STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
- + Aura Vision. Niysha has the fantastic ability of 360-degree infrared radar X-ray aura vision. Naturally, this is mildly convenient both in everyday life and in...basically every other situation. Think of it like Eagle Vision from Assassin's Creed or Batman's Detective Mode. It also gives her a singular proclivity towards Sense powers.
- + Awesome By Analysis. More than anything, Niysha watches. She sees connections, watches, learns, and reacts to what she's found. Her mind works very quickly, which can allow her to make impressive plans in a very short amount of time.
- - Action Survivor. While she's good at living through nasty situations, Niysha doesn't yet have anything resembling combat training. She can get out alive, but that's going to be by running or hiding, not by fighting her way out.
- - Invisible Monsters. Though her vision is incredible, Niysha has a similar weakness to everyone else whose only vision is Force-based: Yuuzhan Vong and other Force-dead things are entirely invisible to her.
- ~ Cowardly Lion. Most Sith favor anger, hate, or greed as a power battery. For Niysha, it's fear.
Niysha is a young woman of relatively slight build. Her skin is a mild brown, and her curly hair is much darker. She'd look perfectly human if not for the disturbingly empty eye sockets in her skull. She keeps them covered with a proper blindfold to keep from freaking out species with such limited vision that they place such value on eyes. On average, Niysha wears either dark but simple civilian clothes or very modest black robes, depending on what company she's keeping. She doesn't normally keep her lightsaber visible when in non-Sith company, because paranoia is the companion of self-preservation.

BIOGRAPHY:
Several years ago, one Kära Vi'dreya took in a street rat Twi'lek who went by the name "Niysha." The girl was an ill fit for a Sith Lord's pupil, but for the few months that she managed to escape a much worse fate, she was kind and caring to several of the other impressionable young Sith acolytes. Among them was a young Miraluka girl who, like most of her species, had been found to be Force-sensitive at a very young age. The fact that this happened in Sith territory was...less fortunate.
Niysha the Twi'lek disappeared early in her training. However, she'd made quite the lasting mark on the younger students. The Miraluka girl started going by Niysha's name instead of her own, attempting to be either a walking testament to her kindness, or a powerful message of redemption for the woman who was robbed of the entire rest of her life. No one knows what happened to the yellow-skinned Niysha, but it can be assume she's dead, like most who go missing on Sith worlds.
But the blind Niysha is not dead. Instead, she was scouted by the late Darth Adekos in a Sith academy. Determined to be a match for the subtle, somewhat cowardly Sith Lord, she impressed him with their initial meeting and accompanied him on some minor errands in-between classes at the academy to further her skills. Things were going pretty well for her, for a time.
Then her master died. Niysha spent some time drifting, taking advantage of her meager Force skills and her understanding of how to structure events so their outcome favors her. The One Sith, bloated and rotting, was obviously not the place for her. Instead, she found something fresher in a crusade to retake the Sith worlds of the Stygian Caldera from the Silver Jedi. Employed to run orbital interference for the diplomatic party sent to Ziost, Niysha managed to stonewall the Jedi Gir Quee from setting up a naval presence around the world while one Darth Ignus negotiated a Silver Jedi retreat.
Ignus was so impressed by her performance that, after a bizarre debriefing, he took the young Niysha on as his apprentice. Initially put off by his strange demeanor, Niysha quickly realized just how lucky she was to get a Sith master who was neither a sadist nor a brute, so she didn't question her good fortune. Niysha's work with a growing Sith Order expanded to include territory and research claims, and placed her in contact with one Tai Fen, who may or may not turn out to be pretty important in the future, actually.
Now, several years later, Niysha has been wandering the galaxy, looking into anything that stokes her curiosity. She's dived into ruins, followed ancient passages of lore to the ends of the galaxy, and searched through rubble and ashes looking for not any specific thing, but just a greater understanding of the galaxy in general. With no loyalties and no master to speak of, Niysha languished in obscurity for years... which is more or less exactly what she wanted.
