DESCRIPTION
Vandemar has a high need for good quality, mass produced armor. Their armories are always prepared to equip all three reserve stages of the population. The Mark II Hamata was designed exactly for this purpose, equipping a mass of individuals with a combat armor which would keep them alive and not restrict them too much.

The armor is made to be carried by anyone with varying sizes adjusting, in addition to modular straps, to any wearer, male or female. It is not cheap, but it is by far nothing special. Designed to protect primarily against blasters and explosives, the suit will offer little protection against a direct artillery hit or a skilled lightsaber wielding opponent. It will turn down crude vibroblade attacks, but admit defeat against skilled melee fighters.

Its various plates are easy to replace and therefore the armor is easy to maintain. It is not a regular sight in the standing army of Vandemar, because the military is issued better equipment, but will even then serve its purpose if necessary.
