Description: An abandoned city covered in Yorik Coral and other Vong things. A green river flows through the center of the city from the strange mountain of oozing green crystals that has taken root in the center of the old MandalMotors/Tech R&D building.
History: One of the few cities or settlements within the Vong Wastes, Oriya be Ju was once a bustling city full of mostly MandalMotors and MandalTech employees. However, during the Yuuzhan Vong War the city was sacked by the Vong due to the Ori'ramikade garrison and believed anti-Vong experimentation in MandalTech's R&D research labs. It was one of the first places hit by the Vong during the war with the Mandalorians and was quickly terraformed as a base of operations for the Vong due to its proximity to Keldabe, the closest thing the Mandalorians had to a capital city.
After the war the city became known as the City of Woe, a stark reminder that even the Mandalorians could be defeated. It was not a name nor a place that sat well with many Mandalorians, due to their own pride, but it was an appropriate name none the less. During re-terraforming processes the city failed to be shifted back to its normal state, creating the even more hostile environment that it is today.
