Description: The Q23 armour is the results of several years of development by Prototype Lab Q to produce an affordable stealth suit. The design features a range of clever, yet simple tricks that demonstrate the ingenuity of the lab.
One of the main features of the suit is an adaptive camouflage surface, designed to allow the wearing to work unseen. This system uses an eletrochromatic surface that can choose from 10s of thousands of patterns and an infinite variation of colour. Using sensors it will detect the brightness and colour of its surroundings and present a new camouflage pattern. As the user moves, the pattern will adapt and sometimes shift across the user in the opposite direction to the motion to blend their outline in further. (This is NOT a full stealth system. It is only capable of choosing an exception camouflage pattern, it does not make the wearer appear “invisible” against the background. If the suit suffers damage, whole portions of the suit will revert to a dark shade of grey and no longer adapt.)

The suit is sealed off. A thermovoltaic mesh system sits outside of an inner body glove. This is designed to keep the surface of the suit at the temperature of the surroundings. This will also power the suit and camouflage systems when the outside temperate is lower than the body temperature of the user. However, it will draw power and use a cooling system in the opposite condition. It is only effective from 0-45C. This leaves the outside of the suit at background temperature, negating IR sensors. The mesh is also used to interfere with common lifeform sensors that attempt to detect the bio-electric signature of living beings (this is an assumption: I cannot find a definition of how these work).

Between the camouflage and inner mesh, is the main body of the armor. A thin layer of armorweave covers the whole user. Over key areas (chest, thighs, shoulders) plastoid plates are used to provide additional protection. The soles of the feet and elbows are cushioned to aid in silent movement.

Modularity
Modular Components:
The armour suit has data and power running through it in the same manner as Obsidian Armour, and has a standard fit for adding new components. Those components available or optional are shown below, but Knights may submit new components separately and list where they fit.

Helm
Standard:
Macrobinocular Viewplate w/Infrared Scanner
Encrypted, Internal Comlink (voice controlled)
Augmented Reality HUD: this is able to project information onto the user’s view. For example it can interface with tactical and comm systems to show where an approaching drone is in the sky, or another Knight is through a wall. It could interface with the sighting system of a grenade launcher to show where the round will land and approximate radius.
Motion/Audi Sensors: can highlight movement, or direction of a blaster shot to the user.
Audio/Visual Recorder
Optional (one):
One optional component [to be submitted separately or taken from Canon]

Back
Standard:
Broadband Antenna
Positioning System (equivalent to GPS)
Oxygen Filtration System
Powerpack for systems
Magnetic Holster for main weapon
Optional (one):
Charger/Carrier for Remotes [to be submitted separately or taken from Canon: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Remote]
Carrier for Droid Mines: http://starwarsrp.ne...-droid/?hl=mine
Turret Dispenser: http://starwarsrp.ne...q-micro-turret/

Forearms
Standard: N/A
Optional (Two):
Command and Control Terminal: Standard Datapad with ACA software for controlling droids. Comes with laser attachment for highlighting targets. Frequently used with Hailfire and Hunter-killer droid backup/
Spynet Terminal: Standard Datapad with Spynet software which includes a package of slicing software.
Wrist Blaster: http://starwarsrp.ne...-wrist-blaster/
Templar Shield: http://starwarsrp.ne...templar-shield/
Splinter knife brace and poison dispenser: Splinter Knifes

Belt
Standard: N/A
Optional (one):
Utility belt: http://starwarsrp.ne...r-utility-belt/
Personal Cloak: http://starwarsrp.ne...loaking-device/
Power Scavenger: http://starwarsrp.ne...ower-scavenger/

OOC: this isn't meant to be a perfect stealth suit for characters to abuse. It is intended to be relatively stealthy, and avoid other people using an auto-find button (life form scanners etc)
