The Order of the Pearl is a morally good religious military group that focuses on defending the weak and innocent from the likes of Sith. Founded based on the stories of Jedi Knight Lily Decoria, the Order of the Pearl strives to be more like her in every act they do. As such many Templars of the Pearl go out on missions to either eradicate pirates, slavers or to free innocents from unjustified captivity. As such, many warriors of the Pearl are trained to be excellent in martial combat with a variety of melee weapons. For every day, all members of the Order of the Pearl strive to be like the woman that inspired them all. Which will only make them feel closer to their goddess.

- Hierarchy:
Knight Paragon/Paragon of the Pearl- Highest obtainable rank within the Order of the Pearl. It is similar rank to that of a Jedi Master. Knight Paragons are veteran elite commanders and warriors often overseeing large forces or deployments of the Pearl. They also commune with the Princesses for matters of state.
Knight Paladins/Paladin of the Pearl- Second highest rank within the Order. Often compared to the same rank of Jedi Knights. Paladins of the Pearl are full capabable warriors in their own right. They are often able to handle missions to them almost single handedly and can take lower ranked member of the Order as their squire.
Knight Templar/Templar of the Pearl- A fully fledged member of the Order. After being knighted, the Knight templar can participate in missions for a specific Knight Paladin or be deployed by a Paladin for a larger scale mission. While some may equate this rank to that of a Jedi Apprentice, Templars of the Pearl are still quite capabable warriors.
Knight-Errant/Errant of the Pearl- The equivalent of a Jedi padawan. Most of their time is spent training and studying within the safety of the settlement. A Paladin or sometimes even an accomplish Templar may take an Errant as their personals squire for a more fast paced and personalzied instruction. Every Knight Errant aspires to be picked by a Paladin, but some may still obtain the rank of Templar throgh hard work.

Recruitment- The Order of the Pearl accepts recruits from all races, as long as they express a desire to do good in the galaxy. Being a good moral person is explicity required to being apart of the Order and as well as following the religious/philosophical doctrine of the Order as well be able to be martially trained. The two stipulations for recruitment is that Force sensitives and males can not be full members of the Order. The former is due to the lack being able to train force users in their powers. The latter is due to the matriarchal culture of the people that founded this Order. Yet both of these groups can be supporting roles of the Order such as logistics experts, technicans, medics and healers, and archvists. - Climate: A combination of a martial sisterhood and a religious cult. Each member of the Order of the Pearl has a sacred vow to uphold the ideals of the chosen goddess. For that honor, chilvary, and being a beacon against the darkness will bring them closer to their faith. Each title given to a member is meant to be worn with pride as it shows how dedicated one is to the Order.
- Reputation:
Reputation across the galaxy is mostly non existent in the grand scheme of things. However in terms of criminals and pirates, the Order of the Pearl is considered a thorn in various operations. Though many of them as degrading remarks call Order of the Pearl members wannabe Jedi or Jedi-Lite as insults. Yet that doesnt mean criminals and pirates do want to willingly engage in conflict with the Pearl if they can help it. Other groups such as the Sith or Mandalorians might view them as an insignificant group of vigilantes or do gooders. That while they could wipe them out if they truly wanted to, it is not necessary and could just be seen as a waste of time. Jedi or other light sided factions may have heard of the Order of the Pearl, but more information is needed to figure out their true intentions. Whether are they a force of good or perhaps similar to the long dead Ashlan Crusade. - Curios:

The Order of the Pearl doesnt have any hard set rules of per say, but rather they follow a religious philosophical doctrine. It primarily focuses on being good natured and protect the innocant at all costs. To vanquish those that will use the dark side or those who use tyranny to oppress for the sake of "ruling." Much of their rules and dogma come from stories of what Jedi Knioght Lily has embodied throughout her time during the Galactic Alliance. - Goals: To grow stronger to one day assist in the eradication of both Sith and Imperials. To help combat against those that prey on the innocent and weak of the galaxy. Also to provide people who want to fight back means of doing so and providing sancutary.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The fall of the Galactic Alliance was an event many would not forget. Sure yes, many could have seen the writing on the wall but many still had hope. Hope that was vanished with the Galactic Alliance dissolved, its member worlds being swept up by other competing galactic powers. Fleets were lost or disbanded. Many of them fled to the Royal Naboo Republic or others simply were destroyed by incoming Sith raiders. The long dominant power for good at finally come to an end. Desperate and broken, many people fled their homeworlds in the ensuing chaos forming ad-hoc refugee fleets or groups. One such small floattila ships comprised of mainly humans, Sephi, Twi'leks and Leporine along with some remnants of the GA military would set out for the edges of Wild Space that bordered the Unknown Regions. There they would come across the planet Odessen, selecting it as their place of refuge. But upon their arrival they also met a small town of Ashlans who survived here after the collapse if their crusade. The two groups would be able to co-exist together as they struggled to live a new life.
Though depression and hoplessness has gripped the new arrivals, as it already had done with the Ashlans who called this place home. What few working interplanetary communications that worked from their rag tag of ships only broadcasted more and more bad news. The Jedi Order had splittered off into separate groups, each one having a different view of the other. Others were reports at how the Sith continue to get stronger with every passing day. That darkness shall reign over majority of the galaxy. Eventually, these communication devices were scrapped or left to slowly fall into disrepair. These refugees only had the energy to sustain themselves but..hope itself. Hope was gone and it died with the fall of the Galactic Alliance.
Time passed by and life went on. Nothing disturbed these peaceful but also very despressed group of people. Until one of the communication devices long thought to be broke suddently flickered to life. A message. Now a speech rang through. A hologram of a woman spoke with such passion and fierceness about continuing to have hope and resistance. Then she said it "I, Lily Decoria, fight for you. Show them that you won't turn a blind eye anymore."
Technicians began to work to try and restore one of the military ships terminals, to find out who this Lily Decoria was. Some records were able to be recovered and it was found out that Lily Decoria was a Jedi Knight back when the Galactic Alliance still was around. A proven warrior and a capbable leader. She had various accolades as well according to the records along with some brief information on a personnel dossier. For once this ragtag assortment of people had hope and perhaps even the belief that they could still have a brighter galaxy. But while all this new feeling was good, they knew they had to prepare themselves to fight if Lily ever did call upon them again.
It was here that the Order of the Pearl, can trace their founding from. Not from one single person but from a community of people who had been given hope once more by a fiery woman light years away. Tha she had supplied them with such renwed purpose and focus, that she can only be seen to these community as a higher being. It was from this moment that sparked the creation of the Order of the Pearl, and to this day, they owe Lily Decoria everything. They will give her everything.
