One Sith Dominion of Csilla

The One Sith had set their sights upon Chiss Ascendency’s resources. The new Empire had approached Kirk - seeking an ally in order to ensure the domination of the Ascendency. For days, Kirk pondered on the choice presented to him. He had been away from the Chiss for so long that he hardly remembered what it was like on Csilla and Cormit.

Eventually, Kirk pledged his support to the One Sith. He left Republic territory and arrived on Coruscant. Soon enough, he was partnered with [member="Darth Mierin"] to request an audience with Ascendency officials.

After reaching Csilla, Kirk took a shuttle down to the ice-covered planet with Darth Mierin. He had several hidden weapons on him that would be difficult to detect. The naval fleet of the One Sith would soon follow, so Kirk knew that tensions would be high. It was very likely that violence would break out during the talks.

The Four Aristocra awaited them, along with select Cabinet and Senate members. They eventually reached a surface facility meant for diplomacy - especially when the Chiss did not want to invite the incoming diplomats to their subterranean cities.

Once reaching the foyer, Kirk saw the Four Aristocra in a row. The first on the left was Thor’ona’nuruodo, core name Ronan, who was a tall, heavily built man with a crew cut. Despite being the Commander-in-Chief of the Ascendency and spending most of his time in an office discussing strategy, Ronan seemed to be a formidable force physically - rivaling the look of even the most muscular humanoid One Sith.

The second from the left was Fulle’lco’sabosen, also known as Elcosa. She was a short woman with sharp clothing and a bob haircut. Yet as the head of the judicial system of the Ascendency, she was among the most influence in regards to how the law was enforced.

The next Aristocra was Tyr’amar’csapla, known as Ramarc to outsiders. He had a balding head and very plain clothing. Yet as the head of Chiss colonization and logistics, he was vital to the growth of the Ascendency and very knowledgeable of traversing the Unknown Regions.

The final Aristocra was Mani’rell’inrokini, also known as Irelli. She sported fairly monotonous yet sharp clothing - very white. She had several doctorates in the sciences and engineering and has been pushing the new technological revolution of the Chiss.

Surrounding Kirk and Mierin were a sizable amount of Chiss guards. They were armed to the teeth and ready to kill the One Sith’s representatives should any sign of violence be shown.

Introducing himself, Kirk bowed to the Four Aristocra and said, “Thank you for having us. I am Ambassador Rytek’irk’intrano.

Then, Kirk looked to Mierin, waiting for his partner to give an introduction.

Mierin had wandered with Kirk for a while, following the young man until they reached the meeting room with the four leaders of the Chiss. She had been surprised to find that the Chiss had all looked so aliens, she had only met the man known as Kirk today, and his appearance had astounded her.

Of course she had been told of Chiss before this day, but she had expected them to be just another humanoid species with slightly red eyes and blue tinted skin. Instead what she found were glowing red eyed demons with sky blue flesh that had completely taken her aback. Despite this however, she enjoyed it. She enjoyed the difference of appearance and the sternness that the species as a whole displayed, they had a pragmatism that the Sith Pureblood found...attractive.

“Greetings, I am Darth Mierin, Hand of the Dark Lord of the Sith.” Her voice was impassive, and they seemed to appreciate that.

Chiss were often devoid of emotion, or so she had been told.

In the meantime, Daella was in the subterranean caverns of Csilla. She wore a full-face mask with tinted lenses to hide the fact that she was a human. She acted as if she was about to go to the surface, where such equipment is normal to wear, in order to avoid suspicion. Several other Chiss around her wore just the same type of attire, thus deflecting any theories that passerbys might have.

However, Daella had managed to gather a group of Chiss that had plans of overthrowing the current Aristocra. Some wanted their patron to become the Aristocra of their House. Others simply despised their policies of recent. Still, Daella waited for the signal to journey to the surface with a squad of disguised Sith and Chiss in order to raid the facility current hosting the Four Aristocra.

Frozen Wastes, Aristocra Meri'nar'csapla's estate
“We have to join the One Sith. It'll be fine. They own the space around our planet now. Its great.” Sven let out a loud sigh as he pulled his hood back over his head. His mocking tone of voice showed that he was not at all pleased with the current situation of his life.

Sable and he had joined the One Sith out of necessity, pledging their surface for the Dark Lord in order to maintain their hold over Byss, and to ensure that his people remained safe. Unluckily for him however apparently the One Sith had caught wind of who he was, or rather what his skillset was. As such, they had decided to employ their new asset in this frozen waste of a planet. The scowl beneath his mask showed that he was not at all pleased about this development.

It was true that he was an assassin, but he hated the cold.

In the former Sith Empire he had plied his craft perhaps better than any other, but that was no reason to send him all the way out here to kill one single Chiss. After all an orbital strike would have achieved the exact same purpose.

He sighed, and then slunk through the snow.

Ronan gave an audible "tick" as [member="Darth Mierin"] introduced herself. Chiss placed their rank before their name, and it showed in their speech.

Elcosa introduced herself first, "I'm Chief Justice Elcosa."

Then Ramarc said, "Head of Logistics, Ramarc."

Then Irelli gave a monotonous greeting of, "I am Technical Chief Irelli."

Finally, Ronan said, "Commander-in-Chief, Thor'ona'nuruodo."

The first three Chiss gave their core names simply because Mieren was the Sith they were going to talk to.

After the terse introductions, Ramarc then said, "Tell us what brings you forces to our orbit?"

Kirk looked over to Mierin, who would have been more qualified to answer.

Mierin waited for a moment, thinking to herself that the reason they were here was utterly obvious.

“We are here to offer you a proposition.” Mierin said her tone remaining calm and impassive. There was no need to speak emotionally to these people, no need to give them cries of pity or calls to arms about the Republic. Logic was all that reigned with the Chiss, that much she knew.

“Our Empire grows by the day. Planets, systems, entire governments join us for the betterment of their people.” She looked to teach of the Chiss in turn. “We wish to give you same offer.”

She showed no sign of emotion, never looking to [member="Rytek'irk'intrano"].

Once upon a time he had joined the Fel Imperium, they had been a force that he had respected simply because they seemed to be more of a military power than the political power that the Galactic Empire had once been. But it had soon occurred to the Chiss Captain that being on Csilla and serving the Galactic Empire was easier for him. Simply because few things ever happened there, and he would be closer to home that he would have been near the Tingel Arm.

His mindset had changed when the Galactic Republic had attacked and the Galactic Empire left the Chiss Ascendancy to it's own devices. There was little the Chiss Captain could have done except to find a reason to venture further into the Unknown Regions and battle unseen pirates and patrol the borders.

Recently however the journeys of the Chiss had brought him to the home that he had seemingly abandoned. He had soon returned to the Chiss Ascendancy, and no later than a week later the forces of the One Sith had arrived and Commander Zaruan had no other choice but to attend the meeting that was taking place.

He stood as one of the several guards that were present in the meeting.

Kirk's eyes widened just after [member="Darth Mierin"] answered the Aristocra. He knew what would happen next. Ronan gave a twitch. The rest of the Aristocra gave each other a knowing glance.

Ronan immediately replied, "I don't appreciate dramatic pauses. Explain."

He let out another sigh as he reached the crest of the hill.

There on the other side of the massive mound of ice would be the tower that Rinar called his home. He smirked slightly, even after only saying the name in his head. Sven had met quite a few Chiss in his day, and most of them hated being called by their core name. Kirk had told him that when they had both been on the Moff council in the Empire.

Smiling still, Sven unslung The Spectre from his back, letting the rifle fall into his lap as he sat in the snow. From his belt he pulled out a magazine, slapping it into the rifle and pulling the bolt into place.

Letting out another sigh of warm air into the cold the Assassin began to crawl his way up the snowy mountain.

Mierin didn't respond for a second, her bright yellow eyes shifting throughout the four Aristocra. She was far more used to dealing with more...illogical beings. She would have to school herself to be more direct with the Chiss.

“The One Sith have been rapidly expanding from the center of the Galaxy.” She explained “We have conquered world after world, but even more have joined us voluntarily.”

“Our Empire expands not through conquest, but the benefits our control provides. People prosper, corporations flourish, and production triples. We wish for Csilla and the Chiss to enjoy these same benefits, we wish for you to join us.” She had always been told the direct method was best.

In the subterranean tunnels beneath Csilla, Tsavong stretched his four arms under the cover of his dark violet cloak as the Myrshavong waited with the group. They had been tasked with the overthrowing of the current Aristocra, and Tsavong was assured their replacements would be more than favorable to the One Sith.

This meant power.

And victory.

Kirk blinked several seconds. He looked over to the Aristocra. They still seemed calm except for Ronan. Kirk wondered if Ronan really had a short fuse or if he was simply an aggressive man due to his physicality.

Elsoca, with a voice as blunt and forceful as Daella's, took over and asked [member="Darth Mierin"], "Let's start again. You say you want the Ascendency to join the One Sith, but what exactly does the One Sith want the Ascendency to do?"

[member="Tsavong Kraal"]

Glancing at a digital clock on an ice covered wall, Daella then turned to a turbolift. Looking at her comrades, she then said, "They should have started by now. Time to get into position."

Then, Daella lead the group of insurgence to travel up to the surface in order to approach the facility the Aristocra was at. This would allow them to spring an attack immediately if necessary.

“Once you join us, Csilla will become one of the Primary forge worlds of the One Sith. Your Shipyards and production facilities will provide arms and ships for our war effort against the Republic and those who oppose us.” That was the intent anyway. Csilla's shipyards would provide a place far away from the Republic where the fleets could be built, couple that with the Ascendancies arms and armor production facilities and they made the perfect factory for the Sith War Effort.

Not to mention the incredible usefulness of having Chiss agents within your ranks.

He had contemplated taking one of the earlier ships ahead of the One Sith's Fleet and join Daella Apparine and the rest of her team descending to the planet of Csilla, but a long time ago he had told the Sith Lord, Darth Mierin that he wanted to become a ship commander, to be at the ehad of the One Sith's Fleet, leading the space battles and bringing them glory.

How better to do that other than learning at the side of Admiral Drake Cregan, a new Admiral to the One Sith's cause, but he had fought several battles for the Galactic Republic before he had swapped sides after seeing the wrongness of his ways. He had made sure to assure [member="Darth Mierin"], [member="Rytek'irk'intrano"], and [member="Daella Apparine"] that the One Sith's Fleet would disable the Chiss's Fleet in a timely fashion.

Their force laid in wait just outside of Csilla's system, just out of range of it's long range sensors and awaited the order.

Aristocra Meri'nar'csapla's Estate
Well wasn't this obnoxious. Sven now lay atop the snow mound, rifle scope pressed against his mask and zoomed into the estate. Unfortunately he was quick to discover that the windows of the estate were made out of transparisteel instead of glass, meaning that even his powerful rifle would likely be unable to punch through the thick metal.

“Curse paranoia.” Sven muttered to himself as he quickly crouched within the snow.

In one smooth motion he disassembled the rifle into three pieces and slipped them onto his back once more, sighing slightly as he drew his WESTAR-43. He would have to get into the building and do this more...tactically.

The Chiss Commander wondered as to what the One Sith Organization had wanted when they had received word that they were coming. Now they had made it clear. They wanted the Ascendancy to simply give them their military power. They would've had no need of the Chiss if Csilla had no Shipyards and had no technology to boast of.

"You want our megamasers." He spoke out from his position behind and a little to the side of [member="Darth Mierin"] and [member="Rytek'irk'intrano"].

Few took notice of Prard'aln'iflar's arrival After all she was but a member of the minor houses. She strode through the door casually, her hair neatly flowing in loose dark waves of onyx down her back, her bangs a black fringe that cut across just above her eyes. Around her neck, a small black pearl necklace accented her cleavage almost as if it were a border of small ships protecting her neckline from her imposing breasts.

Tick tock. Tick tock. The mission was simple, but oh so divine. This one was longer than usual and required long term embedding. With the appropriate disguise she appeared to be a family member of the Ifar House; complete with their colors. The perfect Chiss. Now she was known and welcomed...but this was not the only one of her many disguises.

A faint smile crossed her lips as she murmured a greeting. There was a certain fire in those red orbs. She would enjoy this. In her hands, she flicked a small object through her fingers, caressing it as if it were a small stress ball. Political assassinations were apparently a real part of Chiss political life for the Ruling Families and other allied kin-groups.

This would be no different.

Finally, Kirk spoke up and told [member="Darth Mierin"], "I think they're interested in knowing what exactly it means to join the One Sith. What are our mandates and what is provided?"

"Correct," replied Irelli, "There is a cost to joining the One Sith and we are not yet sure of it. There is also a cost in not joining, as it seems right now. We are wondering in what is the most profitable choice."

Glancing at [member="Zaruan"], Irelli commented, "It's not just megamasers. There are simpler, less costly means for the One Sith if that was all they wanted."

Then turning back to Mierin, Irelli asked, "Right?"

“Correct” She said quietly and thanking Kirk with a nod.

“Our mandates, we seek only one thing and one thing alone. Order within this galaxy. We wish to unite those stuttering within the Chaos to one single faction." While the Ascendancy had progressed far technologically, even eclipsing the galaxy in some ways, they still lagged in others. "The cost of joining us, is becoming enemies of the Republic, of the Protectorate, and likely a dozen other factions. Your systems and all that you hold will remain largely untouched, you will be free to govern yourselves as long as you serve our goals. All we ask is what I stated before. In return you will receive the security our Empire provides, the trade our worlds already thrive on, and the technological advancements that we make.”
