OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: To add an interesting location and to flesh out the map by filling in empty hexes.

- Planet Name: Oghr-359: 3-01. Shortened to just Oghr by most.
- Demonym: Oghric
- Region: Tingel Arm
- System Name: Oghr-359
- System Features: Oghr-359 is a simple but barren system having a central bright blue star orbitted by two molten worlds close to its center and a large green gas giant within the 'goldilocks zone'. That gas giant has seventeen moons with the innermost being Oghr-359: 3-01, the only inhabited planetoid in the system.
- Location: Here
- Major Imports: Food, Water, Biomatter, Advanced Technologies
- Major Exports: Metals, Cheap Manfuctured Luxury Goods, Simple Technologies, Coaxium
- Unexploited Resources: None
- Gravity: Practically non-existent
- Climate: Barren Asteroid
- Primary Terrain: Rocky wasteland
- Atmosphere: Type IV
- Capital City: Due to the planet having a hive mind it lacks any formal capital city.
- Planetary Features: The settlements on Oghr are built in concentric circles beneath massive communication arrays, which are used to connect the Hive across the system, and above a vast tunneling network that has been dug throughout the planet. This network serves as a colossal mine providing raw resources the hive needs to continue functioning. While these tunnels can be navigated to move between settlements, the primary way of transportation is by the network of hovertrains on Oghr's surface.
- Major Locations: N/A
POPULATION
- Native Species: N/A
- Immigrated Species: Lokecysts
- Population: Crowded - The Hive records the Lokecyst population at 1,339,271,889 and typically attempts to keep the population around this number, believing it to be the optimum amount. While puny on galactic standards this population is massive for such a small planetoid.
- Demographics: Outside of visitors, diplomats, or corporate representatives all organic matter on Oghr is Lokecyst synthflesh
- Primary Languages: Lokecysts do not speak, but the hive has developed a caste of 'diplomats' equipped with advanced language banks capable of communicating in any common language.
- Culture: The hive that dominates Oghr is a pragmatic entity, believing that the simplest and most direct answers are typically the best. Threats are only negotiated with if they are too threatening and non-threats are shooed away unless they come to barter. Outside of this the 'culture' the hive instills in its members is pragmatic utilitarianism. Very little decoration adorns Oghr as everything has a purpose and is only useful for that purpose.
- Government: Lokecyst Hive Mind
- Affiliation: Itself.
- Wealth: Low: Oghr is known as an easy place to restore fuel and get cheap manufactured common goods as the Lokecyst Hivemind attempts to gather wealth while not really understanding markets. Entrepreneurial traders within the sector regularly buy these cheap goods in bulk before selling them for significantly higher prices elsewhere, giving the planet a steady flow of credits. What really puts Oghr on the map however are the small amounts of Coaxium within the planetoid's crust. This very rare very valuable material is mined, horded, and mostly turned into fuel to keep the colony running while also being used to refuel passing starships for a price. Occasionally the Lokecyst Hivemind sells shipments of Coaxium if the mining operation has been especially fruitful. The Lokecyst Hivemind has little use for the credits it earns besides purchasing goods it cannot manfucature itself and occasionally paying mercenaries to help deal with larger threats.
- Stability: High. The Hivemind is ever present and does not permit infractions against itself or its will. Rogue drones or stow aways from visiting ships are frequently caught, dismantled, and recycled. Little is out of place, little is unexpected.
- Freedom & Oppression: Those who deal with the Lokecyst hivemind are expected to follow its every whim. Usually the hivemind treats its guests with respect, knowing its reputation as 'fair and reasonable' is partially why it is still alive. But those who step out of line are usually quickly crushed and recycled, especially if the hivemind believes it can do so without consequences.
- Military: Lokecysts are fully capable of defending themselves, meaning the planetoid has a militia larger than one billion individuals tightly coordinated by a central digital hivemind which can rapidly arm its population. On top of this there are 20,000,000 Lokecysts belonging to a 'warrior' caste with personal shield generators and heavy weaponry integrated into their bodies such as grenade launchers and repeater cannons. Furthermore there are several dozen cannon batteries established across Oghr capable of shooting at and damaging capital ships.
All of this is further protected by a planetary shield kept active by a generator located in the core of the planetoid and several relays which project it around the planet on the north and south pole. - Technology: Galactic Standard
Oghr is a small planetoid with a radius of only 11.2km and boasting a measely 1,640 square kilometer surface. It is host to a newly founded Lokecyst Hive which was founded only a few years before the planeshift when a Lokecyst exploratory vessel discovered the Coaxium in the planetoid's crust. The chaos brought on by the planeshift has allowed the hive to flourish and fully establish itself without interference. It has only now begun to expand to other planetoids in its system with tiny rudementary outposts on other moons orbiting the large gas giant on the edge of the system.
