Jedi Hotelier
"Manaan underworld? Your best chance to intercept these Selkath crooks lies on Nar Kreeta!" a guest tipped Varindar off. "It's not too late to enter the race; they hold races four times a week"
Was that guest just telling me this to pull me away from the hotel or pool? Sometimes I can feel that false info may be fed to me, Varindar thought, but she needs to assume the guest is acting in good faith until proven otherwise. [member="Chekīta Awaud"] had a point, though: Varindar's experience with the underworld is, well, exotic, and can be funny to a person that had little exposure to the sport. Yes, the moneylaundering book with a washing machine filled with bank notes sitting in a pool on its cover page was hers, and was available at the hotel's library. But that book would probably be a continuation of what was written in the first book, whose content would extend well beyond moneylaundering alone. Yet she would likely be hit by publication bans on Rishi or Manaan because much of the content would compromise criminal investigations underway (at least on Manaan; law enforcement on Rishi was much less refined). Or at least until these criminal investigations would be completed and the people responsible for the crimes in question would stand trial.
"I guess, time to prepare for this sting operation on Nar Kreeta!"
