Noble Training

“Maybe,” Alyssa tapped her lips with her index finger as she contemplated the Sith’s words of her overestimating her importance. While she knew the Sith pureblood exaggerated by saying he could place a peasant on a throne, truth was that there stood several suitable candidates among the nobles of the planet. At least one of them would definitely bend his or her back to serve the Sith. “Yes,” she finally nodded, “You are right, Master. But think about it. What will you gain by having some filthy peasant as the Emperor of the Iferetes Empire? A little obedient puppet that will change their allegiance when your enemies come knocking on the door. Someone who will do as they are told, but not out of loyalty.” The noble stated with a cold look on her face, clearly not fond of the idea of seeing someone else than herself ruling the planet.

“If I become the Empress, you will have a Sith who understands this planet, its people, their needs. Someone who is like you, yet known and supported by many, someone who can legally claim the title if we do it right. You will gain a Sith ruling a planet, converting its people to soldiers and workers ready to serve their Sith Masters. Manpower, resources, you will have everything with minimal struggle.” Alyssa’s eyes sparkled as the words left her mouth and the black haired woman smiled at the red skinned man. She knew she would be the best choice for the throne, if only the current Emperor tragically died! Having no intention to do it herself as her new Master wished, she decided to call a few friends. Attacking the man herself would only result in one thing had she failed – the Sith being banned, losing a great chance to actually claim the planet through more or less legal means.

The Sith Knight looked over his Apprentice. She was right in some aspects, though he was certain of his own abilities that he could simply force his presence into a peasant's mind, and do anything that he wanted to do. Though he wanted say that aloud. Though he almost hated himself for agreeing with his Apprentice, he did give in and voice it. "You are right." He said with an approving nod. His gauntleted hand swept up and took her face in his hand. He was checking to see if there were any markings of burning from the Sith Lightning. "Barely." He said as if he were only voicing the ending of a sentence.

"Be confident in your abilities Apprentice. None will oppose you, a day will soon come when you strike down the Emperor. That day will come when you leave this wretched planet. You cannot stay here forever and seek to rule this planet." He said with a shake of his head, and solely for comical purposes flicked his wrist to either side, moving her head along with his wrist. "What are you?" He asked, he wanted a specific answer, and if she would answer wrongly, she would receive even more pain. Fortunately enough for her, she will probably learn the answer he wanted. Eventually.

The young Acolyte merely blinked upon the Darth's acknowledgement of her words. The pale woman did not know if he merely mocked her by that or not, but it mattered little to her. Not even his hand that grabbed her less than gently managed to make her lose control. Not this time, she would not strike back like she had before. Resistance would be foolish, pointless. Blood boiled in her body and her heart burned with anger at being treated in this manner, the feeling would only make her stronger though, just as she wanted. To properly refine hate, among other passions, and turn it into power; everyone who aspired to become a Sith should know how to do that. The blue eyes calmly watched the Sith, fixed to stare into his yellow orbs.

The truth of her Master's words reached her ears and made her wonder if she truly wanted to devote her time to rule the planet until her death. Upon joining, she saw the Sith as a way to become powerful enough to kill the Emperor and assume his place on the throne. But now... if she continued her journey without being held back by the responsibilities that came with the title, she had a potential to become something much greater than the Empress of this backwater planet.

"I am a Sith." The noble answered his question. And it was true, right now, it did not matter she was also a duchess and someone who craved the throne. Standing in their temple after training among them for some time, now facing one who was also her Master. @[member="Darth Naefas"], a powerful Sith to guide her and turn her into a powerful being that every Sith had to become.

"Good." He said with a nod of his head to the side as if he was speaking to somebody. "You will be leaving this planet within a week. Whether you want to or not, dead or alive. You will be leaving." He said and he turned away from her, heading to the exit this time. "You aren't even ready to learn any Force abilities yet. Make yourself stronger, and then seek me out." He said throwing it over his shoulder and he turned around to wait for her response.

Dead or alive? Alyssa frowned, as she had absolutely no idea by what he meant by it. Possibly a test of her abilities since he advised her to get stronger; Sith were famous for testing each other all the time. It was logical, for both the Master and the student to encourage the other to become stronger, as it forced both of them to constantly search for ways to better themselves. The student wanted to overpower his Master and take his position, while the Master knew that and never allowed his student to become more powerful. Quite a clever way the Sith have invented, at least the Sith obeying the Rule of two. Of course, this has not ben the case, but the concept was probably very similar. The pale woman remained motionless, watching the Sith Pureblood walking away. "As you wish, Master," said the young noble and immediately started to plan her next days. If she were to leave the planet, for the first time in her life, she had to inform her slaves and order them to take care of her property while she is gone. Then there was the matter of becoming stronger. The Sith gave no further indication at which areas she should focus to better them, though the noble had a feeling he meant her mind. The ability to use the Force in general and her current Force powers.

Closing her eyes, the woman took a deep breath before focusing on the mysterious energy and attempted to feel the world around. The Sith Temple radiated power, domination, the power was making her feel small and miserable, yet it also fueled her determination to get better. Standing as she was, Alyssa clasped her hands behind her back and allowed the Force enter her mind. It was intoxicating, the Dark Side whispering to her as her closest advisor, telling her secrets no ordinary beings would ever understand. She became a part of the Force, strengthening her own connection to it and the Dark Side as well as increasing her reserves that held the power she could use to summon ice or move objects with her mind.
