STRENGTHS
- Highly Resistant: The Shield is made of Alchemized Quandranium which enhances the natural energy resistances of the metal allowing it to effectively absorb a large amount of damage from energy based weapons including lightsabers and also transfers over to kinetic weaponry. Lightsabers are able to damage the shield however its resistance is high enough that it can block and/or parry blows from such a weapon effectively. A Sonic Nullifier is also incorporated into the rear of the shield creating an area of sonic dispersal along its surface face meaning it can effectively block sonic weaponry, dispersing it harmlessly across its surface.
- Electrical Absorption: An Electrical Dispersion system integrated into the shield allow it to absorb electrical attacks, including force lightning which soak harmlessly into the shield. This electricity can then be converted into a power supply used to maintain the integrated features of the shield.
WEAKNESSES
- Arc of Protection: It's a shield, it blocks whatever is in its front arc. If you can maneuver around it then its effectiveness decreases substantially.
- Heavy and Large: Quandranium is a heavy metallic alloy, even more so with the addition of Sith Alchemy to augment its qualities and this shield is large, meant for an imposing individual. An average person would have trouble lifting it and would be winded before long if they could even use it effectively.
- Ion Overload: The Shield isn't protected against Ion attacks. While this has no effect on the natural and kinetic resistances augmented by Sith Alchemy a well placed burst of ion energy can short out the Sonic Nullifier and Electrical Shield System integrated into it.
DESCRIPTION
A Sith Shield augmented by Alchemy and crafted from Quandranium. It is large, a mix between an oval and hexagonal design and primarily functions as a melee or breaching tool. The Shield is 1.8 meters in height, as tall as an average man and sufficiently wide to be used for its intended purpose in combat.
A Sonic Nullifier and Electrical Shield System are both integrated into the back of the shield allowing it to provide sufficient protection against both forms of attack. These are vulnerable to ion discharge but are also inconspicuous until combat has already begun.
