SPECIAL FEATURES

• The Eridium Alloy may cause premature detonation of incoming ordinances, while the meta-ceramix overlay will prevent these premature detonations from warping the metal underneath, thus directing the explosive force outwards and avoiding internal damage.
• Disperses Energy at a terrifyingly fast rate, making it more effective than combined heat sinks and heatshields when it comes to minimizing the impact of explosions, thermal heat and radiation.
• Irregular surface makes it harder to penetrate for conventional weaponry.

STRENGTHS

• Robustly designed armor plating for ships and vehicles
• very resistant to conventional weaponry due to its irregular shape and focus on dispersing energy and radiation including impact energy and thermal radiation.
• May passively absorb the living force when used onto it, though this is only minimal... I.E. For someone to use Telekinesis on it, it would be like trying to grab on a metal spoon slathered in soap.

WEAKNESSES

• Rather heavy
• Integrated Micropoles need high energy regulation and may drain reserve energy quite quickly
• ION weaponry may disrupt the Infinium lining but also maybe shatter the eridium when overpowering enough.

DESCRIPTION
Designed as an addition to limited production vehicles and ships, to further ensure their safety and longevity, the Pangolin Type 1/A was meant and envisioned to grant any sort of ship the additional strength to withstand conventional weaponry even when the ship or vehicles shields were down, thus also raising the longevity of vessels and vehicles in the thick of battle, where a few extra seconds or minutes make the end of the battle a win or a loss.

Designed with the Micropoles in mind, combined with the flexible, yet sturdy meta-ceramic and additional ceramic shielding, topped off with small Eriadium alloy blocks at the outside of the compound plates, the Ersteel SLCA inside with the infinium lining would cohesively turn into a very effective means to defend against lower grade energy weapons and other conventional weaponry. retaining its desity even after the eridium alloy has done its job thanks to the micropoles and thus continiuing the safety of the vehicle or vessel it has been used on.

Alas, due to the mock up of the materials, ION weaponry of a higher calibre is capable of penetrating and even sheering off part of the reactive plating...
