Strengths:
Emergency surface: The idol possesses the astounding ability to allow one to walk on water as long as it is equipped and they maintain maximum concentration channeling the Force through the idol as they do.
Frontal Protection: So long as it is on your person all damage you take from the front from kinetic or slugthrower weapons is reduced by ninety percent.
Long fall bonus: With the idol in your possession, you can fall from the very tallest of skyscrapers and the idol will reduce the speed of your fall to survivable levels
Anathema to darkness: It repels spirits, and cannot be held nor manipulated with the Force by Dark Adepts, and the same goes for any barrier they are placed behind or any container they are placed atop of.
Defensive: The idol will prevent any vibroweapon equipped from being overloaded with electricity. Breath Control much easier to call upon.
Emergency light: Lights up in Dark caves
Weaknesses:
Voids: Will not function at all in a Force void.
Offensive weakness: Offensive Force powers cost twice as much mental exertion.
Seismic: If a seismic disturbance knocks it over, any container or doorway it was protecting losses its protective effects.
Indirect: Just because you cannot directly knock it aside, does not mean you cannot throw something to knock it aside, or have someone who is not a force user pick it up.
Not alchemized: Can be destroyed, with enough, albeit significant effort
Frontal only: Does nothing to protect the sides or back.
Survivable, not unscathed: When falling, though it will be reduced to survivable levels, that does not mean you will not sustain disabling injuries on impact.
Cryo: All vibroweapons much more vulnerable to cryonic damage, causing them to chip easily.
Suppression: Being hit with Force Suppression while idol is equipped will disable its blessing for a minute, and cause painful, distracting migraines to the bearer for thirty seconds.
DESCRIPTION
The Old Knight Idol is one of many Relics Laertia kept over the years for "Rainy Day Insurance" Discovered in an old temple on Malachor, Laertia kept the powerful item once its properties became known to her via an accident with a slug thrower to the stomach. The Old Knight Relic is worn, weathered, scratched, and has passed from one Jedi to another to protect them against difficult adversaries. Blessed by the light rather than enchanted, the idol can still be destroyed, though given the power coursing through it, it would still be quite difficult.
Having taken a liking to [member="Tanaski Yumi"] after recent events, Laertia retrieved the ancient relic from a hiding spot on her vessel, delivering it to him in the hopes it will see him through many difficulties as he himself grows in the Force.
