Hi, people of the galaxy!

Sen. Tryvge Hakon is open to connecting with his constituents (he probably won't listen to you, but it's worth a try, right?)

Sen. Hakon would like to meet with some potentially incompetent people and discuss politics within the coming weeks, cause that would look great on his social media. Do you wish The High Republic took a different approach to issues? Do you wish The High Republic smashed a Sith's face harder? This is the perfect opportunity to voice your complaints or tell us what we should keep doing, We are more than open to do threads in the coming weeks to talk about the various political issues plaguing this galaxy. Just let us know if you're intersted below.

Sincerely,
Office of Tryvge Hakon

I would encourage you to bring your grievances directly to those that are more than happy to talk things out, rather than cluttering another writer's LFG with complaints about unheard complaints.

My DMs have and always have been open to you if you want to talk. As are the other admins in THR.
I was mostly asking because the thread idea frames the Senator as someone who "probably won't listen," while also inviting people to voice complaints.

Personally, I'm not sure what I would get out of a scene where my character's concerns are already framed as unlikely to matter. I care a lot about IC weight, consequences, and follow-through, so I'm trying to understand expectations before I try to invest time into it.

Like is this meant to be a scene that can actually go somewhere, or is it more of a casual one-off conversation? The latter probably would not be a good fit for what I'm looking for.
