- Configurations: Only with a Jedi's lightsaber as a key, do the ship's weapons function but they can be set in 2 configurations. In the lethal configuration, the weapons act as laser cannons to deal damage. In the non-lethal configuration, they fire as ion cannons to disable other ships instead.
- Jedi Piloting: The ship was exclusively designed and built for Jedi and thus takes into account their superior reflexes and ability to tap into the Force to predict the next move an opponent will make. Using Force Crystals, the Jedi's abilities are strengthened, allowing them to perform even better within the cockpit of the ship.
- Defensive: Jedi serve to protect, not to be aggressors — this ship focuses on speed, maneuvrability and proper defenses to protect its pilots and give them the tools necessary to perhaps even disable an enemy ship, rather than blow it apart.
- Disabling: The Non-lethal configuration of the ship's weapons allows it to fire ion cannons with the goal to disable the enemy small craft. It provides the Jedi pilots with a way to end conflict without casualties when possible.
- Firepower: Built with a focus around the Jedi's philosophy of self-defense, the Jedi Vector Mk 2 possesses only very average firepower. Its effectiveness to take down enemy fighters thus relies heavily on the skill of the pilot, rather than the weapons at their disposal.
- Concentration: With how incredibly fast and agile the fighter is, only Jedi can fly it safely but it requires intense concentration. Injury disrupting focus or a lack of concentration, to begin with, will impair the effectiveness greatly.
- Jedi Pilots: The Jedi Vector can only safely be used by Jedi, so under no circumstances will other allies be able to make use of the fighter, thereby limiting how many will ever see active use greatly.

A classic design from Valkeri Enterprises built originally for the Jedi of what is now called the High Republic Era, the Jedi Vector was designed to play into the unique strengths of Jedi as pilots, and offer them a fighter platform that took into account their Order's philosophy. Its incredible speed and maneuverability make it very difficult to fly, but in the hands of a skilled Jedi pilot, few ships can keep up with the Jedi Vector.
But in an attempt to improve on this old design,
Zoraya Dara
launched a program for a refit that modernized its weapons, strengthened its hull with a Durasteel-Laminanium alloy, and added shields to offer the Jedi even more protection. Together with its signature lightsaber-key and the option to switch between a non-lethal and lethal configuration, the Jedi Vector Mk 2 is ready to help the New Jedi Order in their war against the Brotherhood of the Maw, and in wars to come.
