No Work + All Play..

"SWEET FREEDOM!!" this Padawan cried out from the cockpit of her Late father's Theta ClassT-2c Shuttle named The Intrepid. Tempest is going on shore leave after her latest mission with Master [member="Syn']. She takes her leave every time he docks back at the SJO base, but this time it's mostly to escape her Master's ship, which is home to a most unusual occupant, the snippy ghost of his Late Padawan, her name [I]Alema[/I]. Tempest needed only a minute to realize that the entity is absolutely unbearable to live with, an eternal presence because she is quite jealous of the living. There is a sense of sibling rivalry exchange between the two, presumably unnoticed by their Jedi Master. Additionally, Tempest does not truly feel tied to the Silver Jedi Order as do others. Maybe it is because she doesn't really know anyone on any personal level, aside from her Master. She has made acquaintances with many among different Jedi organizations. None of those acquaintanceships have progressed beyond cordial hellos, even that among her major crush, [member="Cedric Grayson"] for whom Tempest croons.

The moment they had landed from an extended trip with her Master and his etherial Padawan, whom she had no idea even existed until she could not escape the ghost, Tempest called for and retrieved her shuttle from the mobile galactic docking station. She waited for hours for its delivery. Onboard it felt like home again, lonely but familiar and most preferable to the pettiness and constant annoying intruding pranks of Alema. As the 14 year old Padawan slipped into the cockpit and prepared for lift off, she looked at the navcom and determined a course for precisely nowhere, while turning up the music.

Tempest immediately recognized [member="Rachel Taff"] walking along the tarmac and rushing to open the hatch, popped her head out to call out to Rachel through it. "Hey, Rachel!" she shouted across the dock. "You free to go on leave now too?" The music boomed through the open hatch.

Rachel was wandering the Silver Rest with a data pad in one hand and a caf in the other. She was looking over some old data and comparing it with some of the newer data she had found. Her master had told her to go out for a while get some fresh air or something but Rachel still refused. She was still doing work even now.

She sighed looking up perhaps it was time that she did take a break from the work. That was when another padawan she had met ages ago called out to her. She looked up seeing [member="Tempest Yore"], there was music blasting out of the ship as the girl called out to Rachel. Well she did need a break. Rachel smiled and wander across. "Yeah I am free to go. Let's do it." As she climbed into the ship with tempest ready to go tripping across wherever they would go.

”Yay!” she exclaimed as [member="Rachel Taff"] came aboard, turning the wheel to lock the hatch tight. ”Good to see a familiar face.” Her Master always took her on solo trips, never mingling in with actual missions of any Jedi affiliation. She went on a few, but they were always uneventful and therefore cut short…boring to be precise, and a shame for that.

She slumped down into the flight chair and waved Rachel into the co-pilot’s seat. The experienced pilot flicked some switches and gripping hold of the stick lifted The Intrepid off the landing pad. Within the fraction of a minute was initiating gravity inside the vessel. She set the auto pilot to take over and announced, ”Dance party time!”

Tempest danced with abandon in the cockpit as her playlist counted down. Her long blonde hair flinging about her shoulders every which way. She had not a care in the universe, until her joy was cut short as an incoming transmission was received by the communications console, signified by a red light flashing, drawing her attention.

"Kerf! I just wanna be about no work and all play for five minutes! But the universal calling says 'NO way Tempest, you have to grow up now, for every second of every day!'" she sulked, slumping back down into the flight seat, focussing on catching her breath again.

Whatever could this unexpected transmission possibly reveal?

Rachel smiled as the young woman closed the door behind her. "Yes it most certainly is thank you for letting me join you." She then watched as [member="Tempest Yore"] got up dancing as the ship began leaving. Rachel was really tempted to join herself. It had been a while since she had just let herself go and just as she went to the ships systems went off. She sighed moving back to a seat.

"I know right sometimes I think I should just go out to let my hair down again." She turned looking at the console "So what was it that began beeping for attention today? Another asteroid belt or some kind of signal." She sighed she had just wanted some time off she really didn't need to go back to working again especially since she had been forced to go and relax by her master.
