Don't Panic
Niysha cocked her head to one side, the closest thing to a surprised expression she could give with no eyes to blink in shock. After a moment, it collapsed into a smile. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize I was thinking so loudly," she replied graciously, then stepped in properly and closed the door behind her. She absolutely didn't need anyone hearing her talk with this young Jedi about Force-sensitive kids in plain view of the entire planet.
With that tiny bit of privacy assured, she returned her attention fully to Aliris. "You're a very kind young woman, Aliris, and I respect you deeply, so please don't take this the wrong way. I don't think anyone would be better off with the Jedi." She shook her head slightly and opened up the basket she'd been given, handing out a couple of small, candied pastries to two kids who swarmed her immediately.
"I'm just worried that they'll be much worse off if someone else finds them. I've never met anyone who was happier after they learned how to use the Force, but if Lothal's really about to be facing another occupation..." Her lips pursed. "They'd probably be safer as padawans than thrown into the wood chipper of a fascist boot camp explicitly designed to churn out ambitious, power-hungry weapons of the State, right?"
It was a thorny subject, and definitely one Niysha couldn't have an impartial opinion about.
