OCTAVIA CORVAIN
- BACKGROUND
-
Born on Brentaal into a family with a long tradition of public service, Octavia Corvain grew up surrounded by stories of admirals, bureaucrats, and officials who had dedicated their lives to maintaining order across the galaxy. While her older brother Galen embraced those expectations from an early age, Octavia found herself drawn to a different path.
From an early age Octavia chased speed, competition, and excitement. Piloting came naturally to her, and by the time she entered the Imperial Naval Academy there was little doubt which branch she would pursue.
The collapse of the Empire occurred early in her military career. She never developed a fascination with politics or governance, she simply saw a galaxy that needed capable people willing to take action.
Graduating near the top of her flight class, Octavia quickly earned a reputation as an exceptionally talented pilot. Aggressive, fearless, and occasionally reckless, she possesses an instinctive understanding of starfighter combat that has carried her through encounters where more disciplined pilots might have been lost.
With the fall of the Empire, she remained in the navy, becoming a fighter pilot of the Imperial Reclamation Authority.
- PERSONALITY
-
Octavia Corvain is confident, competitive, and rarely intimidated by either danger or authority. A natural risk-taker, she thrives in situations that would leave others frozen with hesitation, trusting her instincts and abilities to carry her through. She enjoys speed, competition, and proving herself against difficult odds, often wearing her confidence with just enough arrogance to irritate those around her.
Despite her reputation as a thrill-seeker, Octavia is far from careless. Beneath her relaxed attitude lies a highly skilled and disciplined pilot who takes her craft seriously. She respects competence wherever she finds it, has little patience for cowardice or excuses, and would rather earn recognition through action than rank or reputation.
Charismatic and naturally sociable, she has little trouble earning the trust of her peers and is often more comfortable among pilots in a hangar than officers in a briefing room.

- APPEARANCE
-
Octavia Corvain stands 173 centimeters tall and possesses a lean, athletic build shaped by years of flight training, military conditioning, and long hours spent in the cockpit. Dark hair is typically worn in a practical ponytail, though loose strands rarely stay in place for long. Her features are sharp and striking, with intense grey-green eyes and an expression that often hovers somewhere between confidence and challenge.
Unlike many Imperial officers, Octavia carries herself with a relaxed ease that borders on irreverence. She moves with the self-assurance of someone accustomed to operating under constant pressure. The faint smirk that occasionally finds its way onto her lips often suggests she knows something others do not, or simply enjoys keeping them guessing.
