Enshid sighed to herself as she sat atop a bench down some street of Theed. There was only much she could stay at home without feeling like she was going crazy. Only so long she could stare at the same walls, hear the same kind of conversations before she needed to get some fresh air. Of course she had possibly picked one of the second worse places she could come to. The first worse place would have been Parrlay, considering how familiar it would be. Theed was the opposite however. It wasn't that familiar to her whatsoever, yet she felt like there were so many eyes on her. It felt as if she couldn't be herself or let her guard down in case there was someone spying on her. Someone trying to dig up some kind of details about her. It wasn't exactly a secret that she wasn't a full-blooded Veruna.

But she had to try and ignore that. Breathe and relax as she leaned herself back. Having all of this weight and pressure on her shoulders wasn't going to help anyone out. Just breathe. Things were so much easier for her when she had been just a regular person. When she worked amongst the commoners and ran her way through the streets without a care in the world. In another life, she might have gotten into smuggling, or perhaps she'd have ended up having her own store. But in this life? She was a daughter of Veruna and felt like she had to act like it. But it wasn't who she was...or was it? It was hard for her to figure out who she wanted to be and who she was meant to be. As if her life was a game of tug of war, being pulled in two different directions, waiting for the other to slip. But Enshid felt like it was more likely that she'd snap than slip in either direction...

A small exasperated sigh came from her lips as she rested her chin atop the palm of her hand, staring out at all the people walking past. Perhaps she could play a game and just imagine the lives of everyone walking past her. It would be a better use of her time than just sitting here without doing anything. Enshid had never been good at people watching but it was time for her to try and at least get better.

Naboo had to be the most boring planet in the history of the Galaxy.

Voli had her head down her eyes staring through the small holes of one of the many tables in front of the Royal Library. Voli spent the morning looking up anything relating to occult history but she probably every book relating to the occult in there. Boredom took over Voli as she pressed her nose against the table hearing the slow and somber beat of the music playing in her Holopods. "Theed," Voli thought. "Chit."

She can feel her eyelids drooping and Voli increased the volume of her Holophone trying to drown the boring chattering of Nabooians. Their lives were boring, everything about Naboo was boring. It was too picturesque as if it was something out of a fairy tale...... and Voli hated fairy tales well the ones whose stories were so sweet it might as well be made out of candy. "Every time I dream, I'm exploring the inner workings of the Dark Side." Voli thought. "I could hear the same voice from the Holocron encouraging me to open it. But when I try to talk to the voice, I wake up here in Theed."

Boring..... the disadvantage of waiting for a mission or more training from her Master was the eternal boredom of Naboo. Something has to be done to escape the monotony. Maybe pull some pranks? "I rather entertain myself," Voli thought with a smile. "I rather take a break from researching."

Finally, she was up on her feet, stretching her arms out before twisting herself from side to side, as if stretching for some form of exercise. In reality? She was just going to be going for a walk. But that was exercise. Anything that kept the body and mind active was some form of exercise.

And so she took a walk amongst Theed once more, holding her hands behind her back as she attempted to skip along the streets. It was a mask, like usual. A mask of content and joy. Of course it was fake, but it was the act that mattered. Enshid had to continue to work on being able to wear various masks for the family if she wanted to be able to be valuable to them. It had gotten quite boring watching all the people anyway.

She rubbed her shoulder for a moment as Enshid made her way towards the Royal Library. Standing outside of the building for a moment as she turned her gaze up towards the building. A small sigh escaping her lips at the thought of how growing up she couldn't imagine a place like that ever existing. Yet there it was in all its splendour. All the books that could be inside. All of the knowledge. And yet...Enshid didn't have a single care about it. She wasn't some kind of scholar. She wasn't a brainiac. At least if she was, she'd be able to be useful. Alas all she had was street smarts...

Enshid just pinched the bridge of her nose for a moment, trying to put the mask back on. Smile. Head up high. Make sure no-one was watching. That was important.

A deep sigh escaped Voli's mouth as she slowly getting up. Pranks, pranks right now are the only thing that can prevent Voli from dying of boredom. She used to be a trickster back in High School using the Force to pull pranks and even performing a curse or two on a bully who deserved it. Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic would disapprove of it of course, but now and days she probably give Voli a long lecture if she breathed the wrong way. But the question is, how would one enjoy themselves in this vapid environment? What they need is fun and Voli had some ideas in mind.

A mischievous grin spread across her face while she got up. Perhaps she should get started on preparing the pranks. "My boredom is already erased," Voli thought before she began to run into a person. Voli yelped and fell butt first onto the floor. "Ow!" Voli gave a grumble. "Thanks Force," Voli thought. "Even after months of training, you still find a way to disappoint me."

"
Sorry about that!" Voli said giving a sheepish grin to the red headed girl. "I didn't watch where I was going."

A sudden yelp escaped Enshid's lips as she felt someone bump into her. Two main thoughts rushed through her mind at that. One side of her, the more...wilder side wanted to swing a punch at whoever had bumped into her for the rudeness. Whilst the other thought was that she should try and stay dignified. Instead she chose neither of those as she turned her attention over towards the woman who had bumped into her...and she raised an eyebrow.

"Huh. You don't...look like the usual person I'd expect to see here."

Maybe it was blunt. Maybe it was rude. Maybe Enshid didn't quite care. Either way, Enshid reached her hand out towards Voli, giving the stranger a small smile. It wasn't like Enshid had some kind of sixth sense that could have helped her predict someone was going to bump into her and there wasn't any need for her to be mad...Sure, maybe she should be more dignified and not help someone up but that wasn't Enshid. She'd always be willing to help someone up to their feet.

"Sorry about that. You're okay, right? Nothing's broken?"

Voli chuckled when the woman said that she didn't stick out to the crowd. "Story of my life," she thought smiling.

"What gave me away?" Voli responded in a playful manner grabbing the young woman's hand and pulling herself up. "My lack of self-righteous indignation?"

She dusted off her dress while checking on her Holophone. Still intact which was surprising given that she had been dropping a lot lately. "My parents stock investment in the company is actually paying off." she thought.

"My bones aren't made out of paper mache." Voli shrugged. "I think I'll live."

Part of Voli wanted to leave the girl to wherever she was going, but Voli did make a goal to make new friends when she arrived at Naboo. Voli tried to befriend people back when she was with the New Jedi Order and she had...... mixed results to say the least. "Let's just say social awkwardness makes for unpleasant interactions." Voli thought.

"Ummmm where are you going? You seem to be in a hurry." Voli said in a rush. "Got anything exciting planned? It'll be nice to find a fun activity. I'm bored."

Hopefully that was a good conversation starter.
