Most people get into the military, especially high stress environments such as that which a Star Fighter Pilot would be put through rather early into their lives. Most recruitment drives aim for the lower age bracket in order to capitalize on the many, many benefits from gathering your military industry from the youth. Orssos is not young. He is fully grown man, starting to arch into middle age. He has wear and tear built upon his body, and he stands with the disinterest of someone that has seen everything yet nothing through his lifetime. His eyes carry enough weight to burn someone into the ground, his voice is graveled and rusted with overuse, and his movements are calculated through muscle memory.

He Was the Best Star Pilot in the Galaxy
While far from being the actual best star pilot in the Galaxy, Orssos has quite a reputation between his peers of being able to preform works of magic with his, rather unwieldy, turbolaser starfighter.
Oh, this is going to be easy.
Complete confidence goes a long way for someone, especially when it comes to being a TIE pilot. Orssos is headstrong and bullheaded, but in the light that he believes in his own skills to see his missions through.

Orssos, despite what he would like others to see him as, relies often on more unsavory tactics. Most of which would end up with a proper court marshaling if good evidence could be collected on the topic.

Orssos believes, 100%, in the propaganda of the Empire, of the New Imperial Order as their successor as well. He, and his family at large, buys into every last piece of state truth he is delivered.

Far from shame for the life he's living, Orssos is often haunted by the idea of what his life could have been should he stayed at home, or if the Empire never properly fell.
