  • Noxium Stealth Matrix: A living stealth alloy combining physical, electronic, optical, thermal, and metaphysical concealment into a single material.
  • Adaptive Light Consumption: The surface absorbs and diffuses incoming light, dramatically reducing visual detectability while producing the signature black-iron appearance favored by the Kainate.
  • Reflec Crystal Veining: Microscopic Reflec crystal networks are grown directly through the metal during alchemical forging, allowing portions of the material to mirror surrounding visual environments.
  • Shadowskin Integration: Organic alchemical structures embedded throughout the alloy continuously alter the material's surface profile and reflective characteristics.
  • Multi-Spectrum Suppression:Reduces detection across:
    • Visible Light
    • Infrared
    • Ultraviolet
    • Electromagnetic Scanning
    • Passive Sensor Acquisition
    • Targeting Systems
  • Nightshadow Sensor Deflection: The alloy actively interferes with many standard sensor returns, creating incomplete, distorted, or delayed readings.
  • Force-Dampening Resonance: Obsidian Voidshard inclusions create a subtle dampening effect that makes Force-based detection more difficult than normal materials.
  • Alchemical Self-Healing: Minor scratches, sensor-scarring, and superficial damage gradually repair themselves over time.
  • Rune-Lattice Conduction: Sith runes can be engraved directly into the alloy, allowing Noxium to serve as an exceptional conduit for Sith enchantments and sorcerous augmentations.
  • Thermal Signature Bleeding: Heat is dispersed through the entire alloy lattice rather than concentrated in predictable hotspots.

  • Stealth: Noxium dramatically reduces visual detectability by absorbing, diffusing, and distorting incoming light across its surface, rendering the user nearly invisible.
  • Sensor Suppression: Noxium significantly decreases the effectiveness of conventional sensor systems by suppressing electromagnetic, infrared, ultraviolet, targeting signatures, and more.
  • Thermal Concealment: Noxium disperses thermal emissions throughout its internal lattice, making heat-based tracking substantially more difficult.
  • Integrated Stealth: Noxium's concealment properties are inherent to the material itself, allowing them to remain functional even after moderate wear or surface damage.
  • Force Dampening: Noxium provides greater resistance to Force-based detection than conventional armor materials due to its alchemically infused Voidshard resonance.
  • Sorcerous Conductivity: Noxium serves as an exceptionally effective medium for Sith enchantments, runic inscriptions, and alchemical augmentations.
  • Self-Repair: Noxium possesses limited self-repair capabilities that gradually restore superficial damage and degraded stealth characteristics.
  • Durability: Noxium is considerably more durable than traditional stealth coatings because its concealment properties are integrated into the material itself.
  • Combat Endurance: Noxium remains operationally effective in hostile combat environments where conventional stealth treatments would rapidly degrade.
  • Signature Distortion: Noxium frequently generates incomplete, distorted, delayed, or misleading sensor returns that complicate target identification.

  • Manufacturing Cost: Noxium is extraordinarily expensive to produce due to the rarity of its materials and the complexity of its alchemical forging process.
  • Production Requirements: Noxium requires highly skilled Sith alchemists and specialized infrastructure that cannot be easily replicated.
  • Not Invisible: Noxium cannot render a vessel, structure, or individual completely invisible to visual observation or sensor detection alone.
  • Force Detection Limits: Noxium's Force-dampening properties can be overcome by sufficiently powerful or experienced Force users.
  • Force Nullification: While exposed to Force Nullification, the self-repair capability is suppressed until removed from the field.
  • Ion Vulnerability: Noxium's Reflec crystal lattice can be disrupted by sustained ionization, electromagnetic saturation, or specialized counter-stealth technologies.
  • Maintenance Requirement: Noxium requires periodic alchemical maintenance to preserve peak performance and structural integrity.
  • Limited Availability: Noxium is produced in such limited quantities that widespread deployment throughout the Kainate is impractical.

Among the countless horrors forged within Malsheem, few are as jealously guarded as the secrets of Noxium.

Created under the direction of Darth Prazutis and refined by the artificers of the Shadow Mind, Noxium represents the Kainate's attempt to unite every known stealth technology they could acquire, study, steal, or conquer into a single alchemical material. Rather than functioning as armor covered in stealth coatings, Noxium is itself a stealth medium. Every layer, every molecule, and every crystalline structure is engineered to conceal.

The foundation of the alloy begins with alchemized Sarrassian Iron, chosen for its extraordinary strength and ability to accept alchemical transformation. During forging, microscopic Reflec crystal networks are grown throughout the metal itself, creating an internal lattice capable of subtly manipulating reflected light. Simultaneously, Shadowskin-derived organic matrices are bonded into the alloy through sorcerous rituals, allowing the surface to continuously adapt its appearance on a microscopic level. Nykkalt-derived stealth compounds and Nightshadow anti-sensor technologies are then integrated directly into the material, creating an alloy that suppresses detection across multiple spectrums simultaneously.

The result is a substance that appears almost unnaturally dark. Noxium does not merely reflect less light than conventional metals; it seems to consume illumination altogether. Surfaces forged from it frequently appear as black voids edged only by faint crimson rune-veins where Sith enchantments flow through the alloy. Observers often describe Noxium-equipped vessels as appearing less like starships and more like absences within reality itself.

For the Shadow Armada, Noxium has become the material of choice for infiltrators, reconnaissance vessels, stealth corvettes, elite warplate, covert facilities, and specialized assassination assets. The alloy's ability to suppress visual, thermal, electronic, and even certain Force-based detection methods allows Kainite forces to approach targets under circumstances that would be impossible for conventional warships.

Yet Noxium remains far from perfect. It cannot make a vessel invisible. Powerful Force users can penetrate its dampening effects, and dedicated sensor networks can eventually identify its presence. Furthermore, every kilogram requires extensive Sith alchemy, rare materials, and master artificers to produce, making widespread deployment impossible.

For these reasons, Noxium remains one of the Kainate's most prized strategic materials: A rare black metal whose very purpose is to deny the galaxy the certainty that something is there at all. Where ordinary armor protects by enduring attack, Noxium protects by ensuring the enemy never realizes they are being watched until it is far too late.
