Daiq nodded. [member="Myles Davorak"] was turning into a good hire, just like Sayer. They did their duties without question or argument. Such employees were valuable. And they would be paid like it too.

"Your weapons and everything that was on you is in your quarters. I'll take you to them."

She headed to the door, used the same security to open it, and then led Myles down the corridor. It wasn't quite a straight corridor, it had rounded somewhat and it was at that arc that the door to his quarters stood. A touchpad was there, as well as an eyescanner. "Place your hand on the pad, try not to blink and speak a short phrase. You'll be put into the system and granted access to most rooms in the facility." Once he had done so, the door would slide open and Myles would see his room. It was medium in size, complete with a living space, small kitchenette, bedroom and washroom. A large window allowed him a grand view of the ocean. On an adjacent wall was a large holoscreen that gave him the security feeds, as well as access to broadcasts around the Galaxy. On his bed were his belongings.

Myles followed Daiq curiously down the hallway, all the meanwhile looking at the vastness of the ocean. They soon came to a stop where a door remained near them.

Boy she does have quite the facility. Myles thought silently.

"Alright......Callsign Dagger" He said without thinking as he placed his hand on the scanner. Dagger was a nickname he was given by some of the locals on Rishi due to his sharp attitude.

The retinal scanner was finished and the door soon opened, revealing quite the living space. Everything he could ever want was awaiting him in this room. He saw his belongings on the bed, as if they weren't touched by anyone except him. I believe it's time to go to work.

"Daiq, I know you are a busy woman and have other things to tend to. I have the security feeds at least so I think I may be good to go. Ill start right away unless there is anything else I need to know or if there is anything else you wish to show me" In some strange event, he hoped to impress the woman who had employed him.

Doubtfully so, he flashed a quick smile before walking over to his bed to examine his equipment and prepare for what was to come. The sooner he got started, the better planning he could do.

"Lovely room, thanks for that."

Now I just gotta find what sort of alternate ways in there are, how many doors. If there are maintenance shafts, how many and how are they opened. Are there bypasses that could open these doors. A lot of factors were to be considered while he planned a proper counter-attack

Between the three of them, Veiere gazed upon them each as curiously as they might have questioned his own attire. Was it really so difficult to see someone unwilling to play a farse to somebody else's fiction, Veiere was most comfortable in himself to need not to pretend to be another. Turning to look to @Macoda Harberon whether or not the man was questioning him or otherwise, he spoke up for the others sake too. "Our passage to Bakura has been approved by our contacts within the First Order's Security Bureau" he paused, knowing better yet too being trusted with their knowledge over the Knights of Ren, Commenor might need to call upon them one day and such a trust was not easily gained. "Their Intelligence suggests that despite our concerns, Rae-Anna is not being pursued by [member="Connor Harrison"] as the man in question is in the captivity of the Galactic Alliance. I do not think our presence will be expected, so the possibilities from there moving forward..." He shook his head as if to say he knew little more.

Moving passed Macoda, Veiere approached [member="Darlyn Excron"] and handed [member="Bradshaw Ku"] the EE-3 nodding to him in reassurance, "I feel this will suit you better than it will myself. Let me know how it handles, I intend on passing the weapon on to another" he smiled briefly before glancing to Darlyn and dipping his head in greeting, "A good team" he spoke casually before delving into the depths of the vessel in order to find some time to quietly pass the flight by. Though King, he wasn't the type of man to call attention to himself and often found comfort in the quiet of things rather than the blistering company of wild conversation and constant pursuit for his opinion as he had found nothing less within the Palace. Between the four of them, Veiere found their company to be above and beyond most others in comfort, yet Bradshaw Ku was really the only one who had found Veiere on more personal grounds, what with him being Kay's son and then the obvious rest within the Praxeum and what not. That wasn't to say that he didn't respect Macoda or Darlyn of course, he knew them both fair enough and trusted their ability to serve as guardians over Commenor, the royal family and the state of law across Commenori space; he simply hadn't made the ground or landed that crucial conversation to get to know them personally, beyond their jobs.

[member="Myles Davorak"] had a great work ethic. Perhaps that came with age. It was appreciated nonetheless. Straight to work, no relaxation required just yet. Though that was why he had security feeds in his quarters, so that even when he was off duty, he'd be able to keep track of things.

"There is nothing else at this time. Sayer is on hand. He'll be keeping an eye on you to be sure that you can be trusted. It's nothing personal, just my own protocols." For the moment, Sayer couldn't be seen. But he knew the facility inside and out, including the secret floors and corridors that allowed them quick access from one end to the other. Daiq had spent a lot of money on this facility to suit her needs. It was impossible to think of everything, but she had done a fair job.

She gave him a curt nod and then departed, placing her hand on the touchpad, repeating her phrase and scanning her eye to be let out. There were other matters to tend to. [member="Rae Anna Ku"] was one of them. Daiq approached the lab room that she was in and gained entry. By now Rae-Anna should be more conscious. She checked on her vitals, giving the girl a small smile while she studied her. "You did really well yesterday. Your cuts are healing nicely, despite your weakened state. It's remarkable really, what you can do. But like I've always said, there's a downside to it too. You'll be cured soon enough, my dear. We just have to be patient."

She was serious about the security and confidentiality of this place. Myles respected that.
"No offense taken, I understand. Your methods get results and protect you as much as it does this facility. I will not object with that"

He just hoped that when taking a shower or using the refresher, there wouldn't be too many eyes; if any on him.

With Daiq taking her leave to tend to other matters. Myles sat on the bed and hurriedly picked his rifle up and inspected it.
No screws loose. No calibration errors. No misalignments....good.
Myles was cautious with his gear; just as Daiq was with this place.

Field stripping the weapon he applied a basic cleaning kit to it that he pulled out of his rucksack. Gotta be ready for anything. Something tells me that it won't be quiet here for long.

As he slapped the weapon back together, he pulled energy cells out of the pack and laid them on the bed.
Pulling his tactical harness off the table, he secured it on his person and pocketed the energy cells into the various pouches.

There....all set. He was ready for the most part.
Looking at the camera feeds, everything seemed normal..but Myles was one for an actual patrol; not staring at a screen all day. He could do that when it was time for rest.

Keeping his weapon at the ready, he moved his rucksack to the corner of the room and he soon departed from his quarters, ready for his patrol.

This should be fun.

There were no cameras in the shower or the resfresher. Daiq wasn't that bad. She knew that there was some areas where privacy was required. Even the bedrooms themselves had no cameras, except for ones aimed at the doorway. She didn't like the idea of others watching her undress. But the rest of her own quarters had cameras. This way she could keep an eye on things while she was elsewhere in the facility.

As [member="Myles Davorak"] would make his rounds, he'd come across other doctors, nurses and a multitude of different labs. In some, faint screams or cries could be heard behind the doors. But more or less the facility was quiet. Most of the employees weren't as stoic as Daiq was. They'd offer him smiles and nods of their heads, some even saying hello as he passed them.

For the time being, it was quiet.

Myles made his rounds in the underwater facility. Along his patrol route he would make mental note of systems and security in place; to count as a force multiplier.

The security doors are not able to be bypassed by normal standards. Good, nothing was skimped on. Brute force would take more than a few attempts as well. Slicing the door.....Myles wasn't the strong technical type but he could tell that only a very experienced slicer would have a chance; if they had the right equipment.

A few scientists and researchers waved at him as he made his way through the elaborate structure. Winning their hearts is key. Myles thought to himself as he waved back and smiled at the personnel who greeted him.

"Ookay, doors are very well secured and the glass is some sort of...tempered material...seems impregnable" . There was only one thing he had yet to discover as of now....maintenance hatches and/or tunnels. Not sure where these would be located he headed back to his quarters and examined the feeds as he contemplated his next maneuver. Maybe Sayer knows or can be of some assistance. Myles didn't like pestering others but it could be information he needed to know.

If enemies had proper knowledge, they could possibly infiltrate this place if enough "holes" were uncovered. Still, this was an underwater fortress. Who in their right mind would try an extraction mission?
[member="Lady Kay"]

Darlyn chuckled a bit as he walked on, giving [member="Bradshaw Ku"] what seemed to be a glare through his mask. "Your words are impressive, lets hope you get results equally so. I'm sure someone would pay for your head otherwise." He followed him aboard, and removed his mask after [member="Macoda Haberon"] spoke, and there was a stronger sense of safety in the general area. The mask came free easily, leaving Darlyn with the cloth head covering and hat upon his head for the moment's notice. The gates closed, and Brad no doubt getting ready to take off soon enough, and [member="Veiere Arenais"] standing by in his robes.

Amusingly that might actually help.

Darlyn smirked a bit and brought out a personal datapad, scrolling over the notes he took. "I didn't find a thing on Rae. Legal or otherwise, it's like she ceased to exist. That said, I did a second search through the bounty boards and found some.. interesting findings. There wasn't anyone by the name of 'Daiq' in the board histories but there was someone matching her description for the most part, as one of the posters mind you. An open bounty on force users in general. I dig a little bit of digging and the poster seemed to originate from Bakura. Which means one of two things, someone who looks a lot like Daiq really hates force users, or [member="Rae Anna Ku"] is in great danger at the moment. Personally I hope it's the former, but since Veiere here isn't in the mood to hide his identity we should be all the more careful."

"Or we could try to use that to our advantage, force cuffs, drugs, tracking chips, the works. Much as I love our dear king, I do think him swallowing a chip if it's Daiq's bounty up on the board would be smart. Back alley exchange, if it's not Daiq we just deal with it and move on. Otherwise I have little idea where exactly to search on Bakura, we don't exactly know where to begin. Cantinas are excellent for scoping out jobs, but with this bounty out I am more than hesitant to spend much time in the domain of whoever put it up."
He rested the rotary blaster on his shoulder and cracked his neck a bit. The joys of research, you only ever found bad news really. "Once we find where to go though, if she's on the planet, we can get her. I imagine if we get close Brad could pick up her signature easily, and Veiere might be able to as well given his strength and familiarity with both [member="Lady Kay"] and our prince's signatures."

Sayer hadn't gone back to the mainland yet. It was too early, hence the need for his duffle bag. Not only did it contain his weapons, but it also held changes of clothes and his own personal set of diving gear. He had his own quarters in the facility, as well as his own sets of screens with the security feeds. It wasn't often that he was in the facility, but whenever he was, it was never for just a short visit.

He approached the quarters of [member="Myles Davorak"] and knocked. There were certain aspects of the facility that he needed to see. Daiq had given him the all clear to do so. He waited, arms clasped behind him. When Myles opened the door, Sayer greeted him with a soft voice, however the look in his eyes gave no hint of kindness."Follow me. I have instructions to show you what will give you an edge above most here." And by that of course he had meant the secret corridors, hatches and the like. They were needed to keep it secure and well maintained.

With Myles examining the security feeds he heard a consistent knock on his door? Can Daiq read my mind too? It seems that Sayer was instructed by Daiq to show Myles various corridors and passageways that potential enemies could use should they know about them.

Sayer was very.....distant about the information he needed to relay to Myles. All about business, Ill honor that as well.

"Very well, ready when you are Sayer" Myles added as he departed from his living quarters. Knowing this facility in and out will have its advantages that's for sure. He was preparing for an enemy that may know more than him.

Getting anxious. I wonder who Daiq is expecting to take a dive down here? Better yet, what would they want?

At least [member="Myles Davorak"] didn't call him Mr. Sayer. He hated that. Sayer was good enough. He led Myles down the corridor, not bothering to look to see whether or not he was being followed. He just assumed that he was.

The corridors appeared to be all the same, full of white panels, all looking to be the same sizes in width. All the doors were equal distances apart as though someone with a case of OCD had designed the facility. Or a perfectionist.

Five panels in on the right side, Sayer stopped. He placed his hands on the panel and pushed. It slid into the wall an inch and then slid to the left. Behind it was another corridor, not nearly as wide and metallic instead of white. Sayer walked in. "Five is Daiq's favourite number. Every five panels from across every doctor's quarters and yours are these access points which will bring you into these maintenance hatches. This will take you down to engineering as well as ensure that you can get ahead of anyone, should they be trying to escape or steal the patients." Valves were also passed by, each marked with numbers. "Should the hull be breached and the facility starts to flood, barriers will come up and you can control the water with these valves. It is also used as a last resort to drown threats." Such a thing had happened before. Daiq used it as an example to keep her patients in line. Sacrificing one patient for the sake of her research was necessary.

"Any questions?" Sayer spoke a bit impatiently. He was eager to get back to the mainland.

Myles observed and made note of the hatches located throughout the facility. At least Daiq was consistent with their placing. Knowing this should allow him to cut off any threats in the base, also controlling the water might be a good way to funnel threats into a trap, or eliminate them for that matter.

Lady Kay said:
Any questions?
Myles was a man of timeliness so he thanked the man known as Sayer "None whatsoever, appreciate the info Sayer" He knew this man probably had better things to do than babysitting or giving a tour.
He would allow Sayer to leave to his own business if he wished, or if Sayer had other business to discuss with him, he would give him the audience.

The maintenance hatches reminded him of the halls in his ship. Containing various consoles and switches that aided in multiple scenarios, except these were used to control the flow of water, should any enter the facility.
Davorak could sense a feeling of "rushing" with Sayer, so he knew that he may wish to leave him to his duties.

"I think I got it from here Sayer" He added as he looked down the corridor.

Sayer wanted to head back right away. Yet he gave himself one more moment to watch [member="Myles Davorak"] as he studied the passage. He had a report to make for Daiq, afterall. And as Myles spoke up again, he decided that the new hire was satisfactory enough, so he took his leave without a word.

To his quarters he went, gathering his duffel that he hadn't even unpacked. Fortunately he didn't need to. He headed to the dock and took a small underwater speeder that would take him back to the mainland. There was much for him to do to prepare in case of attack.

Meanwhile Daiq showed no expression as [member="Rae Anna Ku"] made no reaction and didn't even speak in response to her comments. No matter. She jotted down some notes on her datapad before hitting a switch on a nearby machine, allowing for a nutrition drip to begin it's cycle through one of the IV's in Rae-Anna's arm.

"You can hate me all that you want. But I'm the only one that cares for you. Everyone else ran out on you. They were afraid of what you can do. Once you're fixed of your illness, people will never run out on you again. I promise."

Still in the maintenance tunnel, Myles made mental note of the water-control systems that could allow him to flood enemies out. This will come in handy.

Every fifth panel eh? Good to know. The Old Man stepped out from the entryway and closed the panel back on the wall, covering the secret corridor. He unslung his rifle again and resumed a basic patrol.

Heading back to his quarters his placed his hand on the panel and spoke "Callsign Dagger" to which the door opened without hesistation.
Davorak sat down and reviewed the security feeds, in case he needed to isolate threats, he would memorize the camera patterns and what area of the room they were located. He could "map" the whole facility based on where the cameras were placed.

Good. If threats broke in, I know exactly where to cut them off. He smirked, but there could be a slim chance that the enemy might be smarter than him; he hoped that wasn't the case. Myles could only guarantee his best.

Daiq.... He saw his employer, in a lab with a younger woman....Myles recognized her "Ray of Sunshine" he recalled. That is the patient of interest, and most likely the patient that a rescue team might come here for. No matter, he would like to think they wouldn't get very far with him on the job.

Myles you're getting cocky again, chill out. The pressure of the circumstances was riding pretty high on his thought process.

Davorak left his quarters once again, to really map out the facility in person. It was one thing to map it mentally from camera visuals, but another to really memorize this place. Good thing he had the time to do so.
