Name: Oasis

Classification: Desert, Oasis

Location: Netherworld

Size: Small Oasis

Population: Unknown quantity of souls

Demographics: Unknown quantity of varying species

Points of Interest: Shoreline - The Oasis is surrounded by white sand that is soft and luxurious. It is accompanied by various fauna that are thought to remind the soul in question of their homeworld. Growing on these varying faunas are vegetables or fruit that are the soul's favourite.

Description: The Oasis is a place in the Netherworld of the Force, for departed souls to convene with loved ones and remind themselves of home. Looking into the water of the Oasis refreshes the soul much like one would in life, by pouring fond memories into the departed soul to enjoy and reminiscence on. If a soul were to dive into the Oasis's depth, then they could relive those memories like they were happening for real.

The sand around the Oasis is smooth, not coarse as it would have been in life. Fauna, such as trees and bushes, litter the shoreline and host varying vegetables and fruits that seem to appear for the soul at their request. It is thought that these fauna and their growth are native to the departed soul's homeworld or another world that once spent time on in life.

Departed souls cannot move beyond the Oasis shoreline, nor do they seem to want too. Beyond the Oasis exist the Dunes, a desolate and barren place for the souls of the departed who did not make it into the Netherworld of the Force, but rather Chaos instead.

It is thought that the souls who bathe in the memories and luxury's of the Oasis can see the dearly departed as they walk hopelessly by in their perpetual state of madness. As the souls of the Oasis reflect on the good in their lives, the souls of the Dunes reflect on the bad, defining the contrast between the Netherworld and Chaos.

It is thought that if a soul became regretful and sorrowful enough for their crimes, which they reflected upon in the Dunes, that their redemption into the Netherworld would allow them to finally join the Oasis and reflect on any good in their lives.

History: Oasis's in life were thought to be 'Heaven from Hell' to some who became lost or trapped within a real life desert. This saying in life could become something of a realization for souls who became one with the Force and arrived in the Oasis in the Netherworld, or the redeemed who managed to find their way to the Oasis from the Dunes in Chaos.
