Now Thats Just Good Buisiness

Coruscant, here was a world where it had been a few years since his boots touched its duracrete. They weren't on there for long before a speeder whisked him away from the Spaceport. He wasn't worried much that security forces would find him out. Many protections were taken to see that not happen. Still, you never take chances when treading across the palm of you enemies hand.

Not long latter Rayl arrived at the Headquarters of the Crozo Corporation. A meeting with a Mr. Corzo had been arranged. Hopefully he'll become a new arms supplier for him and the rearmament. Once again the soles touched solid earth. Rayl reached back and grabbed a briefcase. "Business time". He knocked the door shut and trotted off to the front doors.

Taras sat in his chair. The chair was one of those ones that could spin over and over again. In front of him sat a large durasteel desk. He watched the man enter his shop through the security camera footage set up in his office. He had eyes all around the building. He took a deep sigh as he awaited the call from his secretary at the front desk. He swiveled in his chair and faced the large window behind him. He watched the many speeders fly by and land at multiple different docking points. The city was truly alive. @[member="Rayl Wilded"]

Cool hand Rayl slowly made his way up to the secretaries desk. He had a cocky smile to meet the girls gaze when she looked up. "I'm here to see Mr. Crozo. My meetings for one pm, under Mr. W". Setting down his briefcase for a spell he took up a leaning posture with one arm on the desk while she looked to affirm his statement.

"Yes Mr. W, I'll tell him your here now". A short blub to the boss and she rose from her chair to escort him to his office. A short time latter they were outside his door. Rayl wasted no time and barged right in to the office. Knocking wasn't something a Pirate did.

Taras heard the door open. He spun around to face the man he knows as Mr. W. He put his hands on his desk and looked up at Mr. W. A smile ran across Taras' face. He spoke in a gentle tone "So you wish to strike a deal with my small business, lets figure something out shall we?" He took out a pen and wrote something down on a piece of paper. He was documenting the behavior of the his future client. You never know when that type of info might come in handy.

"That we shall". Rayl stepped deeper in to the office. The man he was meeting by the name of Taras; a newer business man. Or one venturing in to this line of work anyways. He'd have his merits pressed today. Rayl was in a sterner mood today, or maybe just a face to aid in securing a favorable deal. He set down his briefcase next to the chair across the desk from the Presidents desk. "Tell me. And I know it was I who asked for this meeting; but why should I choose Crozo as a supplier over another your size. What do you think keeps you above the knifes edge in this business"? The nefarious Underlord took a seat on a leather chair, quite comfy. It didn't take that look of his face though. The screws were going to br tightened until he was convinced to loosen them.

Taras put his hands on his desk. "We make sure that we offer the best. Our products might take a little longer to get through the design process, but we make sure they come out better then our competitor. We aren't afraid to dabble in a technology that the law finds wrong to use. As long as we cover our tracks, and it makes a good product, we will allow it. We can provide quality and quantity, if you are only patient enough to receive it. If you want the best, choose Crozo."

"Heh, the same sales pitch any would give except your open about being underhanded". That was a good and bad thing of course, but when he told Taras where his position stood in this galaxy it was unlikely that trait would be anything harmful towards him. "What products can you currently offer me and what are your production capabilities"?

"I can currently supply you with a variety of weapons and ships. I can have my corporation build armors, vehicles, and gadgets if that would be needed." There were a lot more things that could be built, but Taras decided to mention only the main things that he would build. Taras quickly straightened his collar. He was trying to convince this man to give up some credits.

Well send me a technical spec sheet on what you do have. And we'll see if theres anything of note I may be interested in". Rayl pulled up that case he'd been lugging around to his lap. The locks were undone and it opened away from Taras. A Datapad was produced and set on the table for him. "Put the files on here so I can read a bit about what you have, no need for trade secrets of course. Now how large a ship are you able to manufacture, and are your people experienced in fighter and bomber spacecraft"? The case was closed and brought back to a resting position on the floor.

Taras pulled out a datapad, and sent the files to the one sitting in front of him. He saw a loading bar marked transferring on the screen. 1%... 2%... 3%... He looked up at Mr. W. "We have the capacity to build anything 300 square feet and lower. We are planning on expanding. We just need some more credits." 79%... 80%... the numbers on the datapad continued to increase. Taras opened up one of his drawers. He pulled out a sheet of paper. "With some of our more secretive products, we like to put the blueprints on paper, so it isn't as easily taken. This sheet contains the early model for a weapon we are working on. Have you ever heard of a blastsword? It's a weapon that originated on Adumar. It is a sword, with the ability to shoot from the tip. This is a modified plan for it." Taras handed Mr. W the paper.

Rayl looked over the sheet for this, gun sword. He wasn't very impressed, not with it being a mass production weapon for armies. The chances for misfires. "Yes, well seems more a duelists type of deal. I need weapons that can stand the test of a battlefield and not be mishapful. Lets look at something less harmful perhaps for our first transaction. Say armor perhaps. Something every soldier needs if he's professional and so is the flag for which he stands. Something like Mandalorian's do. Full body armor, advanced sensors, survivability and ruggedness. But to keep the weight down so they don't tire easy".

Taras straightened his collar, even though it was already straight. "Of course we will make more modifications to it so it will be more useful in combat situations. Anyways, I do believe that we can make an armor from production. We may need to work out some details at a different time." Taras was intent on pleasing as much as possible. If he wanted to be one of the best, he needed as much support as possible. Taras actually got the idea to modify the blastsword for military use while on Adumar. He actually owned three.

Then we'll work out a few details of what we may want and you get a prototype built. I'll forward you a grant on its completion, and furthur refinement can go on from there". Well, it was up to Crozo to make something worthwhile investing in. And it was a bit of a shot in the dark asking a new company to undertake research like this. But worse odds have payed off before for him. His luck doesn't just disappear.

Taras had created this company three years ago. He just sold little things here and there. His biggest sale was to some gang looking for a couple of weapons. He really didn't have much luck with finding customers. He had finally found someone that could spare some credits, and allow him to expand. "A prototype sounds simple enough." Taras pushed a button on his desk. The button activated a microphone so he could talk to his secretary. "Could you set up a meeting with my managers about a new project we will be working on?" She replied "Yes, of course Mr. Crozo." Taras looked at Mr. W. "I will get started on that very soon. Expect a call from me in the near future."
