Noting how Aloy stiffened under his and Kovhorns words, Adenn could wager a guess as to what she was thinking. Snorting quietly as he received a response, Adenn noted the neutral tone and responded in Mando'a.
"Then you'll survive, good. But preparedness for battle and knowing when to avoid it and talk of it are very different things." Turning his head to give Aloy and Darsch a stare, Adenn added an edge of challenge to his voice, voicing his feelings clearly, unlike Aloy. "Know the difference and you'll go far, don't and you'll die an early death to those who were supposed to be allies. Remember that, so we don't copy past failures, but rather create future successes. After all, that future lies with the new."

His peace said, Adenn returned his attention towards their guide. For whatever reason, he felt his full age and then some today, he felt every ache, loss, and pain. It made for a rather annoyed Alor, one that had little patience. As he received a response, Adenn was infinitely thankful for his helmet, and those of his allies by his side. Otherwise they all would've seen him rolling his eyes, and considering the situation, that just wouldn't do. He knew why their leader had laid claim to the title of Mand'alor, it was a sign of strength and power, something they no doubt needed here.

As such, Adenn simply nodded in return. Anything he said now wouldn't be seen in a positive light, particularly since he would've simply called their "Mand'alor" an Alor, the fitting and true title. Upon receiving the advice of this Sola Wessiri, Adenn nodded again.
"If that's relatively close, we can make our way there quickly. Though if it's further away, perhaps out jetpacks and/or repulsors would suffice instead?"

It was phrased politely, a question and request in one. After all, they were indeed outsiders, but they were also practical, and the sooner they arrived, the sooner they could talk.

Seeing that things might not take a turn to violence, River relaxed the grip on her pistol, and ran a hand across her helmet. They weren't all out to kill people after all, thankfully. Hearing the name Mand'alor being spoken it triggered some red flags for the Kryze member, though River wasn't through on Mandalorain culture, she knew what a Mand'alor was. Kreslin was their Mand'alor, and yet, these people claimed to have their own? Yea, there was a communication issue here, and if River knew Mandalorians, Kreslin was probably going to have to kill the other 'Mand'alor'; because she found the chances of the other leader bowing out to be rather...anti-Mandalorian. If nothing else, she rather liked the title of Paladin, it sounded pretty catchy; though she doubted anyone else would be down with it. The statement about traveling on foot struck her as odd too, as her experience with primitive peoples typically involved some sort of trial. It was possible marching up to see the Mand'alor would be some sort of trial, which meant floating up there with jetpacks would be frowned upon.

Hearing Aloy call to her, River raised an eyebrow at the request, but would give the young woman her attention, moving to be closer to her. She was rather fond of the Vizsla, after all, if not for Aloy she might have been killed on Endor. Not to mention the girl had spunk, and River respected that. "Oya, I got your back Aloy. You and your special lady friend." 'Omar' mused, finally using that 'oya' word that she remembered her husband was so fond of. Giving a quick glance to Adenn as he inquired about moving faster to the destination. "We might be seen as being disrespectful. If someone came flying through your roof with a jetpack, serving them a bottle of spotchka wouldn't be the first thing on your mind." River's explanation seemed logical to her, but then again she wasn't a warrior, so she was expecting someone to try and argue the point with her.

Sola blinked in confusion as Adenn Kyramud Adenn Kyramud mentioned jetpacks and repulsors. It was asthough he was speaking another language for she had not heard those words before. "If you mean by caravan or cart, then that might quicken your pace a little. But you must give the Mandalorians time to prepare for your arrival. If you enter Mewspier before your message does, then....well, it's safe to say that there wouldn't be a very warm welcome." One doesn't want to disrespect the Mandalorians. Only death awaits those that do.

She approached one of the Vossport City Guards and asked for a quill, inkwell and small parchment. Though when she spoke, her words were solely to the Outsiders. "How many of you are there? And please tell me your names once more so that I can write them down. The more information given ahead of time, the less danger for you."

<"I know, Mortui. I know. They used to call me "Johayc"(Spoken). And with good reason."> Her tone was civil, But annoyed. She didn't care whether he was older or whether he'd seen more battles. She tried to clarify on behalf of a friend and was being treated like she'd never met with outsiders before. He may have seen more battles than her, But she had negotiated more deals than he had lived years in the decade she'd been away from her fellow mandalorians. Quite frankly, This was insulting.

River on the other hand, Who was near the Mortui's age, Had spoken some wisdom. Laced with sarcasm of course, Getting a quick chuckle out of the Vizsla second in command.

<"Kryze is right. If the Mand'alor is truly here to Talk, Than we must take every measure to be respectful to these people. Maybe we can trade for animals with the locals?">
She says over her shoulder just loud enough for her vod to hear.

Sola's words however caused her to turn back, Paying close attention. She didn't like giving away information like that, Specifically their numbers. So that at least, She would leave to her Mand'alor.

Taking a step forward past her brethren but still a respectful distance behind the Mand'alor, She bows her head slightly to the leather clad woman, Beating a single fist over her beskar-clad heart as she spoke, A sign of respect in many warrior cultures.

<"I am Aloy of Clan Vizsla."> She says in basic before stepping back in line with the others.

<"As I said, We should be respectful.">

Adenn Kyramud Adenn Kyramud further warned about the view of the local mandalorians. Whether or not they had high enough technology wasn't enough of a judgement to go off of. They were still mandalorians and they were likely used to living in this place, they were on home turf. He heard Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla response to their criticism. "Better safe than sorry." he responded simply. He had no experience with them to believe or disbelieve her on that matter. Way he saw it, better to warn against brashness than assume they knew better.

Introductions, or entrances was a better word, were made by Kreslin Westwind Kreslin Westwind , Adenn, and Venku Bralor Venku Bralor who referred to them as a hidden clan. He smiled slightly. He wasn't sure they'd consider themselves such, then again, he didn't know why they'd come here. So it was definitely possible hidden was the right word.

Sola Wessiri gave her response. Her name, as well as saying that they should not go in too quickly. She'd give them warning. He wasn't certain of he liked that or not. They may be Mandalorians, but that was the thing, they were warriors. And used to battle. They could treat it just like anything else, and prepare an ambush. He'd just heard a similar reaction about things, but these people didn't know anything about them. They may be even more wary about dealing with them while they were still armed.

Adenn suggested they arrive by jetpack, which was fine with Kovhorn. Yeah his legs could carry the weight. But jetpack was the simpler option if it was indeed nearby. He grunted in agreement to River Kryze River Kryze comment about a reaction to flying in. Sola had warned about them coming in, though she seemed to be a bit confused about the method, it seemed these people's technology level hadn't even managed basic flight. Which was very odd...as well as concerning. In order for that to happen to the point she didn't understand what they meant, the mandalorians would have had to have gone backwards technologically he assumed. He had heard Tusken Raiders had a similar situation. But why would any mandalorian do that of their own accord, unless it was due to external reasons. "I'm wondering if this world bares some similarity to Haruun_Kal, at least in effects. Technology has issues, it'd explain why they've gone in the wrong direction." he said quietly mainly over the comms. It could pose some issues if it happened fast, or took time.

The woman asked for names of the rest, and their numbers. It was not his job to give numbers, but he gave his name, "Nox Kovhorn of Clan Mortui."

Sola copied Aloy Vizsla Aloy Vizsla as she gave her name, writing it down on the parchment. She wrote down the names of the others that had given them earlier, Kreslin Westwind Kreslin Westwind among them. Kovhorn Kovhorn 's name was jotted down as well, which was soon followed by the others. Satisfied, she rolled it up and gave it to the Vossport City Guardsman. "You know what to do. Be swift." He gave a curt nod and then turn and ran from the group, heading back to Vossport. His task was simple, to take the scroll to the Message Tower and had it attached to one of the birds which would fly it swiftly to Mewspier. There the Mandalorians would not be caught by surprise by the incoming visitors. And it was to ensure that Rhuth O'ti would be there.

"You will be expected at Mewspier by sundown. Follow the coast line and head Northwest over the hill. Once on the other side, move inland and head north. You should see the trail easily enough. Mewspier is the only settlement in the area and if you see smoke, you'll know that you're close. You'll find the longhouses just off the river's edge, yet it's the largest one where you'll meet with the Mand'Alor. Good journey's." Sola wasn't one for big speeches, yet these were instructions, so it was a little different. She turned and started to leave, pausing for a moment to add in one more detail. "Oh, and you might want to secure your sky ship. Or better yet, keep it guarded. The hull plating alone was valuable for it could be used for a variety of things. It just wasn't Sola's or the VCG's job to look after it. They had other concerns.

Feel free to time-skip to entering the longhouse in Mewspier.

Hearing Aloy's response, Adenn noted her annoyance. Sighing to himself, Adenn realized how is tone may come across as. Shaking his head, Adenn responded.
"Then it's good we'll get to see your skill this day." Turning his head to face Aloy once more, Adenn continued. "I meant no disrespect vode, I've simply seen failure too often at the hand of overzealousness."

Turning back to Sola, Adenn found himself grinning beneath his helmet. Pointing towards the jetpack on his back, Adenn spoke up to her.
"This here's a jetpack, essentially it allows me to fly. With mine, I can fly about the same speed as our ship here."

Switching back to Mando'a, Adenn responded to River, some amusement evident.
"Wasn't planning on entering the base, but getting to the entrance with some sort of speed. That said, seems like even that would be seen like magic, so walking or cart it is." Returning his attention to Sola, Adenn told her his own name. "Alor Kyramud, of Clan Mortui."

As for the numbers aspect, Adenn never gave those numbers up. It wasn't his place and he didn't trust others that way, at least not those outside the clan or very, very close allies. Turning to Kreslin, Adenn offered up another suggestion as well, speaking Mando'a.
"We can send the ship back up into orbit, then if we need it, just recall it to pick us up."

Birds travelled fast. Much quicker than those on foot or cart. They didn't have to worry about following trails or crossing different terrains. All they had to do was go in a straight line. The bird carrying the message from Vossport to Mewspier travelled the distance in an hour, landing in the small tower where all long distance communications were made. Food awaited it there, a reward for succeeding in it's mission.

Qui're gently stroked the bird under it's chin while removing the parchment that was bound to it's leg by a strip of leather. He then took it over to the window to read it. A frown appeared beneath his helmet while he rolled up the parchment and took it with him to the large longhouse where the Mand'alor resided.

Rhuth sat in her corner as she always did, sharpening her war axe with a wet stone while she listened to the arriving Mandalorian Clans share their stories around the fire pit. The changing of the seasons was here. Winter was coming, and that brought every Mandalorian back to Mewspier. Weapons were reforged, armour was repaired or remade, and the foodstores were stocked and accounted for so that no one would go hungry. Each Clan was different with their own views on life, yet it was in the winter months that they stood together as one. And that time was coming again soon.

She paused in the sharpening of her blade as Qui're approached, bringing his fist to his chest before holding out the parchment. "I bring news from Vossport. Outsiders are on their way. And they are said to be ...Mandalorian."

Her immediate reaction wasn't seen. Rhuth was often quiet, keeping most of her thoughts and emotions to herself. She had no confidants, only the Alors to offer their advice and council.

She took the parchment and unrolled it, reading the news for herself. After a moment of silence, she handed Qui're the parchment. "Winter brings all the Clans to Mewspier. Give the news to the Alors that have already arrived and have them be prepared for all outcomes."

He retook the parchment and bowed his head before leaving the longhouse to alert the Clans. Outsiders were coming if the parchment was to be believed. Yet it could very well be a trick of the Lucites and Warlords. Everyone knew the tales of the viruses that had killed off pretty much all life in the Galaxy centuries ago. All that remained resided on Weik. Or so the story goes.

Now was the time to see just how much of that was true.

Kreslin nodded briefly at the words of Sola Wessiri and turned back to his landing party. "Darsch will remain with the ship and a few of your warriors. Ensure that it remains safe, and be ready for any...unexpected calls. The rest of you, gather what supplies you will need. If these people came make the journey on foot, then so can we. No need to upset the natural way of things here." Kreslin turned to look back at Sola for a brief moment, his mind thinking through all the possibilities before he gave a small shrug.

"We shall go meet with...the Mand'alor."

Aloy would remain silent for the majority of the trip unless approached. The previous conversation was off putting, Albeit finally at an end. But even more off putting was the separation from Darsch Vizsla yet again. No matter what she did, The two lovers never seemed to spend time together, Not anymore. While outwardly they seemed like healthy partners, Inwardly she knew something was wrong, And that Darsch was troubled by something that she refused to share with Aloy. Her alor had spent many a night staring out the window in deep thought whenever she believed Aloy was asleep. She knew the cause... EllieEx EllieEx , The woman that had taken Darsch from her years ago... Even in death, The queen of krieg had stolen darsch away from her... And worse yet, She knew that one day soon her time with Tan'yill Vizsla Tan'yill Vizsla would come to light. It was likely to be the end of their relationship, And she hated every second of this.

sigh∗ She let's out a long sigh while tilting her head up, Looking at the clear, Unpolluted skies above her. There green fields for miles, No loud airspeeders or hover traffic, A perfectly calm and peaceful place. And yet he couldn't enjoy even a moment of it, as her heart was at war with itself.

For just a moment, It was just her lost in thought as her vision drifted over the dull white clouds above her, Reflecting gently off her skeletal visor, Right until-

∗Snap∗ Her right leg suddenly gives out, Going completely limp as she falls face first, Her visor suddenly blocked by the gras. Wordlessly, She sits herself up, Taking off her helmet, Which failed to report the malfunction of her leg, Which was unusual. After a moment, She pulled the boot off of her cybernetic right leg, Letting the metallic claws drop gently against the soil, Though they remained limp, Entirely unresponsive.

"Chit... Nononononono"
If her prosthetic had failed her, Her helmet was malfunctioning, Does that mean... Is her neural chip failing her? That meant her hormone balancer could potentially fail if they were here for too long... It meant she no longer had control over her suit, Or even translator wired to her brain.

"Hey! I could use a hand over here!" She calls out to her vode, Cupping her leather clad hands around her mouth.

Time passed. And during that time the Alors were notified of Mandalorian Outsiders arriving to Mewspier. For some it was exciting news, yet for others it signaled change and danger. Were they a threat? Or were they allies? Either way it would all be decided soon.

Rhuth had taken that time to sharpen her hatchet well. At times some of the Mandalorians came to her with questions on what she was going to do, yet as always, she didn't reveal much. "They will be tested as all are." A blanketed statement to be sure. Every Mandalorian was tested on Weik, yet for various reasons. One thing was for certain, however; there was going to be a lot of interested witnesses for this one.
