- Nutritional Value/Allergies/Side Effects/ Purpose: Though the purpose is to slow down of even fully suppress a variety of viral strains, this is very much dependant on the users resistance to dark side powers and pain in general, because the activation of this drug feels like pouring molten iron into one's own veins. Side effects may vary and are listed below.
- Nauscea: Due to the heavy content of Black orchid, force property holding material within the suppressant can lead to an imbalance within the force contained within a person's body, causing varying degrees of nauscea, dizzyness and fever.
- Itchy skin: This is a side effect that is most prevalent among light side users, due to the dark side effects of this suppressant, their skin will itch ranging from lid itch to severe itch almost akin to the feeling of second degree burns deep within the skin.
- Bleeding: A more serious side effect is patients and recipients of the drugs being afflicted with a mild to severe case of hemophilia, with resulting light bleeding such as a light nose bleed to full one hemorhaghing internally. This side effect is very dependant on the physical condition of the recipient, it is not recommended to administer this drug to members of the sanguinus race for obvious reasons.
- Mutations: Possibly the second most serious side effect for any recipient of the drug is the possibility of mutating the infection or viral strain which has afflicted the recipient. This is usually the cause by either having some sort of auto immune disease present within the body or due to the presence of other drugs or substances within the blood which may cause an unexpected reaction from the interaction between the drug and the affliction.
- Death: Force dead recipients will experience all of the aforementioned side effects in the most violent forms possible with either death by rapid acceleration and mutation of the affliction or by the drug's own effects such as massive internal bleeding or rapid internal deterioration.
- Concocted originally as a means to suppress the violent results of an affliction by the Blackwing virus and all it's affiliated strains, it theoretically also has high successrates on other afflictions which primarily attack the bloodcirculation and bloodvessels within a person's body.
- Should theoretically be an all purpose viral supressor, meaning though it won't effectively heal or remove all afflictions, it does work as a temporary fix for most viral infections, suppressing the spread or mutation of most viruses for a considerable amount of time.
- No tolerance levels: No matter how much one uses this drugs, it's effectiveness will not diminish, making it impossible to build up a tolerance to it or even an addiction, thus avoiding most of the nasty long term effects which come with drugs and medications.
- Capable of reversal: This drug is even capable of reversing effects of several viral strains to a certain point, making this a useful drug even when one would consider the afflicted to already be "too far gone".
- Fast Working: After intravenous injection, this drug already starts showing its effects after one or two minutes tops, which condiering it lasts for a period between six and twelve hours is quite the blessing and allows for a more efficient use of the drug.
- Deadly: Though not all side effects are guaranteed or even all that common, sadly it is without a doubt and at almost a one hundred percent certainly deadly for those that are force dead, with none force sensitive beings in close second at a rate of around fifty percent due to their incapacity to channel the inate force effects of the drug properly and mitigate the darkside aspects of it.
- Untested on nonhuman species: Due to time in which this has been created, the template was human and near human species, meaning there is no guaranteed success for non humans and is highly advised not to be used on them in risk of the drug reacting badly on their biology which can contain substances which are not found in humans.
- Do not use with other drugs: When there are other substances of alien origin within the recipients bloodstream, there is a high risk of affecting the suppressing properties of the drug with wild varieties going from near-unchecked mutation and rapid acceleration of the affliction to exponentially increased severety of side effects and the chances thereof. It is advised not to use this drugs within six hours of any use of other medicin or intravenous drugs such as painkillers. It is also not adviced to be used within this timeperiod after a bacta treatment.
Though the medicine did already exist in an unfinished state within the laboratories of the N&Z umbrella coporation, it was hastily concocted into a working suppressant aboard the Valedictorian battlecruiser during the large scale invasion of Atrisia, which coincided with a serious outbreak of Blackwing virus. Intended to be used as a stopgap meassure until a proper antiserum could be developped, it was shipped planetside for quick vaccination of afflicted personnel of the N&Z Umbrella corporation and its affiliates.
With the process refined and a bigger stockpile ready for use, it is now in limited production due to the rarity of the materials used and the dubious nature of its creation and use of the dark side of the force, with availability mainly limited to those willing to pay a pretty sum for their continued survival at the risk of being killed by the suppressant itself.
