Intent: To provide OmegaPyre SPECTRE Initiative soldiers with their own, identifiable sets of armor based upon job roles.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Fondor Armorworks
Model: A1 SPECTRE Gear
Affiliation: OmegaPyre SPECTRE Operatives
Modularity: Limited
Production: Minor
Material: Fatigues (Ripstop Nylon), Armor plating (Duraplast armor plates)
Description: This set of armor is a variation on current armors and camouflage patterns currently in use by OmegaPyre forces. In order to increase mobility and allow their operatives to fit into a more mobile role the base of this armor set is a cloth designed around Ripstop Nylon, which increases the cloths capability to resist tearing and ripping.

Each suit has it's own strengths and weaknesses and is given out based upon job role. Three of them (Recon/Sniper/Special Forces) are designed around lightweight platecarriers that hold one, or at maximum, two armor plates across the chest and one across the back. These plates, made of duraplast, provide moderate protection from kill shots while allowing the user more mobility than standard issue carapace armor (think: stormtrooper). These vests are designed to be modified with various pouches based upon user-preference but will most commonly hold such things as powerpacks for blaster rifles, grenades, and utility pouches for things such as commlinks and food.

The only major departure from the above armors are the sniper and pointman sets. The sniper wears a ghillie suit, an ages old sniper tool designed to blend into the environment. The Pointman wears a modified police riot suit, with added layers of protection. Naturally, this results in a slower soldier but is more perfected for CQB environments where the extra armor could mean the difference between life and death.

All come with their own sets of goggles that can use multiple vision modes; (thermal, night vision). These are compact for the purpose of, again, mobility and to keep the soldier as 'small' as possible by eliminating as much oversized gear as possible.
