Operation Beskar Point

Echoy'la, Beskar Point Camp

Mission Briefing: Intelligence reports are coming in from an informant that a splinter faction of mandalorians still loyal to The Mandalore and the Mandalorian Empire known as the Grey Watch have been training in the nearby jungle. Their numbers as of now are unknown but early estimates and small skirmishes put them at company size. Whats more is intelligence reports that they have located a small supply of Beskar and are attempting to covertly mine and smuggle it back to the Mandalorian sector. This can not be allowed, we are inserting a small strike team lead by the being known as The Traveler to infiltrate their base, terminate and capture any insurgents and Capture the Beskar reserve to be used by the Primeval to further our goals.

Transports are to land in the ridge line, expect heavy resistence. As well their AA emplacements are protected by the ridge and deflector shields, we need them taken down ASAP. Expect a heavy regiment to be remaining in their camp and the jungles to be thickly infested with resistence fighters.

Good luck team.

Objectives:
Primary: Secure the Beskar Mine and begin mining operations for The Prime

Secondary: Eliminate/Capture Enemy

Tertiary: Knock Out AA emplacements.

OOC: Each grid square is a 100meter square.

“ 30 seconds to drop” explosions began to rock the air as the Grey Watch anti-aircraft and flak canons began to rain death into the skies. The few strike craft that had been assigned to escort the five transports had been making precision strikes against the Grey Watch hard points but their shielding has proven to much to overcome thus far.

An explosion rocked close enough to heavily jar the transport that The Traveler was on, he only grabbed the security railing above his head and tightened his grip.

“ Attention Primeval Marines, Seekers and what ever have you that you call yourselves. We will be inserting in less then thirty seconds, we are out numbered and out gunned so focus on surgical strikes. We need to knock out their anti-air component before we can get reinforcements in. Like a plague of locust we shall descend upon them and devour their resistence, their bones will liter the battle ground for days untold. Strike swiftly, for eternity is your reward, damnation your price of failure. Strike true, deliver unto them death, make war your life blood and seek the death that most befits you. It is a good day to die”.

“ five seconds to green light!” the pilot roared. “ Five, Four, Three” a flak round exploded in the cock pit as the drop ship hovered a few meters over the LZ. “ Move, move, fast rope” The Traveler yelled into his com aray as he grabbed a soldier that had lost his balanced and shoved him towards the door. The Traveler drew his battle rifle from his back as he followed quickly before the drop ship made a hard landing on the ground and began to sputter and roll into a pile of wreckage. The Traveler had his rifle up firing at the enemy, putting punishing cover fire into the enemy positions. He and his marines were pinned at the wreckage of the crash with little cover beside the wreckage. Casualties were beginning to mount quickly.

Five-oh nodded his assent as the plan was explained. "Precision will be a must, however, the anti-air is designed for high-flaying vehicles. My specialized ascent might prove a tactical advatange," he said claly as the ship began to crash land. He was one of the last to hop out of the rollign ship, followed by a few dozen remotes, the golden orb like droids levitating about him as he picked up a blaster pistol and began firing, de-syncing his movement with the swarm of remote drones to through the mandalorians off their game.

"Nimbus formation," he said gently as the orbs began spinning around him, responsive to his whims and commands. "Maintain variable orbit speeds, keep the enemie's eye everywhere but probable attack vectors,"

He levitating, boosting his repulsor lifts upward slightly while lunging towards the squadron, firing out of the cloud. Traveler's locust metaphor held quite well, as 50H31 and his Spheres of Heaven lurched towards the enemy cover like a swarm of angry insects, a few of the orbs humming with electric charges.

This might be a good day to die, but it was a greater day to win. Five-oh jumped into the melee with the Mandalorian shock troopss, his Teras Kasi subroutines kicking in as he briefly levitating over a lunging opponent and kicked him in the back of the head. "Time to charge, fellows! The JUDGEMENT OF HEAVEN ARISES!!!"

Naga charged in with dauntless blade in one hand and a verpine shatter gun in the other hand. Normally one shot would be sufficient against most armors but given this is beskar he would have to fire twice per soldier as he was attempting to clear a path straight for the mine. He knew how powerful beskar can be and getting this ore would prove beneficial for future armor and gear... It would prove to be a lovely replacement to his durasteel armor...

OOC: Keep in mind Verpine shatter guns are exteremely powerful no matter the armor. How ever im guestimateing the amount of shots for beskar if this doesnt suffice pm me and ill fix accordingly

The other four drop ships made safe landing at the edge of the ridge, the marines piling out some of them hitting the ground dead from enemy fire. They began to move up and put supressing fire on the Gray Watch and helping lighten the load that was assaulting the downed drop ship. The Traveler looked around at the destruction of his forces, so many dead and wounded almost an entire squad.

" Medics, pull the wounded back behind the carcass of the transport." he said as he reached into the cock pit and place a finger on the neck of the pilot and copilot, already knowing the answer. " Squad three link with [member="Naga Itesak"] , Squad two support [member="50H31"]. Squad one what ever remains of you with me, we will take that ridge line and push the maggots to bay. For glory or two death, forward" he roared as he lead the charge. As his slug thrower rifle ran empty he patted himself down for his magazines, they must have been dislodged in the chaos. He threw his rifle down and drew his katana dn Wazikashi as he drew near to the ridge line. Hell followeth that which is death and eternity shall scour in cleansing flames the festering wounds of the traitorous clans.

Naga took the squad that [member="The Traveler"] has assigned to him and took it around the main battle as much as he could he was makeing his way towards the mines. He had one goal in his mind, and that was to claim this Beskar he was going to use this material in his inventions no matter how many mandos he has to kill to do it.

Five-oh nodded to [member="The Traveler"] and [member="Naga Itesak"] and stood up slowly the other troops falling in line behind him. After all, a good amount of Beskar would prove useful for his experiments. However, he would need to keep some people around here alive to help him forge it. Either hostages or information would be needed.

He considered the implications as he gave orders. "Set half of all thermal detonators to three second timers, the remainder to five," he said succinctly. "Maintain a loose perimeter and prepare to take cover. When we advance near the ridge, there will likely be bombardments," he said dryly to his colleagues as he continued the advance. "Watch your backs. Mandalorians are known to flank the unwary."

He held up his pistol to the sky. "Let Heaven see our advance, both here and across the stars." He began to move slowly, leading an advance towards the ridge, aiming for the steepest, craggiest Part. With any luck, this would work quite well.
