One billion dollar bounty.

One Billion is overly excessive. Some of the biggest and most ruthless criminals in this galaxy have gotten bounties, and the biggest was I believe around 50,000,000c, 5% of a billion. I'm talking about people who ruled Sith Empires and Criminal Syndicates that spanned many sectors, crushing everyone in their path.
Why would your character be worth 1 billion? Why would someone throw away that much just for the satisfaction of this persons death? When they could easily place a much cheaper bounty for the same outcome?

My other character, Lysle of the Hydian Way, was responsible for curb-stomping and crushing the Black Sun Syndicate. A Syndicate that had lasted for thousands of years. Lysle's bounty? A couple million.
This character would have to do something truly cruel and spectacular for one billion, or anger a very stupid rich person. I feel like a lot of people earn these big bounties on them, it's no fun when someone is simply designed for a big bounty.

I and other people found it fun to help create this character. It'll be a few months - maybe even a few years to get all the added up bounties that high. That's the fun in it. If you don't like it or don't want to participate that's fine, but it's one of my goals for this site.

Yeah I concur with some of the above statements, if your going to go through with this your really going to need either substantial reasons or to do something substantial IC. Some of the most infamous, ruthless, and sadistic Sith Lords on the board who have committed intergalactic genocide with a laundry list of despicable crimes top out at like 100 or so million, I know [member="Darth Vornskr"] tops out at 155,000,000 credits.
It just needs some more refinement I think.

I was simply saying that the concept could develop into something good with some more refinement, and gave some thought based on the bounties so far. To be honest it wouldn't really take much, just anger the right people like the Hutts or some other rich individual enough and you'll get an astronomically high bounty. Theres more than a few Corporate Magnates on this site who could certainly fork up that amount of money.

Problem is, some factions/people will just kill you themselves, and not post a bounty. Sounds like a fun idea, but maybe lower your goals for the eventual bounty. Still though, have fun.
