  Alexander Au' Valerius was discovered in the cryo tube of an ancient vessel by the galactic alliance deep in unknown space. The large cumbersome vessel was seemingly from another time and of unknown origin. The Gothic interior of skulls and religious symbols very much foreign to the Galactic Alliance agents that discovered him in cryogenic sleep on the vessels bridge. They found him clad in armour that looked to be made of midnight. The suit absorbed all of the light around it and it gave the appearance of walking darkness. Upon waking from the cryogenic sleep Alexander found himself in familiar yet unfamiliar surroundings. The agents that assisted him in recovering from the disorientation wore unfamiliar suits and uniforms. His instincts told him to eliminate the intruders however he was unsure of who or what he was. All he could remember was his name and that he had a vague attachment to his armour and this ship.
  
  Despite the emotional attachment he had to the ship Alexander was convinced to leave the ship by the Galactic Alliance agents. It was at this moment that Sith forces also stumbled upon the vessel. Upon seeing the Galactic Alliance vessels circling around the Alexander's very own ancient ship they attacked without second thought. Sith forces assailed the ancient battle cruiser and attacked the Galactic Alliance ships circling it. It was at this point that Alexander proved his usefulness and assisted the Galactic Alliance forces in escaping relatively unscathed despite being outnumbered and outgunned. Upon arriving back in Galactic Alliance space he was recruited by the SIA. His natural instincts as an assassin from a past life proving invaluable and during his training it felt like he was relearning everything rather than being trained by superiors.
  
  Despite the medical attention and training Alexander has never recovered from his amnesia and knows little about himself. However, he does suffer the classic symptoms of PTSD and sometimes has visions and dreams of horror and combat that he believes were of his former life. As a result of his amnesia he is a classic loner and keeps people at arms length. In combat Alexander likes to use intimidation tactics and stealth to intimidate his foes. He takes on the persona of the Nighthaunter which he remembered from his past. In this guise Alexander is brutal and unforgiving. He feels most at home in this guise, pursuing his targets and not thinking.

  Personality: Alexander is quiet, polite and some may consider him slightly charming, in his own way. He is a man of few words and prefers to listen and ask questions rather than tell anyone about himself. Not that he wouldn't, but due to his profession and amnesia there really isn't much for him to tell. While working he is a man of cold steely resolve. But beneath that cold hard exterior is a vulnerable and insecure man who doesn't know his past and struggles to find a purpose for his future. Physically capable, but he is man that struggles with his demons.
  
  Appearance: Covered head to toe in a black MK I Nightsuit, in the darkness the Nighthaunter is pretty much invisible except for his two bright emerald eyes peering through the eye slits of his hood and mask. He is around average height for a human but on the shorter side for some other species within the galaxy. He is of a lighter build, however is this is not to say that he lacks strength. Years of working as an assassin in his previous life, has meant that there isn't an ounce of fat on him and he is very toned and muscular. If one were to remove his mask they would be greeted with an angelic face, which is rather ironic given the dark nature of the man wearing the mask. One might even consider him beautiful, with his dark hair, intense emerald eyes and high cheek bones.
• Strengths and Weaknesses
  Strengths:
  

  • Master of hand to hand combat.
  • Can scale buildings effortlessly.
  • Has a unique ability to disappear into the shadows, which is why he prefers to work at night.
  • Master of intimidation and torture, and has been known to enjoy it a bit too much.
  • Mastery of all forms of weaponry, from sniper rifles, to blasters, to knives and lightsabers.

  Weaknesses:
  

  • Loner
  • Rarely speaks and only speaks when spoken to.
  • Womanizer and is susceptible to female temptation.
  • PTSD from a former life which can sometimes cause him to freeze in combat
  • Often misunderstood as to what his motives are.
  • Has a soft spot for those that are vulnerable and weak, this can often lead to him being distracted in his missions.
