The Homecoming Festival

The Feast of the Crystal Spirit had always been one of great importance to the magickal women who dwell upon Dathomir, as it followed the rule of celestial alignment. It is a time of great celebration for all Dathomir born. The historical significance is representative of the arrival of the Jedi Allya upon Dathomir, who taught her lessons to the ancestors which begot the original Witches of Dathomir, whose coven later divided birthing forth the Nightsisters.

The landing on Dathomir was abuzz all week with the hum of ships' engines bringing the return of Her residents. The alignment occurred last three hundred thirty-eight years, four hundred seventy-two days ago. The track of the wayward comet key to the success of the declaration, her tail raining crystal shards across the Dathomir System that could be seen as a sheen with the setting sun.

A Drum Circle beating vibrantly, stretched all across the land as the elders of every coven came together in peace. The nightfall brought a great bonfire, as all the clans came together in the spirit of unity and kindred. The covens of Nightbrothers joined their sisters in rejoicing over the historical event, and were wholly welcome.

* * *

It had been a long and tedious journey for the Nightsister Mistress Pom Stych Tivé to finally be prepared to return to her homeworld. She had undergone a most unpredictable and personal change, during these past few months. She learned a lot about herself through meeting new people, and what she desires to achieve in this life. It had always been about learning for the preservation of her people, her Will now expanded to incorporate those who also harbor ambition to honor her heritage in the continuance of her craft. That craft which always extended solely from the ways of the Nightsisters, now extends towards interests of additional learning, those of the white witch ways as well.

The two historically opposing witch covens of Dathomir worship two different gods whose popular tale consists of The Ones, with the Nightsisters beholden to the Fanged God, while the Witches of Dathomir to the Winged Goddess. Each held to different views on which magick is, and that which is not, deemed acceptable. Much like the dogma between the Jedi and the Sith, the Witches of Dathomir uphold to a personal standard based on an ethical approach, and the Nightsisters put obtaining their objective first, at any cost to the Soul, over that of moral principle.

This Nightsister became an enigma momentarily, for her choosing to put away her more sinister practices, mostly those revolving around Sorcery, for practices considering the softer side of magick; and yet guidance is required regarding just to what extent certain practices such a one as the Winged Goddess does approve. Spell Casting had been cut and dry for her, 'I know how, therefore I may do so as I please,' was her way for all her life past, evolving little notable hiccups along her recent journey to understanding. Yet, not so many questions exist today as had mere weeks before when she began learning from the Jedi among the Grayson Imperium, after the Mistress underwent a snap inside her mind; that snap evolved out of a morbid event which took her from knowing peace, to wanting to burn someone alive who goes by the name Kezeroth. Her ambition today, leads her to incorporate both deities, leaving her heart and intentions teetering towards shades of Gray.

It is a true honor and a miracle to be on Dathomir during this time of great festivities. Pomsty had no foreknowledge regarding the celestial alignment which would occur, only the elders caught onto the development, which includes a strict specific trajectory of the erratic path of a passing comet. Word spread first throughout the coven encampments, then over intergalactic channels to invite all abroad to return home in the spirit of sacred sisterhood, and brotherhood!

Pomsty slowly walked the dock overhanging the magickal lake, searching for familiar faces within the increasing crowd which gathered on land. Her sisters here she knew well, but her heart mostly longed to see those whom she knew to be offplanet at the start. She prays have heard the call to appear, and be present to celebrate this momentous event.

Amaris was a bit... Nervous. It was crowded on the dock overhanging the lake. And while it was beautiful, she found her fingers gently tracing the scars of a formerly painful bite. It had only been recently that she had even found out she was Force sensitive - a mere accident, really. But, here she was, swept away in the possibilities almost immediately afterwards.

Lucky for the Felacatian, she had ran into Pomsty, who was apparently a witch elder within the Imperium. And Amaris, unsure of what to really do with her newfound abilities, decided to stick around with her to figure out what exactly it all meant. Who else to best

Plus, being called a witch was pretty cool. But she had already decided she was going to stick to the path of the Winged Goddess. A white witch, apparently, was the term. It resonated more with her than the other paths. Light, beacon of good, and all that. Gave her fuzzies that she could be something more in life than a slicer, mechanic, and generally falling into bad but fun (and generally overly dangerous) situations.

In the festival, Amaris found herself daydreaming over the beautiful magical lake. Blue eyes caught Pom, though, and Amaris immediately glided over to her with a smile and a small wave of her hand. "Hey! Thank you for letting me tag along, it's... Wow, amazing." Amaris spoke calmly, although her nerves slightly showing, one ear slightly laid back against her head betraying her emotions more. In truth, she was a bit in culture shock by it all - so many people who followed the witches path had shown up.

Had she really been missing so much?

A sliver in reality pivoted and gave form to one in the place they had left Dathomir long ago. There were many doors scattered across differing planes, if you knew where to look. This one in particular was hers. A lock and key fastened by performing an arduous ritual; one bound to her in this. Unlike her departing home, the spirits were not so traumatic and eager to sink their teeth into her flesh as she traveled the way back. It had taken time, but when one had allies in the realm of spirits the invisible pathways were easier to find once more.

Vytal Noctura, Nightsister of Dathomir, left that grove with four others -- Sisters that had accompanied her to the stars. Together they swept through the lethal wilds of the dark world toward the Gathering. They were cautious not only of the wild beasts, but of the Sith and their minions. It would be unfortunate if the Nightmother of the Mandragora were forced to slaughter people of a faction the Confederacy had a Non-Aggression Pact with. Then again, if they sought to bar her from Dathomir they would need to start a fight she would happily finish. Not that either party would appreciate the political nightmare that resulted. She did her part in avoiding such entanglements.

When they arrived, the four Sisters were sent out to find those they'd left behind. Perhaps they could re-establish relations. Perhaps they'd find themselves ostracized for leaving without permission. Things would be as the Fanged God and Winged Goddess willed it, and their own strength made it so.

Left to herself, the green-eyed Witch made her way through the Sisters present in no particular hurry. A faint smile and a sharp gaze greeted those that looked in her direction. Every now and then she struck up conversation, but there was always a sliver of uncertainty in her dealings with others. She was a Nightsister, but not a Mother or even a Great Mother that the Clans of Dathomir knew; why then did Vytal seem to posses the reserve and posture of one? It was best not to involve potential, complicated politics at an occasion such as this one. The Nightmother of Ryloth made no effort to announce herself or make claim to anything.

That said, there was a whisper here or there of Witches eager to purge 'weakness' from the Clans. Such talk did solicit mention of Sisters that had made their way to Ryloth -- should any require a home away from home. Somewhere outsiders would not get their talons sunk into them or their secrets.

From a short distance, Vytal noticed Pomsty among those present. She lifted one hand and whispered a few, softly spoken words before she cast the spell forth. A butterfly made of green ichor appeared and fluttered before Pom in silence.

To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
Meanwhile, Janick was so busy in the Ison Corridor campaign of the OPA, and on Mustafar as well, whose aim was to root out a First Order remnant called the Dosuun Hegemony. She was one of the OPA's computer experts, while serving on distinction on Mustafar as well. Not as much as she would have hoped for, but better than nothing. But when she arrived on Dathomir, she realized that she couldn't simply reveal her real identity to the local authorities, especially not after what happened on Rhen Var. So she went there under some assumed fake identity, some "licensed insolvency trustee" on assignment for some Pau'an client going bankrupt. That, even though the real LIT assigned to that case in question was someone else in the coven back on the Fourth Moon of Utapau that had no known dealings with the Sith. Upon arriving at the dock by the lake, she could immediately recognize Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura for having infused knowledge into her, but the other two attendees currently there ( Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé and Amaris Tanenat) she never met. But she'd keep quiet until all the attendees are present. It's entirely possible Celeste Cavataio Celeste Cavataio could be late to the party, however.

Elayne drops off of her bonded companion, Buttercup. She reassures her friend and makes her way towards the building. They had made their way towards this festival figuring it would be a good way to meet others not of her clan. She led the Singing Mountain clan in her mothers absence as Clan Mother and still lived here on Dathomir. However, she had long learned that while Nightsisters see things differently, they can normally get along. There had been many movements to work together instead against each other and as such Elayne smiled at the sight of her fellow sisters. She however realized she didn't know anyone. So she smiled and nodded at her fellow witches but hesitated in talking to anyone. Elayne had at one point left this planet but returned. Now she looked at the homecoming of so many witches and wondered why so many now were of the night, were the teachings of Allya not enough?

Still it was heartening to see so many. That their numbers swelled to this, was good. Surely that meant good things were on the horizon. She made her way through the men and women smiling and nodding at them in passing. Elayne felt very alone with so many strange faces. She should of brought her mate, then at least she would of have him to keep her company. However he was busy with his own tasks, one keeping the children out of trouble. She found a cup and took a drink of it with a deep breath. It was time to get over her lack of knowing anyone. She approached the first person she found. "Hello, I am Elayne Hawk, Clan Mother of the Singing Mountain Clan."

Pom would never deny teaching someone who is dedicated to learning about her way of life. In fact she is deeply honored to share her culture with those of the Grayson Imperium who wanted to experience coven life on Dathomir. Any addition to the power of individuals involved in rituals is always a plus to the overall coven success; and they certainly are always successful. Likewise is no question asked too small to deserve an answer, and when they involve magick, they are all important questions! Pom believes growth in numbers shall only improve the perseverance of her culture! Or course, there are well kept secrets most certainly, Magick that only the Nightsisters can know to assure their dominance in their Craft. Should her new family choose to become fully indoctrinated into the Sisterhood, it is only then that more doors of knowledge are opened up to them. There are many things that only the elders know about, which constitute very dangerous Magicks. These secrets are passed from Nightmothers, who determine who should be the next in succession to hold such crucial secrets, and the curse to never practice such craft. No magick should be allowed to die out is the motto, as its mere awareness of existence could mean it may be in active practice among an enemy clan. One cannot battle something they do not understand. Understanding must be preserved.

She smiled at Amaris Tanenat for her curiosity. "It is my honor that you took interest in our way of life," she replied.

Pom harbors a deep pride for her coven but there is no one she loves deeper than her true sister Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura . They developed their craft together within the cradle, and Pom knows her sister's signature probably better than she can determine her own. There is none Pom could be more proud of than she for her personal and public accomplishments. Little could this witch know that a great change is in store for herself in her very near future, one which surely would put to rest any of Vytal's insecurities which she may harbor concerning the recent development surrounding Pom's current choices and future among their coven. Pom shall come to start her own sect among the Grayson Imperium.

Pom smiled at the apparition flaunted before her senses, and she turned to spot Vytal as she approached. Pom rushed to her with a hug, and she said, "Isn't this a wonderful time to come home!" She turned to Amaris and introduced the two. "This is my newest initiate, Amaris. Amaris, this is my darling sister, Nightmother to the Mandragora, Vytal Noctura."

Pom noticed Janick Beauchamp Janick Beauchamp standing near, but she did not recognize this witch. She introduced herself, "I am Pom Stych Tivé. This is Amaris, and my sister Vytal," she said extending her hand. This is after all a great and historical feast of Allya, without whose generous spiritual intercession, her people would never have evolved any notoriety nor enduring presence amidst this turbulent galaxy.

Elayne Hawk Elayne Hawk walked right up and introduced herself. Pom smiled and greeted her warmly in return. "I had been among your coven members to learn your methods of healing these past few months," she said. "It is an honor to finally meet you." Pom only recently learned about what lightsiders off-world call the Ashla, who she most certainly believed to be one and the same as the Winged Goddess. She had mostly been assigned to a host family during her stay there, her friends from the Grayson Imperium lodged with her. She extended a hand and gave a nod of her head, respectfully.

In the distance bells resonated. The festival would begin with the ceremonial waking of The Sleeper.

A festival for both sides of the same blood, of dark and light. It was strange indeed, but not unwelcome. Nezira had been curious about this so call festival ever since the clan mother told the coven about the upcoming event. A festive gathering of those and follows the Winged Goddess and Fanged God. What the still young Nightsister found strange, was the fact that both sides did not particularly like each ever since the split from the teachings of Allya, yet this gathering invited everyone to celebrate. While not everyone from Nezira's the coven went as some still needed to keep the safety of their home secure, a lot of the clan went to this festival.

As the clan rode on the large Gaping spiders, Nezira and the rest made their way across the expansive terrain of Dathomir, only stopping for a short stop of rest for their animals. not really having met many of the other clans on the planet, it made Nezira stomach hurt with nervosity but strangely also a weird sense of excitement.

Leading the clan, was the Mother and as the sun started to set, forming a beautiful sunset of orange colours, enhancing the red colours of the planet, the clan could finally hear the welcoming beat of drums. Better late than never, the clan finally arrived on the outskirts of the festivals as the last couple of people would arrive. Nezira's eyes went wide as she saw how many clans were present at the Homecoming festival. Vex, Nezira's Gaping spider, made some nervous clicking sounds with its appendages, as it could feel its owner's nervosity. "Shhh shhh, it's okay Vex" assured Nezira, patting her spider on the head.

It was truly a sight to behold as the clan made their way to the festival. To say they got a lot of eyes on them, would be an understatement of the year. A lot of whispers started to form, as more clans started to notice the large-sized spiders and the Spider coven riding them. It was quite obvious that some of the other clans were not particularly happy with seeing a Spider-clan at the festival but by orders from the multiple clan mothers, they didn't voice their displeasure with the newly arrived clan.

The clan mother turned to her own much larger Gaping spider than the rest and said a few words, before watching the spider leave with the rest of the giant spiders. Nezira and her spider, Vex, looked at each other, "don't worry, I'll be alright, just go with the rest" expressed the young Nightsister, caressing the side of the spider's head. Watching her spider follow the rest disappeared into the vast and lush jungle, Nezira turned around to face the enormous gathering of Nightsisters and witches. "Okay Nez, deep breath, what's the worse that could happen, we're all one big happy family" repeated Nezira a few times, still nervous as she along with her clan joined the grand festival.

Her Clan Mother went to sit with the rest of the other Clan Mothers and a few from her clan seemed to know others, making Nezira stand alone by a three, unsure what to actually do. She could hear the rhythmic almost trans-like drumbeat as people gathered around the large impressive bonfire, to dance and enjoy themselves. Nezira wasn't much of a dancer, never learned or found a reason to start. A lot of smaller fires around served hunted food for the massive gathering, which made Nezira's stomach growl a bit. "What do you think Kira, should we get some food?" Asked Nezira her little jumping spider, glancing up at her normal-sized pet spider.

Heading over to one of the fires, the young Nightsister had to wait for a bit, until it was her turn. However, when it finally was her turn, she quickly got a decent sized meat meal. As she ate her meal, she ripped small pieces off of it and fed her jumping spider Kira.

Hearing the distance bells resonate, Nezira tried to find her clan members, but sadly got lost in the crowd and ended bumping into a black-haired woman Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé , "oh, I'm sorry" apologized Nezira, taking a step back, feeling a bit stupid now. Kira, her spider started to climb down the side of her head and found a relaxing spot on Nezira's shoulder, watching things unfold.

Vytal smiled and opened her arms to Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé as her Sister rushed in to welcome her. "It is always a wonderful time to come home," she said light heartedly, "but I'm overjoyed to see so many Sisters in one place." Today was a special time of year, of course. Vytal had understood exactly what Pom had meant, but likewise her Sister would understand what she meant as well. Being away from the seat of power for the Nightsisters could be...difficult, especially for young ones that set out to the stars. There were preciously few places like home -- only a powerful Dark Side Nexus came close.

The Nightmother from Ryloth turned her gaze upon Amaris at Pom's prompting. "Pom's initiate. Well, I am pleased to meet you, Sister." Vytal extended both hands out to Amaris Tanenat to hold them in greeting. "You can be sure whatever happens, there will be a potion for it." Pom being quite fond of making her concoctions. There was no denying their effectiveness either.

Soon after Pom's attention was drawn to another. This one, Janick Beauchamp Janick Beauchamp , Vytal was acquainted with, and drew a small smile over her dark lips. "Pom, this is Janick of the Utai Magic Circle. You may find you have a different focus on the application of magick, but I think you'll enjoy one another's desire to discover new creations."

Next, Vytal found their little assembly of women graced by Elayne Hawk Elayne Hawk of whom the Nightmother did not know. Given Pom's introduction, however, that might become quickly apparent. There had been a time, after all, when her dear Sister had explored the Other Side, so to speak. Whether that would remain or change with time, only time could ever tell, but Vytal supported her Sister in her endeavors. Studying the vast world around them, understanding it, and ensuring its continuation was their purpose. Let the offworlders busy themselves wasting resources conquering the galaxy.

As they stood there talking, however, another soul drew near. This one entered the strange a touch less gracefully, but given the number of Sisters present such things would bound to happen. Fanged God's luck Pom was no rancor. Vytal smiled patiently over at Nezira Viresh Nezira Viresh but awaited Pom's response before inserting herself into the situation.

Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura

Adilya sat; hands placed gently in her lap as she felt the transport carrier setting down, she was here, she was at Dathomir — not that Adi needed some loud voice or sign to know ( as if she could read it ), no — there was a primal feeling in the aura that this place gave. It was ancient, it drew her and if her lead had been right, she was hopeful this would be a place she could seek refuge in, learn from and grow with.

It had been a long road, no — not the ride over, but the road getting her to this point. Her mother, her Father — Feth, her own culture found her to be a perversion of what they ‘felt’ was natural to their beliefs. She didn’t fit the perfect little mold they expected her to have emerged from — no, from day one she had been different. Born with a mixed heritage; half Kiffar and Miraluka, she emerged seeing the blue sky that Mother Ashla had provided. She remembered chasing firebugs at night; counting stars till she feel asleep, and the birds that so freely flew with no fear of being caged and shackled in the restraints of daily life, and its duties. She remembered it all - the good; the bad - and then that day came. Adi grew up in a house, or I suppose a family that seemed to be important. Her father frequently consulted for a Jedi Faction on her homeworld and frequently was caught in politics. A group of men, took her — made fun of the seeing mutt; and her last sight was of the men taking that from her. The darkness was awful; they took it all — and the worst was her parents expected her to forgive and acted as if nothing had happened, that somehow this had all been Ashla’s will.

Her mother worked with Adi for years to harness the force to see, the grueling task of learning how to see again at times seemed impossible, until it happened. Pictures, faces, people, auras began to come to her. Whispers in the dark from a Father that wanted to love her. Bogan had entered her heart and began to show her the path through the seemingly impassable darkness in her mind, and heart. Years passed, she grew in understanding of how the world really worked. There were those, like her parents that fit a predetermined mold, filled with idyllic beliefs and predispositions... and then, there were those like Adi, who determined the mold they were to be forced into was not good enough. She sought her justice as years progressed on the men that stole the light from her eyes — and when her family found out, those she thought to be loved ones — shunned her like common rabble; pretending they had never know her, and wanted nothing to do with what they felt was a mere murderer and wound in the force, one who allowed Bogan to creep in and grow. Then, much like the shadows, she disappeared.

For years she lived on the streets of her own home world in the wild; stealing at times just to survive and eat — struggling to win back love and approval. She trained in silence — honing her ability to see through the force. She endured loneliness beyond belief, she longed for someone to love her; but came to the realization as long as she loved herself, valued her life, she would pull through. Dark rumors of a coven, a place of witches came up one day while she eavesdropped on a group of women, and as the words were breathed into existence; the yearning in her heart to be loved once again came to fruition, she felt the pull to go, break free from the shackles she created that kept her in place and so — Adi found the first freighter off the forsaken world she once called a home and sought a new home, a new family, a sisterhood.

World after world, system after system. She learned to adapt on her way over. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months — and before she realized it, years had passed and she was on her way to the coven. She found a supply ship that was supplying food and supplies for the celebration they were hosting, and using persuasion she found herself on that freighter, the firebugs from childhood past now fluttering lightly in her stomach. She was on her way. Her strength had gotten her this far, relief sweeping over her tired and restless form.

The wind hit her face as she stepped off the loading ramp, scarred and dimmed eyes covered by a cloth band as the young Adi ( 18 STY ) moved towards the noise of celebration and the grouped aura that surrounded the area. She felt strange and new sensations as she meekly approached the edge of the gathering, staying towards the shadows. The auras felt, not evil, but not what those in her culture would call good - no — they felt enticing and comforting to Adi. Would these people accept her? What were they like? What was true from rumors heard. She wasn’t sure, but she knew as she had sensed them, one would sense her and so she waited to be addressed.

To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
"Also, if any of you go deep in debt, the Utai Magic Circle will happily put their insolvency trustee at your disposal. Even if you're solvent, if you find some need for alchemized electronics, or for infusing/downloading knowledge, that's what I'm here for"

Newcomers arrived that she never met at all ( Nezira Viresh Nezira Viresh and Adilya Solveig Adilya Solveig ) while new faces, such as Elayne Hawk Elayne Hawk , were now in her memory. However, she could feel Amaris Tanenat kept quiet. Truth to be told, she kind of expected witches to be unsophisticated financially, but although she did know a thing or two about accounting, about testing for solvency, she wasn't able to act as an insolvency trustee. Janick advertising the Circle's licensed insolvency trustee (LIT) services would likely come at a surprise to Pom Stych Tivé Pom Stych Tivé and Celeste Cavataio Celeste Cavataio , however, because nobody would expect a Force-user of any denomination to be a practicing LIT, and that very few of them could even tell what makes someone insolvent: either it was one's liabilities that exceeded one's assets (the balance-sheet kind) or it was one's cash outflow that greatly exceeded one's cash inflow (the cash-flow kind). Yet, she feels that alchemized electronics or infusing/downloading knowledge would be much more likely to be acted upon than LIT services.

Elayne smiled at Pom. "I am honored to meet you as well. While we may differ in beliefs my Clan is always open to those who come with peaceful intentions. I must say many of you use the spacefarers technology, I was surprised how much technology is here and that you seem to speak basic. Thankfully I spent some of my younger days among the stars and learned basic. I hope we can work together in the future for our people. I dread those who claim they own this planet. I am glad we can still gather and celebrate together."

It was interesting being here, she couldn't stop looking around while trying to pay attention to those in her vicinity. She listened and smiled trying to understand what they were all saying however it was discovered that she was finally lost. "Excuse me but what is Insolvency and being solvent? Also what are Alchemized electronics, I know now isn't the time to get into these things but perhaps you can fill in my ignorance later. " Whatever it was, it sounded useful. She had to admit that she had let her simple life here on the planet get to her. Her clan didn't have the sky peoples technology, They relied on the land and each other. Granted there was some from trades and appropriated from those who would harm them but usually they would trade those for more useful things. It seemed that even her own people had passed her clan by, forgetting the old ways or at least some of them. She sent reassuring thoughts towards her Rancor who clearly didn't like the commotion of this gathering.

The spider coven arrived altogether, and at the announcement of the coven name by the master of ceremonies, the rest of the gatherers applauded. They did so as a welcome signal to all new arrivals. It is a great maturity to put aside one's differences and celebrate where we all have come from. Those who cannot, do not understand their heritage. Blood is most more honorable over any such verbal vow.

Nezira Viresh Nezira Viresh arrived as well upon the back of the spider species and bumped into Pom apologizing, to which Pom turned and immediately introduced herself. She introduced Nezira to those she has just met herself, and likewise to those she knew well. "I have heard tell about your clan and am pleased to finally make your acquaintance. Please join our little group!"

Vytal Noctura Vytal Noctura is as usual her cheerful self. Pom felt overjoyed to be able to share this once in a lifetime event with her family. Everyone from their childhood days were present. Pomsty had just come from bidding her respect to her own Mother and her Aunts, one of which is Vytal's Mother who is highly pleased to hear of her daughter's good fortune. In her family's hut she met those she loved whose faces she hadn't seen in years. Of course the women all urged her to bear offspring, even so far as to coax her to mate with any of the fine available young men from the neighboring Nightbrother clans. She half expected the word "AVAILABLE" to be etched into her forehead without her knowledge! This would be a rare occasion where the Nightbrothers were welcome to pay their homage to their roots side by side with their superiors.

Adilya Solveig Adilya Solveig , a young face, arrived and stood along the outskirts, to which Pom was close enough to take a few steps towards and introduce herself and encourage the same from the others nearby. This is no time for shyness! She would explain anything that is about to happen to any of the younger ones who might inquire. She hopes all are feeling welcome. "Won't you join us?" understanding some came to Dathomir today, not yet knowing the exact current location of their familial ties.

Janick Beauchamp Janick Beauchamp announced her business and spoke of debt relief. Pom remarked, "Oh, I simply sell Potions to afford my needs." That is true to this date, she never lived a day yet outside her means, as Magick provided for all of them. Neither does she prefer space travel. She would rather Apparate to travel throughout the galaxy, even at the expense of risking her life in this manner, over that of being burned to a crisp by a wayward asteroid. At least with traveling in the Netherworld she can face her dangers head on and have some sense of control!

Elayne Hawk Elayne Hawk 's greeting, Pom found to be heartfelt. She too hoped to keep the peace between the worshippers of the Fanged God and the Winged Goddess. Today is Holy and no trespass shall be forgiven.

Elayne mentioned technology, likely due to Janick's announcement, Pom figured. "I don't prefer it or understand it either, Elayne, so you are not alone there. I cannot speak for Vytal however, her being in charge of a coven and all. She may have more experience and even a need for such advanced things." Pom lives on the outskirts of her coven. She is their first line of defense should someone land with ill-mannered intentions. Typically she drugs outsiders and deals with them without needing to call upon others. Her neighbors are charged with the same responsibility. Her services come with the promise of repayment through the granting of Magical merits. Were it up to Pom's Mother to state the payment, it would be in babies!

Elayne commented on her dislike for the Sith. Pom understood the contrasting differences between the Sith and the good natured witches, however her and Vytal's preferences seemed to be to remain out of the controversial war between the two opposing extremes. She used to experience severe physical aversion for the Ashla until she studied the white arts herself. She also bed a Sith or two, and although she found them tantalizing indeed, they were not as radically appeasing as her Nightbrother callers. In her mind, so long as the Nightmother decreed peace with the Sith, then she shall honor it.

"Everyone, this is my sister, Vytal. I am sure she has prepared a special Incantation for us to commune with our First Mother Allya." Such is a special gift Vytal always had. "Perhaps you and Elayne will start with blessing our bonfire along with the Nightmothers who congregate today! But please dance alongside me, for it has been an exceptionally long time since we have worshipped together!" Vytal has earned the honor of her place among the festivities overseers.

The gong was sounded for the blessing, and then the raising of the Sleeper, who the Initiates would wrestle for the glory of their passage!

It was all quite overwhelming for Nezira, having everyone's attention, even if it was just for a bit when Pom introduced herself and the group she was with. Unsure what to do exactly, she gave Pom and the rest a small wave and smile, "I'm Nezira" she introduced herself feeling a bit awkward about herself. Nezira had never been one for great gatherings or lively events and growing up within a secluded clan in the Singing Mountain, did not help the matter of her situation.

"Oh... I'm sure most of it isn't exactly friendly rumors" replied young Nightsister with an awkward smile to Pom, as the Spider Clan, doesn't exactly have the best reputation, as they would often fight other clans, especially those that followed the Winged Goddess. While Nezira has never gotten to be part of these specific kinds of raids and attacks, she knew it made the attacked clans very hateful of her clan. She even passed a few of the clans that her clan has attacked the last couple of moons ago.

However, the group she had just been invited into, seemed to be colourful and friendly enough. Swallowing her nervousness, she followed the group to the area of the festival where the waking of the Sleeper, would take place. While Nezira kept herself in the back of the group, not one for usually starting conversations with people. Not that she didn't want to be part of the festive conversation of the other sisters, she just wasn't a conversation starter.

It was absolutely insane how many clans had managed to get the invitation to the gathering, but once everyone had arrived, a large circle was formed, with an elevated platform for all the Clan Mothers to stand on, so everyone could see them. Chairs on the platform formed a semi-circle, where each Clan Mother sat, waiting for everyone to find a place to stand.

Once everyone had gathered around the ground cave entrance and quiet down, the oldest Clan Mother rose from her seat and walked forward to the edge of the platform. "My dear fellow sisters, I thank you all for joining us in this Feast of the Crystal Spirit, a way for us to throw away our difference, even if it's only for this gathering" Begun the Elder, getting everyone's attention.

Standing with Pom and the other sisters, listening to the Elder speak. Looking past the Elder, she could see her own Clan Mother, sitting at the edge of the semi-circle, playing with her spider talisman, listening and waiting for when it's her time to speak.

"Let us all celebrate this union by calling forth the initiatives that are about to undergo their initiation and becoming full members of their Clan!" Announced the Elder with a clear and booming voice. Then she started to call forth those from her own clan, who would go venture down an awake the Sleeper and gain their status as a Sister of their clan.

One after another, the Clan Mothers called upon their young initiatives, lining them up beside each other.
