Vytal Noctura
This was the first time Cord had gotten to meet the council of the Knights Obsidian at least on any formal level. She stood before them her Ancient sith mask upon her face one side silver and the other side amethyst purple the mask was covered in in gold sith runes. The runes depicted a thousand and one sins, the Sins of Cord Starfall. Those that could read the old dead language would note mentions of mass murder, genocide, and many more atrocities a true depiction of a monster. A monster who had been trained to kill from the moment she could crawl, and who had taken her first kill at age six.
A darkness protruded from Cord out towards all those seated revealing the deep dark scars permanently burned on her soul and aura. The scars seemed to go hand in hand with the sins upon the mask, given one the image of a truly dark individual. Not to mention she was wearing her normal green weighted long coat and light sith battle armor underneath. Hanging from her belt were two sith swords. Cord was fully armed she had no idea what she was walking into when she was invited to the meeting of the council. As one who had been both sith and Jedi she new not to enter these kinds of things unprepared.
Though she was prepared she was not on the defensive and maintained a relaxed posture before the Obsidian council. Granted she was eying each of them up and down taking note of any weapons they might have and the attire they were wearing. She assessed it all tactics she might employ if this turned south and possible escape routes as she waited for one of them to speak. As she waited for them to speak, she wondered if they expected her to kneel, because if they did they would be waiting here an eternity she was a descendant of Ice, the children of Ice did not kneel.
Then the Nightmother spoke spinning her hand as the green Ichor magick formed into a green sphere then took shape into a world. A world Cord had never heard of perhaps it was fictitious or perhaps she just had never heard of it. Though it did not matter as that was not the purpose as the Nightmother spoke, laying out a scenario before Cord.
Cord thought it over as both her hands reached up to remove the helmeted mask from her face. As she did so auburn locks feel to her shoulders and for the first time the glowing Orange eyes of The Allyan Dathmiri Witch of the Howling Crags Clan looked into the nightmothers’ green eyes. Her Mask and helmet broke down into three parts and was displaced inside her coat. The Orange eyes were the outward sign of darkside scars Cord bared.
“Assuming we know where the weapon is, we send in a strike force to attempt to subdue the rebels and secure the weapon. With the Naval forces on standby to strike the surface where the weapon is if the strike force is unable to complete it’s task within the allotted time given to them.” Now that was Assuming, they knew where the weapon was, and they could reach it.
“I get that the strike force might be sacrificed but a knight chooses to serve and sometimes you have to give your life to protect.” Cord’s tone was serious as she spoke she did not smirk or smile as she laid it out.
Cord had worn many hats in her long life raised sith at birth, turned Jedi, becoming a pirate, and finding her Dathomiri roots. Yet even as a Pirate though she was often self-serving she still believed ultimately the need s of the many outweighed the needs of the few. So, the sacrifice of a few Knights and the rebels who might have had some just cause, to save billions on other worlds was the moral choice in her mind.
“The needs of the many always out way the needs of the few. Now that is given, we know where the weapon is. If we do not, we would have to scan for it and take it out from orbit.” Now someone might propose signaling those worlds of their impending doom but that would only raise panic and there would be no time to evacuate with only an hour anyway.
Now there were a few other ways this scenario could play out that Cord could foresee but without further details they were not mentioned as there was a Higher chance, they were not plausible to pull off. With the little information she had a simple strike time on a time sensitive mission with naval bombardment at the ready seemed the simplest and most efficient.
