OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To flesh out the centralized infrastructure of Oricon's manufacturing sectors owned by Aegis Systems and Jaeger Solutions.

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: The Oricon Infrastructure Center (OIC)
  • Classification: Infrastructure Operations Center
  • Location: Oricon
  • Affiliation: Aegis Systems & Jaeger Solutions
  • Accessibility: The OIC is a rather generic-looking building within the newly developing areas of Oricon. Seated within a quadrant of droid and weapon foundries, the OIC is an unassuming and seemingly unimportant building. Access is restricted to all personnel without the proper clearances and access is restricted to the general public.
  • Security: Security is of the highest importance within the OIC. As the primary manager of all of the infrastructure and industrial assets on Oricon owned by Aegis and Jaeger, the OIC has been fitted with a Scutum Automated Defense System, complete with security droid patrols. Near the interior with the Infrastructure Management System is a plethora of EI-10 Network Security droids, which safeguard the IMS electronically as best as they can.
  • Description: A small, unassuming building near the center of the industrial yards staffed by Aegis Systems and Jaeger Solutions personnel.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Entrance - There's but a single entrance and exit to this building: right through the front. While appearing quite normal and unguarded from the exterior, there's a checkpoint once you get past the reinforced blast doors. A small complement of security droids and a plethora of other sensors and scanners safeguard the entrance to this facility.
  • Operations Room - Past the entrance is the operations room. This is where most organic personnel, typically manufacturing managers and infrastructure specialists, come to discuss projects and the like. There's normally only a handful of folks work here although the numbers jump up once projects are being planned and tasked.
  • IMS Core - Further behind the operations room is a massive room dedicated to housing the Infrastructure Management System. Redundant power lines and generators run to the massive core and numerous heatsinks and radiators line the room. Other than the HVAC and power supplies located here, there's nothing too special regarding this room aside from the singular entity within it.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

During the occupation and ongoing transformation of Oricon, Aegis Systems developed an infrastructure management system capable of overseeing planetary administration and development far better than any organic planner. Capable of connecting to millions of nodes, systems, and networks, the IMS made its debut appearance here. It was seated at the center of multiple manufacturing sectors, managing and optimizing their performance as temporary, prefabricated buildings came quickly into existence.

Carefully and thoroughly, the Oricon Infrastructure Center was established. Its IMS, lovingly named Juliet, works hand in hand with management and manufacturing personnel to get this world spun up to galactic standards. Terraforming, climate alterations, and future groundside development are hot topics often discussed in the operations room.

Nicely written and the submission looks very neat, though I am seeing something of a split in the writing.

The intent and part of the description suggests that this facility controls the entirety of Oricon's infrastructure, but the security says that it only controls the assets controlled by your companies.

Can you clarify it one way or another?
