Rhen Var. A Silver Jedi planet and therefore a more appropriate place to meet than asking the former GrandMaster to Ossus - which felt too dramatic and overbearing. Innocent until proven guilty was standard Galactic justice - but Corvus and Kian had already glimpsed one set of memories but felt it appropriate that the Jedi in question was given an ample opportunity to share his side of the story.

But share he would have to do - given what was at stake. So Corvus waited in her ship for the others to arrive. There was no point in braving the icy cold unless it was necessary.

The Jedi Master was unsure as to why he was being summoned here. There wasn't any sort of reason that he could think of. He had met Corvus once, during a visit to the Jedi Temple on one occasion. But DragonsFlame hadn't done any business with Corvus, and certainly hadn't done any business with the Republic's Jedi Order since leaving about a year ago. He was loosely affiliated with the Silver Jedi, still trying to see if it was where he should stay, and if he truly had a home there after so long spent by himself. He couldn't think of why they had summoned him here.

Rhen Var. A Silver Jedi planet. A very... Odd place to request a meeting. But he was happy about it over them summoning him to Ossus for this "very important meeting" that he was here to attend. While the cold wasn't really something he enjoyed, he didn't feel the foreboding pressure of being summoned to Ossus. He'd be fine.

The young man had arrived on the planet just a few minutes ago, but it wasn't long before he, cloaked in gear proper for the planet's climate, would make his way to the ship where he was to meet Corvus. The Jedi Master would step aboard the ship, assuming it opened for him. If not, he would simply wait outside for Corvus to meet him.

Should the doors open and allow him inside, the Jedi Master would gaze around the room, before stopping before Corvus. The Jedi Master gave a polite bow, before greeting her with a warm smile. "A pleasure to see you again, Grandmaster" Joshua would greet respectfully. "Rhen Var is an interesting place for a meeting, but I digress... How can I help you?" He would ask curiously.

Indeed, he really was curious about what Corvus could possibly want.

Kian knew very little about the former Grandmaster, Joshua DragonsFlame, but recently his name had come up in a meeting among the members of the Jedi Council and Corvus and himself had been dispatched to meet with him in regards to that meeting. Kian hadn't had much opportunity in his time as a Jedi to interact with the Jedi, who had left the Jedi Order prior to Kian's leaving Dorin. Yet, on several occasions, the two had passed like ships in the night while away from Ossus. One such time was at a banquet in which Kian had been posing as a Kel Dor Admiral in order to gain more information about the local government.

Now, however, it seemed Kian would finally get a chance to meet the Jedi in a more formal capacity. Kian settled the Shadow down a few meters away from the Raven and made his way, garbed in winter gear, toward the ship of his friend and colleague, Grandmaster Corvus Raaf. Once aboard, Kian removed his heavy winter gear, leaving himself in his typical plan robes.

"It seems I'm the last one to arrive...." Kian said smiling beneath his mask. Kian usually prided himself on his punctuality. "Hello Jedi Master DragonsFlame." Kian said bowing his head respectfully to the man. "I'm glad you agreed to meet with us."

Turning his attention toward Grandmaster Raaf, Kian bowed once more. "Grandmaster. Shall we begin?" Kian asked, leaving it to the young woman to broach the subject that was bringing them here. In a contest of who was the more diplomatic by nature, Kian's money would be on the Grandmaster.....if Kian were a betting man.
[member="Corvus Raaf"] - [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

Corvus bowed to both. She was mostly pleased she still had feeling in her extremities but she was almost as pleased she was no longer alone.

"Firstly thank you both for joining me here. The reason is best dealt with directly." Diplomacy was one thing but getting to the point was equally important if not more so. "One of the Jedi Council recently witnessed you in an intimate embrace with someone who is apparently known as a Dark Jedi. And that you were party to the execution of prisoners. If not directly then an accessory by not attempting to stop it."

"We," she indicated Kian, "Are here to ascertain the truth. We have no jurisdiction with regards the Silver Order, or the Galactic Republic itself...but you are a former GrandMaster of the Galactic Republic and as the holder of such an office, you are an example to the current Padawans and Younglings. We have a duty of care to investigate these accusations."

[member="Kian Karr"] | [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

The Jedi Master would tilt his head and raise an eyebrow when the accusation was laid that he had been spotted in an intimate embrace with a... Known Dark Jedi? Now, he wasn't entirely sure why an "intimate embrace" with a Dark Jedi would be an issue for most, considering the rumors he had heard of Jedi even MARRYING darksiders, Dark Jedi included. But... There had to be more to this if this one in particular was so much of a problem that they had to call him here for... What was it, intimate... Embrace? And being party to the execution of prisoners?

The look on the young man's face was that of obvious confusion. Off the top of his head, he couldn't fathom why they had called him here, or what "Dark Jedi" he had been intimate with. "To be quite honest, with all due respect Grandmaster... I don't have any idea what you're talking about" He would admit, scratching his head. He was still wracking his brain though, trying to figure out when he had been intimate with a Dark Jedi. The closest thing had been Sao, and she'd left that life behind before he would even engage in a relationship. And even then... She had died before he had even become a Jedi Master. That was a long time ago. Over a year and a half ago, if he wasn't mistaken. He hadn't been in any sort of relationship since. He had closed himself up, his grief had kept him from pursuing anything else of that sort. His grief had been one of the things that broke him in the end and caused him to disappear.

But this wasn't about that right now, he was having accusations levied his way that he had no clue about. He had a few "Dark Jedi" friends in the past, but that, again, was a long time ago. This was obviously a recent thing. But when? And who? His interactions with people had been sporadic and rare since returning to the fold. And when they talked of intimate embraces, it was obviously meant as more then just a simple hug. Had they simply got the wrong guy? It was a possibility, of course. But, they had singled him out in particular, out of any Jedi...

"Dark Jedi... Council Member... Prisoners..." He mumbled aloud, closing his eyes, trying to make sense of it.

"Dark Jedi.. Prisons... Council Mem-"

He stopped dead, his eyes opening wide.

"Wait a minute, I do remember... Somewhat. I recognized a Jedi from your council when I went to Effekt for diplomatic reasons, when..."

He took a deep breath. "Wait, if that's what you mean, then that means Empress Nimue is...."

Oh no.

The Jedi Master's fists shook as he would sink into the nearby chair, planting his face to his palm as he took a moment to compose himself. This was the first time he'd shown any sort of frustration, or anything outside of simple calm, or humor, to anyone in power, much less the Jedi Grandmaster. But he was more frustrated with himself then anything. How did he not sense her aura? This all could have been avoided, or at least most of it, if he'd known.

The Jedi Master took a deep breath, allowing himself to calm down a bit after the initial shock of all of this had passed. "... I guess my ability to sense Force presences is still a little rusty. But I suppose that's what I get for being gone so long" Joshua would admit with a soft chuckle, making fun of his own mistake.

The young man let out a sigh before looking at [member="Corvus Raaf"] and [member="Kian Karr"], and nodding. "Alright. I'll tell you everything. But first off, to be clear, I had no clue I was involved in any sort with a darksider. I'll take the blame for that, that was the fault of my own abilities, rusty or not. But secondly, I need an oath, a promise from both of you" He would speak calmly, though with a firmness that showed this was no joke. "What I tell you does not leave this room, does not leave this ship. It stays between us three and us three alone. And no, this isn't some stupid plea for privacy, I could care less about privacy on my personal life considering I've just been called here to answer for actions in said personal life. But while Effekt's people aren't mainly a peaceful race, there are innocents among them that would be killed, and the Jedi would pay as well. I refuse to be a catalyst for needless bloodshed, and I refuse to allow the Jedi to be dragged through the mud again because someone couldn't keep quiet. For some reason, the Effektian people are very.... Fickle, about interacting with other races. The party that both myself and your council man attended was in celebration of a victory in the Empresses favor over a civil war that broke out because said Empress was trying to make contact with other races. If this whole intimate thing leaves this room and reaches their ears... Well, there's a good chance that civil war will come again. And innocents will get caught in the crossfire. To make things worse, the Jedi would likely be blamed by the Empress for causing it, as the only one who saw any hints of intimacy between her and a Jedi was your man. And that could cause a lot of trouble. It's actually why I was so vague with your man when he questioned me" He revealed. "I didn't lie to him, either. Was just really vague. Nimue did indeed get incredibly overzealous, when honestly I'd just gone to mend ties after we had a bit of a falling out prior to the civil war breaking out. I'd wanted it to be a business relationship, as having allies in royalty is good business, but I... Don't think she got the memo. But I tried to be vague and left it at that so I wouldn't be overheard by Effektians at the party. Even Nimue knew it'd be dangerous if it got out, thus why she slapped me when she was caught"

He let out a sigh. "The prisoners... Unfortunately, they were a result of the aforementioned civil war that was started because she had held a party before to meet with people off-world, much like the one that came after the war that myself and your man attended. They were long dead and hung before either of us got there. There was nothing I could do, and I wasn't even aware of said hangings until I peeked into the gardens and nearly suffered a heart attack" He would add.

"That's your primary concerns out of the way, that and I'll be taking the information you've afforded me and will be cutting off any... Relation that's left with Nimue. Not that it would mean much, I'm pretty sure she's tired of me already" He admitted with a small smile. "But... Despite that being out of the way, if you still wish for me to explain the situation and what happened, then I will when you are ready, Grandmaster"

Kian considered [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]'s words silently. He wondered about whether or not Master DragonsFlame would have had difficulty sensing the darkness in one that would be so far gone as to slaughter innocent lives in a political dispute. Kian knew the man to be a strong force user and had once attained the rank of Grandmaster of the Order, for a time. Certainly it was possible for powerful force users to hide their darkside taint or alter their signature and investigations would likely need to be taken to determine if the Empress was one such practitioner.

"What actions did you take upon discovering the slaughter?" Kian asked. He wondered if the two had spoken about it, given their 'intimate' relationship and wondered if any resolution had been drawn. Kian and Corvus had both searched the memories of Jedi Master Ryan Korr, but when his memories ended so too did their knowledge of what had proceeded.

Kian turned toward [member="Corvus Raaf"] as he asked the question, wondering if she had any questions to add. Considering her for a moment, he mused at the fact that sometimes her features were even harder to read than his own.

Corvus listened to Master DragonsFlame's account and then Kian's question. Innocent until proven guilty was foremost in her mind - but being sure beyond reasonable doubt was also important.

Before the former GrandMaster answered Kian, Corvus added a few words. "Please be as honest and as open with us as you can. If we have any doubts. Any doubts whatsoever, then our recourse would be the same as it was with Master Korr. To investigate your memories directly. Only with your permission of course, and only for relevant purposes. But if that is what it takes to put this matter to rest once and for all, then it's an option we would strongly consider."

[member="Kian Karr"] | [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

(Sorry, muse kicked the bucket for a little while. Didn't want to give you guys a half-assed post. Back now)

If it wasn't obvious by Josh's response, he was wondering pretty much the same thing, well, not exactly, but similar. How had he not sensed it? Was it perhaps because of the sense of death in the air from the bodies just outside that clouded them? Or was he perhaps just rusty and not as adjusted to sensing the dark side as he once was? This entire situation frustrated him. Why? Why him? Why did he have to think that he'd be fine going to Zeltros, despite the fact he hadn't trained against Circe's pheromones, which were oddly similar to Zeltros' pheromones, like he had before he went into hiding? Why did he have to care so much about what would happen to people if he didn't make sacrifices, or what would possibly happen to the Jedi if he didn't? Why couldn't he have just stood firm and said no and gotten himself out of this situation before it got as bad as it did? Because now all of that had just landed him in hot water with the Jedi. No better then if he had gotten the damned Empress and her people mad. The Jedi would have brought him here to face trial and justice either way. This entire blasted thing was a bad situation, and he had sincerely hoped that it was over when he stopped being contacted by Nimue. Obviously, this wasn't the case.

It was best he just told them what he could. There was no point in lying. And he'd rather they not scan his memories anyway. Not for anything to do with this situation, but because he had never been in a situation where memory scanners only looked at what they were supposed to look at. And this was the same Order that had used his morals and values as a means to pressure him into stepping down. He was rightfully distrustful on that account.

"I'll answer what I can. First off, Master Karr-Speaking of, haven't I seen you before?" The blonde haired Jedi Master would inquire toward [member="Kian Karr"] with a curious expression. He could almost swear he'd seen him before... But where? "Ah, I suppose it doesn't matter at present, we can get acquainted later once our business is concluded" The Jedi Master would decide aloud. "But back to what I was saying... Master Karr, you asked about my actions, yes? Truthfully, there wasn't much I could do at that moment. I wasn't happy about it whatsoever, I can say that. But with the Empress's people all there, there was no benefit in causing a stir. Empress Stormson had requested a private moment elsewhere later to talk, once her... Antics, were discovered by your man at the party. I waited until then, when there was less chances of consequences, to talk about it" He would remark calmly.

"We... Had a bit of a heated argument over it. She told me that those prisoners were all rebels in this civil war that was going on, and there were customs in the old ways that these rebels were fighting for, customs that demanded executions and hangings for rebellions such as this one. Customs she claimed were the ones she was trying to steer away from, but she put them to the fate that their kind wanted and fought for. I was unhappy, of course. I didn't feel that death was the right way to go with it. I mean, at the very bloody least, she could have just locked them up and got them to calm down, try to see things her way and settle it diplomatically without bloodshed. Hell, she could have asked for my aid in settling it diplomatically, I have a history with that sort of thing. I don't generally involve myself in... Political affairs, but when lives are at stake, I afford what I can. Its why I stepped in during the Republic's war with the Fringe, just before I became Grandmaster. Politics meant very little to me. But the lives that could be spared meant something. A peaceful resolution without needless bloodshed is what I want in any situation. That's what any Jedi should shoot for, no?" The blonde would speak. "She said she didn't want to, but had to in accordance to what their customs were, and to keep them from escaping and attacking again. Quite ruthless, if you ask me, but I didn't speak past that because I'd already made things dangerously tense and continuing the subject wasn't wise. Had to change the subject to keep things from escalating, and I've learned from experience that pissing off royalty tends to result in guards rushing the room, and all that exciting stuff like activating your lightsaber and deflecting blaster bolts, and jumping out a window to conduct a daring escape to your ship while being chased by guards. Quite fun and all, but the part where you're declared an enemy of the state, barred from the planet, and then have to take months, maybe years, to try and sort things out... Yeah, that parts not so fun"

That last bit was obviously meant lightheartedly, and the Jedi Master's sense of humor shined through despite the seriousness of the situation. But then he let out a sigh. "Point is, I did what I could, Master Karr. I spoke my piece and attempted reasoning. With her possibly being a Dark Jedi though... Well, honestly it could explain a lot. And I'm still honestly disappointed I wasn't able to sense it. I'm still trying to figure out how I hadn't been able to myself. Either she's good at hiding it, or the reasonings were circumstantial, or I was just rusty. Considering I've had multiple encounters with her, the first and second ones seem more likely now that I look back" He would add, scratching his beard. "My only real regrets are not being there for the civil war to stop the bloodshed of innocents, and not being able to get out of this situation before it escalated like it did"

"And of course, speaking of which, I guess I might as well tell the story, so as not to keep the Grandmaster waiting" He spoke, with a polite smile toward [member="Corvus Raaf"]. "I was honestly hoping this whole thing would just blow over and I wouldn't have to deal with Nimue again. The whole thing was incredibly uncomfortable" He remarked, but now came time for the moment of truth. "This stays between us, I hope. You're a Jedi, I know I can trust you to be honorable and know that letting information get out could lead to more bloodshed. Neither of us want that"

"So... What happened... Well, as you know, I left the Jedi Order due to conflicts of interest, and went into a self imposed exile, cutting off most of my contacts with anyone who hadn't already abandoned me at that point, because everything that had been happening to me in those final months had rendered me a broken man. I needed to go away for a little while and... Fix myself. Start over. Clear my head and come back stronger then I was before. I spent nearly a year in exile, training, learning, reading, no attachments, no distractions. My mind and body slowly healed. On the side, I made secret excursions away from my training grounds to assist the Republic in dealing with crime rings and illegal slave rings on their planets, without them knowing. I had little encounters with the Sith, thus why my first assumption on all this was that I was rusty, before I looked back at things. This went on until the Ession Reformation found me, which after they told me the Jedi were being purged by the One Sith and they needed my help, and once I'd agreed to it, I knew that if I could be found once, I'd be found again. And next time possibly not by friendly allies. So my time there ended. I was back in the fold. After the Reformation dissolved, I found solace with the Silver Jedi. I hoped to assist their efforts against the Sith, and made it a habit to go incognito and visit planets of... Ill repute, risking myself to try and garner information. Generally, I'm pretty successful, even if it takes time and a few cantinas and establishments to do so"

"Now, with that out of the way, this is where things went south. You see, I had made a habit of training myself to resist the allure of pheromones, in order to counteract one of the primary weapons used by Sith Lord Circe Savan, otherwise known as Enigma or Jentara, or Victoria as I found out during a party I visited recently" He spoke, subtlety revealing Circe's newest secret identity to the Jedi Order. The smallest of smiles crossed his lips after he said that last bit, perhaps an indication of it. Circe was a master of deceit and backstabbing people, including Joshua. Destroying his family was another thing on her list. If he wasn't able to find her to garner his own revenge, perhaps another Jedi would be able to find her during her Victoria disguise. If he could control the radius of the memories they saw, perhaps he would allow Corvus to scan the memories of that party... Not Nimue's, but the one with the Duchess who he was pretty sure was involved with the One Sith, as were many of the partygoers. Being able to identify another of Circe's disguises, especially her newest one, would benefit the Jedi in some fashion. He didn't care who did it, after all, someone needed to take care of Savan before she caused more pain and suffering. If someone didn't... Then perhaps he would.

"So when I went to Zeltros with a few Jedi and the at-the-time Supreme Chancellor, for reasons that... Honestly, even I don't understand fully. As far as I know, we were there as bodyguards for Chancellor Harkness, which was a weird thing to ask of the Grandmaster, two Masters, and a Knight, but I'm pretty sure he brought us there for the sake of getting to watch the Jedi succumb to pheromones, be less stiff and have fun"

"... And marry one of the Masters he had his eye on while she was drunk and pheromone drunk to boot. Which he did" He remarked, sounding a bit disgusted by the idea. "Turns out there's pheromones in the air all over the place in Zeltros, which... Was bad. In the end, because of my training, I unintentionally ended up being the only one who didn't succumb, leaving me the one to bail the other Jedi and the Supreme Chancellor out of the messes they had gotten themselves into. Of course, this story has a point. I realized I could go to Zeltros, which is known for its dirty deeds and information trades in the midst of its partying, without risk of succumbing. I ended up visiting after I joined the Silver Jedi, hoping to gather information on a lead I had found on a slave encampment led by a Sith Lord residing in the One Sith. Unfortunately, what I didn't realize was that as I had stopped the pheromone training during my exile, as I felt I didn't need it and would be fine, I'd ended up out of practice and... Yeah. You guessed it. The pheromones and the drinks spiked with them eventually got me. Empress Nimue Stormson, who I'd met prior on a party held by her at her planet to let her people get to know other races outside of them and I had gone there to establish friendly impressions as a Jedi, recognized me while I was eavesdropping on a convincing lead. I don't remember a whole lot from there, but I know that the pheromones rapidly drained my senses, and before I blacked out, the last thing I saw was Empress Stormson dragging me toward a private room for... I don't even think I want to know"

The blonde haired Jedi let out a sigh as he shook his head. "Not my best moment. That set off everything, because I'd made a mistake. That mistake has since been rectified, of course. I've resumed that part of my training, it won't get me again. But the next thing I remember is being back on my ship which was flying away from Zeltros. Nimue contacted me later, as she remembered more then I did, and after a meeting, we had a falling out. I figured that was the end of it" He revealed. "Then the civil war happened, because of her trying to establish contact with other races and many of her people not wanting that due to their old ways that I mentioned earlier. After that war had been won on her end, a party was held to resume contact with other races, same as before. I attended, hoping that I'd be able to smooth things over and keep a business relationship, and have an ally in royalty and a future ally in Effekt that might be able to assist the Silver Jedi in future. Of course, Nimue requested a meeting away from the crowds, and as your man can probably tell you, she uh... Wasn't exactly on the same page as me on that. I wanted a business relationship, and she wanted a more intimate one. I didn't lie to your man, as I said. She did actually get overzealous and jump on me, turning a friendly hug into... Yeah. This was where things got complicated. I couldn't tell anyone what was going on because if it got out, the few people she'd managed to get to see her way would likely cause another civil war if they saw their Empress being intimate with someone not of their race. And I couldn't really refuse her advances as, as your man also saw, she can easily make the situation look like something its not, to get her way. It wouldn't be hard for her to pretend I'd jumped on her, and have her people cause the Jedi serious trouble, both the Jedi Order and the Silver Jedi. As she couldn't tell the difference between myself and Master Ryan, that says it all there. So... I ended up in an awkward situation, and rolled with it until I could think of something, for the sake of protecting both the innocents of their race, as well as the Jedi. It was a sacrifice I didn't want to make, but I couldn't see any other choice. Figured I might be able to find a way out with no bloodshed later"

"So as you know, your man witnessed it, though I'm surprised he didn't notice the awkward and uncomfortable look on my face that Nimue seemed to be too overzealous to notice herself. Once she realized she'd been spotted, she slapped me to make it look like I'd gotten too friendly with her and left, with a subtle note to me just beforehand to stay at the party after it was over. Your councilman confronted me, and while I didn't lie to him, I was intentionally vague in order to make sure that no harmful information got out, and nobody would overhear me. To me, it was the best thing I could do for the moment"

The Jedi took a breath. "I went to the gardens to grab some air, and that's when I saw... Yeah.... The bodies. I felt sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe that'd done that, and left them there as an example. I didn't stay long, the whole thing had left me sick and uncomfortable, and I returned to my ship to wait out the rest of the party. Afterword, I met Nimue where I was supposed to, and after our argument that I mentioned, I was pushed into another... Situation, that I really don't want to detail. After the fact, there was relationship talk, but it was made obvious on her end that it was meant to be nothing but an intimate thing, nothing more. I did offer for her to accompany me the next time I tried to deal with slave traders, without giving her any details on my next plans, and she was up for it. Of course, she never got back to me on it, but most likely, if she had, I would have found out about her force affinity and her dark side aura there, in the line of combat"

"In the end, it seems she's grown tired of me. There has been no contact since, and honestly, I sort of hope it stays that way. This entire things been a bad situation, and I was content to finally have my way out without bloodshed to anyone, until you called me here" The Jedi Master added, moving some hair from his face. He noted he'd been twirling stands of his hair throughout the entire exchange, a habit he had when he was experiencing stress. This entire thing had been nothing but stress, and reliving it was all the same.

"I have no intentions of working with her now, after all that, especially now that I know she's most likely a darksider" He would add. "That's all the information I have, Grandmaster Raaf, Master Karr. But I do have a question" He spoke, looking straight at Corvus. "One things been worrying me ever since you said she was likely a darksider. Do you have a medical droid on board? One that could examine me for poisons of any kind? I haven't felt anything of the sort since the encounter, but if its a subtle one, its best I look as soon as possible and get treated if necessary" He would speak, his tone and expression dead serious. He wouldn't put it past a dark jedi to poison him after all this. She had plenty of opportunity.

Kian turned to Corvus. "I'm sure Grandmaster Raaf has a medical droid on board that could look at you." Kian said smiling beneath his mask. "If not, I can bring over one from The Shadow," Kian offered. He kept a single medical droid in the medical hold of the ship.....just in case.

"Thank you for sharing all of this with us." Kian said, knowing it was likely difficult to speak of things from the distant and more recent past, but it was vital information that the Jedi needed.

"I do have a follow up question though." Kian said raising a hand. "Did you put any consideration into taking it further than just a 'heated argument' with the Empress?" Kian asked, no judgement in his voice, just curiosity. "Perhaps bringing the war crimes before the Senate, The Jedi Order or the Silver Jedi Order?"

"As for looking familiar.....I do believe we've met on occasion." Kian said bowing his head to the Jedi Master. "I'm often at Ossus and attended a ball that you were at not long ago.....though I was wearing the uniform of a Kel Dor Admiral."

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] - [member="Corvus Raaf"]

Corvus did not want to overload the Jedi Master with questions, so she allowed the current ones posed by Kian to take their course. But she did add that, indeed, there was a med-bay on her ship that had all the necessary equipment that could be used once the conversation had drawn to a conclusion.

[member="Kian Karr"] | [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]

The Jedi Master would nod in thanks to the both of them once the medical droid situation was taken care of. He would be using it, of course, as soon as they were finished. This entire thing with Nimue being a dark Jedi had brought about a few worries, and he at the very least hoped that this whole engagement was merely due to Nimue's... Rather erratic behaviorisms then any attempts to take down a Jedi. It was a good precaution, now that he knew, to get checked for poisons as soon as he possibly could. Granted, if there were poisons, a part of him heavily considered taking action if so. Although from the question that Master Karr brought about then and there, it was clear that if Nimue had obviously attempted to assassinate a Jedi via poison, he may not be alone in seeking justice.

He would turn to [member="Kian Karr"] then to answer the question properly. "I did consider, yes" He would admit with a curt nod. "I almost did, but thought everything over before I alerted the Silvers that I could be making a mistake. The Effektian people, by what I've seen are... Complicated in their culture, and as I said earlier they had strange traditions in terms of civil war and their justice system, traditions that were a factor in said civil war. I realized that it was very likely I would be alienating the very people that I was hoping to bring justice for, trying to interfere with things that would end up defiling the very traditions they hold dear. So I didn't, not until I saw a clear reason to without causing serious issues that go far beyond just me as an individual" He explained. "More or less, politics are incredibly complicated and this is why I'm a Jedi and not a Senator" He added with a small, but solemn smile. An attempt to try and lighten the mood at least a little bit. "I decided to leave it alone for the time being. I just didn't know if somewhere in their complicated politics, trying to do something about what Nimue did in terms of their justice system would more or less piss off the very people I was trying to help. It seemed like it would be, going off the information I was given"

"Of course...." He trailed off. "If you wish to investigate into the matter further, feel free. I'd appreciate it as well, and I'd assist in any way I can, though any information on the matter that I have, I've already given you" The Jedi Master would add, obviously a little upset about the fact that he couldn't do anything about the whole hanging deal without serious risk of getting into something he wasn't expecting by accident and doing more harm then good. He had to admit that he felt a little useless, not being able to bring justice for those people. This was a familiar feeling, actually, one he experienced quite often under the reign of Grandmaster Halcyon. Overcoming that and taking charge of the situation was something he was at times proud of, but at the same time, he felt he was just doing his job.

A smile crossed his face as he traced what Master Karr had said about being at a ball, dressed as an admiral... And he chuckled then as he recognized him straight away. "I knew I'd seen you somewhere" He spoke amusedly. And then he realized something, and scratched his head in embarrassment. "So you saw all that commotion, then. I'm not generally a fan of making a scene" He joked light-heartedly. He was referring to, of course, that particular ball that the Master had brought up, where Master DragonsFlame had taken a blaster shot in place of one of the Jedi Order's young Padawans.

"Is there anymore questions you have for me?" The Jedi Master would ask curiously.
