technologies. After painstaking research and development, only a single device was created. Following the device’s creation, the schematics were removed from Obsidian Star’s data servers. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.[/SIZE]
