Once and Future King

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
The truth seemed to be something always out of grasp. It slipped like the sands of the great Dathomiri desert through fingers. As the hand would scoop the grains and rise, piece by piece and grain by grain they would fall, until all that remained were a few grains to grasp onto. That was all Solan had to go on when it came to his history.

Sometimes he remembered a planet which was full of mountainous terrain, fertile ground, grapes in abundance, wine. It seemed like a dream, and usually was. The hot sands of the desert he was raised in, or near, reminded him Dathomir had always been his home.

"You must find your way off of this planet," his mother would always say. "You are destined for more than what you have here. Your ancestors ruled an entire world, people did their will. They will do yours, but you must first find a way off this place."

His ancestor. A man which could be fiction for all he cared. Solan knew enough to know that he was born out of wedlock, a bastard child, sent away because he and his mother were a shame and disgrace. Still he was driven to leave, and she pushed him toward it.

He was fourteen when he left. The dark haired teen already looking older than his age. The world had become different as he aged. Things mived at his will, mostly by accident really. There was something else, sometimes he heard voices. These voices were what he followed until he reached the Burning Mists Clan. The magics he witnessed, the way the women were strong, Solan knew he needed what they had in order to leave, so there he stayed.

Seven years passed, quickly. Bryn was taller, more muscular, the tattoos of their men covered his arms and portions of his chest. He had been learning their magics, or trying too, but he lacked the formal training the Sith who had been part of the clan had. He knew what he needed to do. That's why he set on his knees outside one of the two large tents.

The animal hides still kept their fur. It insulated the tent from the cold evening and morning air. Solan had been waiting for two days, the only thing allowed him was a water bag made from the skins of an animal far to small to use for the dwellings the nightsisters occupied. He would wait until allowed to enter, or until death took him. This was his test.

[member="Darth Raven"]

Dathomir. This planet was full of mystery. But that mystery was only a blanket to hide what there really was: power. The nightsisters of the planet were said to have great power. Magic that could affect a person systems away, or even raise the dead. Such power like that was something Darth Raven knew would help rise the Sith back to thier glory. She needed to be the one to weild it in the hopes of using it. She needed to be strong.

A small Sith shuttle landed out within the dense jungle terrain of the planet. The ramp lowered and a hodded figure exited. Her deep blue eyes poked out from a vailed mask that covered her mouth. There was already a sense of some deeper force within this place. A good sign. It was hard to tell where to go from here. Raven reached out with her inner thoughts and alloawd the force to act as a guide. Finally having a decent sense of where to go she began to walk towards the jungle. Hopefully whatever she would find here would be able to help her gain the power she needed.

How long were they going to make him wait. The nightsisters controlled him, and he knew it. What he wouldn't give to be free of their manipulation. He had passed their ritual right of passage. The ink on his arms and chest was the proof of his strength. There was no reason the clan mother was making him wait to grant his request to leave, unless she knew that was his exact reason for being there. The clan mother was known for her premonitions, so Solan had to trust there was a reason his audience had not been granted yet.

The sound of a ship flying low, overhead, made him smile. The design was Sith. Perhaps this was what he had been waiting for. Regardless, the will to be patient was renewed. While he was sufficiently hydrated, the man was in pain from hunger. Two days, almost three, had passed now since he last tasted food of any kind. Solan was growing close to the place where his stomach would shut down, but until then, the pains only grew worse.

Emerging from the treeline, a hooded figure came into view. The shape was feminine, shorter than most. Her stride was powerful, determined. This one craved the power the nightsisters could offer. As she approached, Solan called out to her.

"If you seek the clan mother, her tent is here. You will have to announce yourself and wait for her to grant an audience. It has been near three days for me."

[member="Darth Raven"]

The sudden call from nearby made the Sith knight perk up to see the half starved looking man nearby. Noting his markings and his look it was odd to see a man here, and one who looked as though he'd gone through trials with the nightsisters on his own. And here she always thought they were strictly for females of species. Still when he noted it she looked towards the tent and walked over towards it. Instead of speaking she examined for a moment, then looked back to [member="Solan Vash"] sitting nearby. Given what he said and his state it was clear he HAD been there for days awaiting word from the sisters. This was a bad sign. Darth Raven didn't want to wait. She didn't have the time. She needed to see them. She turned and walked back to the man, looking down at him with her eyes peering through her hood and viel at him.

"Why haven't they called you yet?" he voice said through the muffled tone.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
"Likely because the clan mother knows I wish to leave," Solan answered as he looked into the bright eyes of the woman.

They were mesmerizing to say the least. Bright blue eyes had always been windows into the soul. Yet this one seemed guarded. He could not read into her deepest thoughts and desires. This one was a powerful Sith to keep her mind closed to him. He offered the water bag and motioned for the woman to get comfortable.

"I am certain she will see you sooner than me. You are female after all. As a nightbrother I do not rank high in their attentions, unless they seek physical pleasures."

That was about the truth. Had he been born among them he likely would be a mere stud for them to pass around for breeding purposes. Since he came to them of his own free will, the man was trained to know their arts, and left to his own for the most part. The clan mother often requested him to work on various things fitting for a man in their culture to do, but he had never been forced to do anything unreasonable.

She came out, the clan mother, clothed in leather top, enough to cover her breasts, a scarlet cloth skirt, and a crown of Rancor teeth on her dark, silky, hair. Her bony finger pointed at them both as she silently beckoned them to enter. The smell of incense greeted their nostrils as they entered. A fog of fragrant smoke filled the room, and the signs of the woman's divination were evident. She sat.

"I've seen this day in my visions," her alto voice spoke.

Her eyes looked to the woman.

"Speak your desire."

[member="Darth Raven"]

Hearing [member="Solan Vash"] explain his reasoning for why the nightmother had not seen him had not helped Raven at all. Knowing what would likey be a long time of waiting was something she couldn't afford. Though, as he;d said, the nightsisters would likely see her first thanks to the fact she was a woman. At the very least it seemed as though the man was not completley usless, since they used him for pleasure. Her prayers seemed to be answered as the night mother finally emereged. She was suprised that she arrived so soon, but was relieved to know that her wait wasn't as long as Solan's. She removed her hood and veil, revealing her raven hair and very stern face with the same beaming blue eyes.

When asked she answered eht enightmother with "Power. The power to change things for my better."

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
"Everyone wants power whether they admit it or not. You're Sith, haven't they given you all you need? No? Then learn to command your environment. You are female, you can make men do things for you. Confidence, build it. Magic is not what you need. Control of another, that is what you must learn."

The clan mother looked to Solan. She knew. Her clawed finger tips reached for his face. She cupped the chissled jaw line in her hand as the metal claw tapped against the bone. She smiled at him, then turned to the woman again.

"He wants to leave. Take him. Make him yours. He will do your bidding."

Solan looked between the women. This was typical. He wasn't adressed once, but he had been given his freedom, provided he was taken away by the woman who came. If she did not, he would be set out to wait until another came. He chose to speak.

"She speaks the truth. If you claim me, I will serve you."

[member="Darth Raven"]

The nightother's answer wasn't exaclty what Darth Raven had expected. Hearing that what power she needed, or wanted, was over others was true but she thought that meant having more Sith abilites. If command was more of the power she wanted then perhaps, for the sake of learning on her own, she would take the oppertunity. She was only half suprised when the nightmother had indicated [member="Solan Vash"] would be the one she would "claim". Even he seemed to be reluctantly clear on what would happen. The Sith pondered for a moment, considering her options. Her mental intent became all the more clear as she overlooked Solan for a little while longer.

"Very well." she finally answered. "I'll take whatever claim that is needed." She then walked over and held his shoulder, almost gripping it, while saying "You're offically mine now." with a devious smirk on her face.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
"So you do have what it takes to exert your will over another, goooooooood," the clan mother said with a pleased tone to her voice.

She rose and stood from her seat, and walked to the back of her dwelling. Her form was lost to the haze created by the fragrant smoke which filled her tent. When she returned, she carried a leather bound tome with her. The book was something Solan had not seen before, but knew of the writings which the nightsisters passed among themselves. It was said to be the secret to their magics. They could all read it, though the language would not be something the Sith could decipher, Solan could. He had learned their language at fourteen.

"You will find the secrets you seek in this book. As with all my people, you shall discover them for yourself, apply them yourself, test them on whomever you will. You have already claimed one who knows the tongue these were written in. Your influence over him will determine your success."

It was like the clan mother to do this. She always put tests out for those who wished something from her. First she determined if the woman would take the male offered to her, and when the woman had, the book had been made available to her. This was not a coincidence. Solan knew he had been waiting because the clan mother had already seen this moment.

"Live among us for a time, or leave, whatever you wish. Just get this male out of my sight. He was never truly one of ours to begin with. His path does not lie with ours."

With a wave of her hand she dismissed them, and Solan knew better than to hang around. He bowed and left the tent to have the bright sun assault his eyes as they had grown used to the darkness of the dwelling. Rubbing them, Solan turned to his knew master, mistress, whatever she would want to be called.

"My name is Solan Vash, and I am indebted to you. Command me as you wish, and I will see that it is obeyed."

[member="Darth Raven"]

When the nightmother had shown how pleased she was already Darth Raven knew that she was in for a true reward. It came in the form of the tome that was presented to her. Only a quick examination before hearing the nightmother explain it's properties, and how [member="Solan Vash"] would be of more use to her by being able to read it. Another use to have for this man. Good. Otherwise she would almost always having him doing meenial work. Nice to see the sisters of Dathomir knew the strength and superiority females could have in the galaxy.

When the nightmother left and Raven walked with Solan, after he introduced himself, she only beamed at him for a minute before saying "Good." handing him the tome she then commanded "Follow me. We're going back to my ship. You'll at leats have your wish of getting off this world. But rest assured, I intend to make every use of you as possible. And from here on, refer to me as 'mistress'. Understood?"

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Solan rolled his eyes. She was acting like a nightsister all of a sudden. This was going to get annoying fast. Well all he had to do was stay with her long enough to get off the planet, back to Coruscant, and into the service of someone that would actually teach him and not treat him like a slave. Then again, that's how all SIth were supposedly, so it didn't really matter.

"Yes, mistress," he stated as he took the tome and headed toward her ship. "My new mistress has a name does she not?"

Names were important to Solan. They were the story of who the person was, even if they chose to go by their honorific. This woman had a story and Solan wanted to know what it was. The blue eyed woman was more than just another pretty face, and shapely figure. While Solan could imagine what to do with such a woman, he also wanted to know her. Who was this woman he was serving? How well could she teach him?

"Are we to leave right away?"

[member="Darth Raven"]

As she walked and heard [member="Solan Vash"] ask for her name she only glanced back and said "The name which you may use aside from mistress is Darth Raven. Aside from that, nothing else. You don't need to know anymore than what is needed." She kept her more stouded and upright tone to her as she kept walking, just before he asked if they were leaving now. "Of course." she answered. "I have what I need. And something extra. No need to waste our time here."

Eventually they returned to her ship where Raven made sure Solan would enter first ahead of her. In case this man tried anything desperate or stupid, given that she had a sense about that with him, best not to give him any true chances. Once they were onbaord the ramp lifted up and, within a moment, the ship itself was up and flying out into space.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Space was cold, and he had only the clothing on his back. It was not much. Black pants and boots fitted to him below the waist, and a leather breastplate clung to his torso leaving his arms exposed. Had it not been for the leather trapping the heat into his chest, the man would have been certain to freeze. Even with the environment controls, Solan was not used to traveling in space. This was his first time off the planet which had been his home for entire life.

He huddled in the lounge of the ship with a blanket to cover his extremities. Whether he looked weak at the moment was not even a though as all he wanted was warmth. How did people get used to this? Perhaps they simply dressed warmer? Likely Solan was simply experiencing what was needed for his body to acclimate to space travel. For all he knew this was normal for first time flyers.

As he sat in the comfortable seat, Solan's mind wandered to all the possibilities this woman could use him for. What would Darth Raven want from him? Why did she keep herself such a mystery? Sure she craved power, but did that need to make her distant. Control, she was told to control him. Solan knew what that would mean were this one a nightsister, enslavement. Was this where his life was headed? Had he avoided it all this time just to find himself the slave of a Sith?

[member="Darth Raven"]

Oce they'd reached the lounge Darth Raven began to risrobe in front of [member="Solan Vash"] char. She removed her hood and robe and viel, revealing her face and finally her full figure in front of him. Underneath it all she wore a tight white button shirt, a long dark skirt that reached to her knees. Dark stockings and matching shoes. Around the collar of her skirt was a red tie with a little broach at the end. Looking to where Solan was she held her robe out, indicate for him to take it and fold it.

Once he did she began with "You're free to sleep anywhere, except my quaters. You're to stay out of them unless I call for you to come inside. Understood?" Once he gave his answer she took a quick whiff of the air around him and recoiled, saying "First you need to bathe. You reek of desperation." She would wait for him to try and walk off before "Ah-ah. Right here." A coy smirk went over her face.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Seriously! He was already cold. Though he did as he was told with a nod. The robe was folded and set aside. Then without a word he unfastened the breastplate to reveal is muscular upper body. His chest was toned and unshaven. Arms were bare except for the markings of the clan he was part of. The boots came off next, followed by his pants until he stood before his new mistress as bare as the day he was born. This was humiliating that she would make him do such a thing. Perhaos though she would reward with a show of her own.

"May I bathe now, my mistress," he said as the cold air surrounded him.

His eyes did not leave here but only a moment to undress her with his mind. All he could do was wait for further instruction.

[member="Darth Raven"]

Her smile was glued to her face as she watched [member="Solan Vash"] do as he was told. Already she enjoyed that benefit of having a servant. As she watched Raven's eyes continued to examine ever bare bit of him until he was down to nothing. All of his "extremities" were in plain view to her. Her red lips stayed curled in a smile and her deep blues eyes kpet looking and porbing where she liked before he'd finally asked if he could bathe. She merley gesuted with his hand that he was free to go, but indicated that his clothes would remain where they were. She wasn't going to have him walk around in dirthy clothing after a bath. She'd have something awaiting him once he was done. She only watched as he walked off, nejoying the view until he was gone. After that she laughed to herself at how much she knew she'd enjoy this.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Solan retreated to the shower, a smirk on his face as he decided to not go quietly.

"You could join me if want, mistress," he said knowing it would likely cost him.

She was not the only one who could have fun, and Solan was not afraid of pain. He knew it would come regardless, and if he was the one controlling when it would come, he could be ready for it.

He went to wash, regardless if she came or not. He did stink, horribly. The hot water over his body not only warmed him, but made him feel as though he were a new man. Solan let it run over him for several minutes just standing there. He let water wash away the bitterness of the last three days, and the dirt which came with it. Water ran through his hair, and removed the grease which gathered for lack of washing it the past three days. The moment was enjoyable. Though he knew his bare body would be greeted with the cold soon enough. The woman could not possibly have clothes to fit him on her ship. Perhaps he could find a towel or something.

[member="Darth Raven"]

His offer to join only made her sneer at him. "Do not presume to make such suggestions." She hissed at him. "I will only join if I wish. And only when I say so. Now go, before I make you spedn the rest of this trip naked as you are." Once he was gone and showered Raven used the force to move his clothes to the side. Meanwhile she'd found a suitable set of clothes for him to wear for now, somethig she'd kept from the last time she had a "visitor" on her ship; oh how long ago that seemed compared to now.

[member="Solan Vash"] would find only a pair of shorts and a shirt awaiting him. Enough to keep him covered but enough to expose his legs and show off his muscled body in the process. There was even a g-string sitting nearby if he chose to where it underneath. Clealry Raven wanted him more to show, ot speak. The advantage of a handsome slave like him was soething she truly wanted to exploit it seemed, though how far she would go was another matter. She waited in the lounge until he would return.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Shorts and a t-shirt. Well it was better than nothing, and as far as the g-string was concerned, he would rather go commando, so he did. [member="Darth Raven"] was waiting for him in the lounge once more. He entered with a flare as if to show himself off to her in the outfit she had found for him.

"A shopping trip is in order I believe, mistress. While I appreciate the covering, I believe something a bit more Sithy would be more appropriate."

Solan moved to where he had set the tome. He looked over it, ran his hand over the leather cover. So close to the secrets of the nightsisters. He carried his own. One he was about to admit to his new keeper.

"I can use th dark side," he stated. "I know the clan mother offered me as a slave, but if you are able to teach me the ways of the dark side, I would rather be your apprentice."

[member="Darth Raven"]

Raven had been sitting and waiting until [member="Solan Vash"] returned. She admired his look in the "trappins" she chose for him. They did indeed show off what she wanted to see. She could tell he chose not to where the g-string. She could just tell. She sat with her legs over the other, teasing herself to him while making it clea he couldn't touch. Her first slave and already she acted as though she knew how to treat one.

When he made the offer of wearing something else she sneered again and said "You'll wear what I choose, understood?" After that she heard him confess his being able to wield the darkside, her eye perking a bit at this little bit of info. She hummed with contemplation before saying "Perhaps. But just because you'll be an apprentice, doesn't mean you still won't be y slave? Is that clear? Until I have said so, you could progress to knight and still be my slave until otherwise. So don't start growing any funny ideas in that pretty head of yours."
