The World of Olstyn, now under the banner of the Iron Empire yet home to two peoples at odds with one another, a rivalry that those of Iron would long struggle to mediate between; this world was nowadays home to both the Valkyri and Mandalorian; they of whom had come to blows on many of occasions, unclear of whom had been the first to initiate this long time grievance that now stood on unstable terms of peace, a diplomatic overlay of which had come at the behest of [member="Thyrian Hearthfire"] and [member="Thurion Heavenshield"], to the Emperor of Iron, [member="Isamu Baelor"] and his people.

Before coming to this world, Ylva Solveig had been little more than a Nomadic Wilder, a vegabond who had more or less fallen into the path of [member="Théodred Heavenshield"] and his Iron Legionaries; Nirauan had been their first run-in with one another, her home and hunting grounds for which he had disturbed yet the two had rubbed each other the wrong way and started things off with a clash of personalities, his rogue charm and her pride and refusal to fall prey to the outside galaxy; only to find that when he had left, she found want to explore beyond the world she had spent the entirety of her twenty odd years of life upon.

Now, approved by those within the Iron Empire and those of the Valkyri here on Olstyn, Ylva Solveig had been named Warden of this world. A Position of which gave her notable presence among Théo's people and perhaps even reason for his family to take notice of her. The Position of Warden was not one of Government nor military however, not should the individual decline these privileges; instead she acted as a Mercenary of sorts. Should the people come to her in times of need, she would help to ensure they were met with their fill while too representing the Iron Empire in the best of ways for the sake of Théodred's claims that theirs were desires of high morale for the territories surrounding their capital world. Here upon Olstyn there were no shortage of concerns and troubles that might prop up from day to day.

The Wilds were once such example that demanded respect. The lands of Olstyn rather similar to Midvinter teamed with game, predators and docile creatures alike. Were it not for the criminal groups that sought to take advantage of tradesmen walking the long roads between settlements, it might have been the perfect day to roam in open leisure. Sadly, her attire had already been bloodied...

Ylva walked the woodlands, her face dirtied and the fur of her exterior coat mangled with the life of a lesser man. These bandits were beginning to get cocky, bordering ever closer to the villages for which were usually fairly well guarded. Whether Valkyri nor Mandalorian, each settlement had met with it's fair share of confrontations and this world was not the making of grand technologies nor weapons of mass power, there was a humbled yet vulnerable atmosphere about the people who treated the wild course of nature with an almost mythical respect and an attitude upon life which relied upon the Gods for guidance.

With the Sun showering down upon the land, high within the sky at a midday flight, Ylva found herself slowing to enjoy the scenery around her. The excitement of battle had died down now, having left the last troublemakers dead in a ditch, a new piece of jewelry to mark the proof for which she would come for the bounty in the nearby village of Ashenborough, the cool breeze of the autumn wind lapped up against her face and reminded her to take a breather, to pace herself and listen to the wonder that was the natural world she could call a home away from home.
