“Don’t worry,” assuring himself as much as Vulpesen, he rubbed two fingers to his brow, and took another drink. “One day we’ll both be standing there, your wife, kids, and you’ll be buying me the drink”
Kei’s grin broadened, if they both made it that far. Well that’s what he did, fought the impossible battle with nothing but what he had to hand, was it time to again? Not yet. Part of him knew that time would come, but by then he’d be a Jedi again and able to handle it better, for all of those he left behind.
