Armory: The Armory of "The Pit" is undoubtably the largest armory in the known galaxy, containing every modern weapon in the galaxy, ranging in size and availability from the standard issue OPP-2 Heavy Blaster Pistol to weapons used by the Moross Crusade and Levantine Sanctum
Motor Pool: Just like the Armory, the Motor Pool of "The Pit" houses every vehicle in the known galaxy, ranging from the standard issue O1 Bhesj used by tankers in the ODF to the tanks and armored vehicles used by the One Sith and the ASA
Force-User Training Areas: A small portion of the facility is set aside to train any force users that join the Protectorate, these areas range from meditation rooms, saber dueling rings and even rooms filled with various objects for telekinetic training
Main Facility: The Main Facility is a massive area, nearly 50 kilometers long designed to be a massive mock battlefield for training ODF Army Soldiers and OP Contractors for the rigors of battle. The facility uses state of the art holographic technology to create different types of battlefields, ranging from the deserts of Tatooine to the freezing plains of Hoth and even the sprawling Cityscapes of Coruscant or Taris. Unlike most holographic training facilities though, "The Pit" doesn't pit you against holographic dumb enemies, it pits you against other soldiers, in every match at "The Pit" there are two forces, a OpFor, a Opposing Force made up of ODF Army Regulars who have studied the force which they are attempting to emulate in detail, and a force of recruits and ODF Army Regulars who are there for training purposes. To avoid deaths and major injuries, all soldiers use blasters set to stun, slugthrowers loaded with simunition and to add a further degree of protection energy suppression fields, like the one used ones used in the Taris Dueling Rings, are in place so things like grenades could still be used.
History: Designed when it came appearent that a more in depth way to train Protectorate forces was needed. While most militaries stuck to things like virtual reality or mock training scenarios, the Protectorate decided to take this concept a little farther. The Protectorate decided to use something akin to the Taris Dueling Rings, making it so the soldiers can get actual real life experience.
Description: The Omega Holographic Training Facility, or 'The Pit' as it is more commonly referred to, is the main training facility for all Omega Protectorate troops. Described as one ODF trainee as: "The largest single building I've ever seen." It is true, 'The Pit' is a massive building, being a rough forty by forty kilometers, big enough to simulate a actual battlefield. It host the single largest armory in the known galaxy, as well as the largest single motor pool in the galaxy. Though this doesn't mean it is left undefended, at all times, it hosts ten ODF Rifle Companies, five ODF Weapons Companies, four ODF Armored Squadrons and 115 HBD-300 droids, all in all the ground defense forces consist of 2,250 ODF infantry, 80 O1 Bhesj Main Battle Tanks and 115 HBD-300 Droids. Though it doesn't just have ground defense, it has a vast network of anti-ship defenses as well, consisting of 32 Omega SAM Turrets, 32 Light Turbolaser Turrets, 16 Medium Turbolaser Turrets, 8 Light Turbolaser Turrets, 8 Heavy Turbolaser Turrets, 8 HVC-LH-39 'MINI-JAVELIN' Hypervelocity Guns and 4 HVC-LH-71 'JAVELIN' Hypervelocity Guns, providing a massive net of both anti-fighter/bomber defense and capital ship defense.
