Ohm-Lai is an old Arkanian-Human offshoot, and tends to look it, with well-worn features, and gentle wrinkles across his face and around his eyes, pale and silver. His hair has long-since gone gray and grown long, but he often keeps it tied back with a simple thong. Despite his age and blindness, he is still hale and hearty enough to serve as Jedi Watchman over Fresia and Jedi consultant to the government of the Fresian Federation. As befitting his position, he often wears fairly formal robes over his common, everyday tunic and trousers.
BIOGRAPHY:
Ohm-Lai was a young Jedi when war broke out between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Stationed as Watchman over Fresia, the bulk of the war passed him by, except for when he had to go underground after the collapse of the Galactic Republic, living in hiding and exile until the One Sith were overthrown. The newly independent Fresia rebuilt and formed the Fresian Federation of the collected governments on the planet, and Ohm-Lai was welcomed back as the Jedi advisor to the government and to resume his position of Jedi Watchman. So he lived in peace, choosing his duty to Fresia above the turning tides of the galaxy. Yet now, he has begun to feel the push and pull of the Force as something new begins to grow and develop in the galaxy.
