Once More with Feeling (Need Master)

Azlyn had been curious and in the end.... sometimes her impulses always won out. A character defect maybe or something that made sure she was always on her toes it was hard to decide in the end and there was bound to be plenty more as the time went on. She fully expected to be waiting to hear from her cousins and sisters about her decisions. Her need to not be like them and her dis interest in being a traditional one.

SO she had followed the rumors down into the south of the galaxy and been hearing more about the movement down there... It had sounded fun. Something she could do to be different and something she could do to make sure she had enjoyment or that thrill of a fight and see about learning other things that she could adopt within her own mandalorian skills. "Well now this is a fine place to be."

Crystal chuckled out loud, seemingly having appeared from nowhere behind Azlyn.

"Well, it doesn't suck." The Princess moved so that the woman could see her. "I suppose you've come to worship Hali and indulge yourself, hmm?" That was typically what people did in this temple from what she'd witnessed in her short time.

Hali seemed the most suited to her personality, indulgent and in search of fun. Crystal certainly needed it after 400 years serving as her family's guardian.

"Or perhaps, not." She eyed the woman, but was not unfriendly or hostile.

There was a time she she cursed her senses, the same things that made her people.. interesting also damaged her. The little to no empathy but the albino had pheromones that worked. With the jolt of surprise she slipped on the control of them and released some into the air as the scent of jasmine and rain came to her nostrils. Not sure about others but she spoke spinning around.

"I do not know? I know how to indulge but only with the right people. My people love to indulge, all zeltrons look for a reason to party."

If that was the purpose of this place then she might have found something worthwhile and fun. Hell she was already enjoying the thought but she wasn't sure about.. worship. "But this name, Hali? Who is it?"

Crystal smiled. The Zeltron woman before her was in the same position she had been in not so very long ago. "Well, I think you will definitely find what you seek here. But first, you have to go through the not so fun stuff..."

The Sith Princess trailed off for a moment, and gestured in the direction of the Temple. "Hali is one of the Gods worshiped at this Temple. Well, perhaps worshiped is too strong a term. Celebrated might be more accurate."

Then, she looked back at the Zeltron and offered a smile. "If you can endure a few days of chaos, and overload of information, you'll fit in nicely around here."

Azlyn spread her arms out wide at that mention, there was plenty she could withstand and she was well liking this idea more and more or at least not bothered by it. A few days wasn't so bad in a place compared to wandering around and at worst she could say it wasn't for her. It wasn't like some groups she had seen where service for life was a dangerous thing. "A little chaos can be a very very fun thing. Lead the way and I'll listen to the speel."

Crystal grinned. "You won't be sorry." She actually grabbed the Zeltron's hand and tugged her toward the Temple. "I'm Crystal by the way." And off she went, skipping all the way to the Temple. She was in a surprisingly good mood. One would never know that she was capable of ripping the skin off a being if the mood struck her. Smiling was good. Skipping, well silly, but good.

When they reached the entrance, she would note a number of different beings wearing different robes signifying the different Gods worshipped in the Temple. Crystal hadn't known anything about them when she arrived, so she didn't expect that the Zeltron woman would either. Her eyes glanced around for a handy helper greeter and she was delighted to find one.

The Sith Princess approached him, and nodded to the Zeltron woman. "Another arrival! Please take good care of her." With that, she smiled, waved and left the woman to be toured around.

Azlyn gave a nod and was going off at that while she moved and smirked. This one was strange and she didn't need empathy to guess that part. From her mannerism's she seemed more then happy and friendly but from experience that could just make her more of a predator able to really strike and kill. The name though was nice and gave her something to call her while she spoke and was takig in the sights of the temple. "I am Azlyn."

Then she was being handed off and wondering about more questions while the albino took it all in and gave a nod. No she didn't think she would be sorry in this endeavor if anything she might enjoy it far more but would have to do major research first, know and cover all of her bases and that was what the greeter wa there for as she offered a smile and moved a bang away from her face. "Thank you, so I guess start from the beginning."

A few days later.... in the mess hall.

Crystal was indulging her sweet tooth in the mess hall of the Temple. The Princess did love her chocolate. And at the present moment, she didn't have any pressing matters to attend to, other than the brief chocolate affair.

She also enjoyed sitting in the mess hall, because everyone, God or not, had to eat at some point. That meant that she would see them, since she happened to be where the food was. Idly, she spun her fork as she chewed. Those close enough would note that her hand was not touching the fork as it spun. It was hardly a noteworthy trick to the Sith Princess anymore, but rather a way of keeping her senses sharp. She could be very lazy at times when little effort was required to obtain what she needed.

The past few days had been something... Interesting and almost repetitive but that was a small part of the family. Her family, she had learned that the interesting way compared to some. The force whispering and much like her sister able to recall everything she did the same. That was why when the people were done speaking and she was able to come out to talk going into the mess hall for a moment the information processing was strange.

The sight though of the woman who she had met though wasn't and she was glad to see her, a familiar face made everything better in the long run. The albino sat down with a smile while she looked at the sweets and held an apple for herself. "That was most informative and interesting. Got to admit I did not think there was that much happening."

Crystal nodded "It was almost overwhelming at times, but it's an accomplishment to have survived don't you think?"

She offered the woman the sweets. "Want one?"

Now that the two were comfortable and at least somewhat familiar socially, it was much easier for her to assess the Zeltron woman. It was interesting to encounter a Zeltron again after so many years. She'd nearly forgotten their talents. The woman in front of her was indeed talented.

[[been sick sorry]]

Azlyn gave a nod of her head at the food sitting there. "Yes please." With a smile she looked over the other woman and had to admit, it had only been a little overwhelming but she followed for the most part. The rest she would be able to learn and really get into with time but discovering things was half the fun of it all which she had been learning. "Thank you." Her hand took one of the sweets and offering a bow of her head. "So where should we begin?"

Crystal waited for the Zeltron to take one before setting them down on the table between them. When Azlyn inquired where they should begin, The Sith Princess sat back in the chair.

"Let's begin by getting to know each other a little better. We'll take turns asking questions of each other. My first question. What do you know about the Force?" Crystal took another piece and enjoyed it as she waited for Azlyn's response.

That was a good question, in truth... not much beyond what she had read and she had read more. Her eyes flicking back and forth for a moment. "I know some from reading but mostly just what my family can do, like my mother and father I can recall and process large quantities of information and remember most things I see or hear. As for everything else I know nothing growing up in the mandalorian clans I didn't need to when I had armor and a forcebreaker grenade."

Crystal nodded. Everyone had the same general knowledge base to work with. Of course the things that were publicly known were barely scraping the surface of the knowledge base.

"Interesting. It's your question now."

There would be follow up questions of course. But the Sith Princess was playful. And patient.

Azlyn thought about what kind of question to ask her, there was several might still had but for the most part it would be learned in time with energy and effort. Some skill of course but that was a given. "How did you come to be here in the temple?"

@[member="Azlyn Ike"]

Crystal smirked. "Funny story." She grabbed another piece and popped it in her mouth. To tell the short version or the long version...

"Well, the man that I used to be married to suggested that I could reinvent myself here. After watching my descendants for almost 400 years, as well as the crown, I decided I could use a change. I had no idea what this place was when I arrived. Now, I'm just going to enjoy myself."

Crystal paused, and considered another question for Azlyn. "Are you interested to learn more about the Force?"

@[member="Crystal"]

400 years? Now that was a feat it seemed and she was looking for wrinkles or grey hairs. It wasn't often she met people over maybe a hundred for human standard. She didn't expect to live much longer then one hundred and twenty max. She still had to answer the question but taking a piece and putting it in her mouth she rolling it around for a bit before speaking. "Yes I want to learn more about the force."

@[member="Azlyn Ike"]

Crystal smiled. "Excellent."

She hadn't had an apprentice in a long time. How far the training would go, well, that was up to Azlyn. The Zeltron would have to show a real interest and talent for manipulating the Force. Otherwise, the training would be brief. But, she would see for herself. It's not like she had a shortage of time.

"What is your next question?"

@[member="Crystal"]

She was curious about what she could ask, there was much going on and much she wanted to learn about the force but from what she knew of it.... Not all force users were masters of everything. She wondered what she could learn from her master.... yes that is what she would have to call her now most likely but that was fine when Azlyn smirked. "What kind of force user are you? I mean I don't know my cousin is a jedi and one was in the empire. I do not fully understand the denominations."

@[member="Azlyn Ike"]

Crystal grinned. "Good Question, Azlyn." She was pleased that the Zeltron was curious. That was a good thing. She took another piece before responding.

"My house has always loosely followed the doctrine of the Sith. Of course that is vague at best, since each Sith follows the doctrine of a different predecessor before them. At this point, I've studied several doctrines and practice Sorcery. I'm also quite a gifted Telepath." The Sith Princess smiled. "But, more simply, I serve my own interests as a Sith."

She popped the piece in her mouth and chewed happily before elaborating further to fully answer her question. "The Jedi serve the people, which is normally represented by the Republic. The Imperials serve the Emperor. The Sith serve themselves. There are many shades of grey in between. The light side and dark side of the Force are merely the extremes. With the Force, you need a strong mind and an imagination. With those, anything is possible."

As a demonstration, she closed her eyes briefly. When she opened them again, her hair was red. And she smiled. "My last question. What do you want to make possible?"
