STRENGTHS

Bulletproof:
Er'gerak is an alloy of Malabast, Neutronium and Aluminium. By combining the super-hardness of Malabast and the Ultra-dispersive properties of Neutronium, Er'gerak is essentially impenetrable against small and medium arms fire, energy or kinetic
Atmospheric Speed: When deployed to worlds with a standard or above-standard gravitational constant, the Nimscall Pod can be expected to travel anywhere between Mach 3 and Mach 10 (3704.4kmh - 12,348kmh). These speeds make the pod almost impossible to catch up to in conventional space or atmospheric craft, limiting interception to specially designed guided weaponry

WEAKNESSES

Stationary:
Once embedded in the ground, the Nimscall pod will not move. This makes it an easy target for artillery and other heavy fire
Oscillation Stress Susceptibility: The use of Malabast in much of the hull makes the pod weak against sustained sonic stresses. Persistent oscillations in the hull's microstructure can cause crack propagation and ultimately, shattering.

DESCRIPTION

The Nimscall Drop Pod is a dedicated ballistic transport for the Nimscall Terraformer. Serving as both a transport and armor, the pod is ejected from orbiting Bryn'adul warships and follows a ballistic trajectory to the ground. The force-based flight computer is programmed to extend the four major panels of the drop pod once airspeed or atmospheric density reaches a certain value. These panels air-brake, reducing the pod's velocity so that it can impact the ground without endangering its own structural integrity or the Terraformer inside.

The Pod's hull is built of Er'gerak. Er'gerak is an extremely resilient, aerospace-specific alloy of the Bryn'adul's native Malabast, Aluminium and Neutronium.
Aluminium: Composing 49% of the alloy's total structure, aluminium makes the pod relatively light and counteracts the extreme density of Malabast
Neutronium: Neutronium makes up another 46% of Er'gerak's structure. Such a high percentage gives the pod ultra-dispersive properties. This resilience to massive energy flux allows the pod to endure any re-entry conditions and the vast majority of small to medium energy fire without compromising the hull's integrity
Malabast: Malabast makes up the remaining 4% of Er'gerak. Although a small percentage, the pod still benefits from significant mechanical hardness and density. These properties stop the the pod from simply smashing to pieces on impact and give it massive resistance against kinetic fire.
