TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- STRUCTURE
- Ersteel SLCA primary Ablative Plating w. Tungstoïd steel reinforcements and Tetra-polycarbonite lamellar compound overlay
- Seigurium bolts and section dividers
- Magnetized and Ionized Infinium E.V.A. lining
- Seigurium reinforced Ersteel SLCA forward angled prow design with extensive Quadranium reinforcements
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Specific design meant to act as the basis for ships with the capacity to breach enemy ships and thus break enemy lines
- Combines the rigidity of the superior metals and alloys used in exchange for the flexibility within its variable lining.
- Polycarbonite coating allows for low friction impacts, thus preventing most of the heat of the friction from ever reaching beyond it and thus having the posibility of warping the metals.
- Robust design with quality materials ensures a hull which can take a beating and evidently now also deal out some punishment of its own.
- Compatible with a multitude of alloys and plating options without corrosion or oxidization issues.
- Extremely effective against thermal and energy based weaponry and defenses, also grants moderate protection against radiation.
- Very heavy design, not particularly suited for anything designed to be very fast.
- If there is no proper shielding, ION residue may effectively corrode the Infinium EVA lining, which ups maintainance costs and may also cause ruptures if not properly treated in time and well enough to restore functions.
AS part of the original Sunderer designs, the Breacher Hull was in essence not yet a viable piece of technology on its own, despite the fact it also saw use in several other ships created and designed around and after the introduction of the aforementioned Sunderer. As such, after a preliminary hearing on the viability of the product outside of the N&Z's own production line up, it had been decided to allow other companies to use the Breacher Hull if they were willing to pay for it.
The first version to hit the market was the Type 1/A, meant to emphasize that it was the original, in a slightly altered, but still Authentic form, regulated and stamped for approval by the N&Z's internal commision by the end of 902 aby. The Hull design would be optimized for breaching enemy ships, an ancient tactic employed in many forms going from the ancient hammerhead corvettes to even the reinforced hulls of some of the most known imperial stra destroyers, all had the capacity, but no hull would actually capitalize on it so well as the Breacher Hull, which would advertise itself as the ultimate breacher, swearing truth to its name.
