Nightfall.. (Isis and Tormax Training)

As night fell Isis remained in meditation to open her mind to the essence of the dark side, her quarters were far away from the academy where the apprentices were sheltered, it was a cool night and one that would help with the training regiment she had in store for her new apprentice.. the pelko bugs would be out and so would some of the other species.. this would be a nice night to do some intensive training.

As she rose she watched as her dimly lit quarters flickered in the candle lit light and she grabbed her things, she needed no cloak but she did grab her actual saberstaff and saber batons and placed them where they go, her saber batons were placed on the back of her belt so they would bounce off her arse as she walked and her saberstaff was placed in the back harness.

Funny thing is she knew she couldn't trust this apprentice, she knew he would try and kill her when he grew in power but she could care less actually since it was the way of the sith, so if he did ever betray her she would put him down, but that wouldn't be for a long while.. as she walked out of her room she made way to the outside of the building and then made her way toward the temple grounds where the academy lay and where the apprentices slept, she would meet him outside of his building.

Tormax awoke suddenly and rolled out of his bunk. He landed lightly on the floor, without the aid of the Force. It was something he liked to practice, moving silently. without having to use the Force. It would mean he could save his energy for other things. It's time. He thought to himself as he went through his stuff and clipped his training lightsaber upon his waist. It would only be their first official training session, but she would be impressed before the night was through.
Walking out of the dormitory ((?)) he stopped when he saw a silhouette in the darkness. He sensed it as his Master, he bowed to her. "Master." He said in greeting waiting for her instructions.

Seeing him there she watched as he bowed and glared at him for a moment as she seen his training saber clipped to his body, sighing she opened her senses and regarded him with an inner coldness Follow she commanded quietly as to not disturb the sanctity of the nights echoes and began to walk toward the outer most part of the planet, she would test his skill with the saber and would test his force powers..

As she lead him she could feel the chilled night air but it didn't phase her, she was skilled in cryokinesis so the air felt amazing to her, better than the intense heat of the days.. Walking out of the city she kept her sense alert in case they needed to deal with the pelko bugs that would be not only a danger but also a nuisance to them, they were headed for the caverns of the world to hunt some tarentatek so he could prove he is worthy of training, it would be a difficult mission but he would make sure to do it to prove himself.

He followed after her, his long strides letting him catch up until he was only a step behind her. He matched her pace easily and could only wonder where they were going until they started heading in the directions of the caverns. All the acolytes and apprentices of Korriban knew where and what was in the caverns. It was in the Archives, older apprentices had spoken about it. Those who had passed and survived their trials anyway. He breathed in and out, though he decided to act as if he didn't know where they were going.
"Where are we going?" He said fingering his lightsaber hilt.

Hearing his question only made her chuckle slightly and kept her attention to their surroundings.. she was leading him to a tomb in the caverns where there was reported to be a very nasty tarentatek, one that would likely kill him if he wasn't careful.

Keeping her pace she didn't even look back at him when she spoke I will see how strong you think you are, and what skill you have with a saber she said as she lead the way, getting to the caverns moments later she entered and tore her saber baton off her belt and activated it for light, leading the way into the caverns she was careful to not place her feet in traps and such.

He stepped in the same places that she did. He might as well be careful, it would be a shame to die prematurely. As long as she was taking precautions, so would he. "I only have this training lightsaber. It can't kill anything." He said simply. He wasn't against killing the tarentatek. He knew he would win, but it would be hard with a simple training lightsaber that was only capable of stunning..humanoids..and leave a minor burn on them. A tarentatek wouldn't even feel it.
This is going to be a long night. He thought as they walked into the darkness.

She heard him, she just chose to ignore it... one of the reasons she brought so many weapons was just in case this very thing happened, he was ill prepared and not equipped for the task at hand so she would let him use one of her saber batons.. they are shorter than normal sabers but still effective.

As they now started their descent into the caverns she sent a spark down into the cave which lit it for several seconds so she could see what was down there, finding nothing she continued to walk as they made their way to the tomb of an old dark lord.

He glanced behind him to already see that what little light from the night was already gone from sight. No doubt if he had to find his way out of there without the light he would be lost. Though it hardly mattered, he was going to walk out of there with a terentatek's hand. Or whatever they called it.
It was quite obvious they were entering a long forgotten and dead Dark Lord of the Sith's tomb, though he did not know which one. He did not know how to read Sith'ese yet. It was one of the things he needed if he were to learn Sith Magic. The Ancient Language of the Sith, and there weren't many left. He only hoped that they hadn't died out in combat against the Republic and their Jedi Warriors.
He sensed his time was coming close, and so he steeled himself, he expanded his senses out within the Force to understand his master's feelings within the Force. "Are we there yet?" He asked, his hands were clenched in fists. He was ready.

Leading him she focused more on the caverns and tunnels when she steered to the left and walked down an even more narrow path, several moments later they were there in zannah's tomb entrance.. it was an amazing thing to behold..

As she arrived she heard the stompings of the creature and sneered as she looked back at him and handed him the saber baton in her hand Slay the beast, but keep in mind it's hide is saber resistant she informed in a hiss and stepped aside and into the shadows waiting for him to get it done.

(OOC: Don't go trying to stab me now lol!)

((OOC: Would be stupid after just starting apprenticeship lol.))
Tormax took the baton into his hand. He swung it around his body slowly at first. He was preparing himself, he exuded calmness and at the same time the dark side came off of his presence. Though it seemed to be focused on only the terentatek. I'm going to feed off of your soup. He thought to himself as he walked forward to the terentatek. He unclipped the training lightsaber from his belt also and ignited the red blade up to the side as he walked past Isis. He was going to finish this beast as soon as possible.
With the aid of the Force he leapt up into the air to bring the saber baton down upon the beast. He wanted to test what she said for himself.

Watching him she smirked since he didn't know the only part of the beast that was able to be pierced was the beasts underbelly, and throat regions.. as she watched from the shadows she focused on the tarentek and made sure to keep a close watch on this battle.

He landed on the top of it as it swung it's arms up to meet him. He only wished he had some sort of beast companion to deal with this thing to help him. But he didn't. It seemed his Master was right in the fact that lightsabers were incapable of damaging it. He was thrown off the back of it and landed in a heap on the floor, scrambling back up to his feet. He leapt at it's throat and formed a force shield over his body as he came at it. He brought the baton to bear, and he stopped short, landing on the floor and with a sideways flip with the aid of the Force, force pushed the terentatek to unbalance it.
His force push did almost nothing except halt it for a moment in it's steps to stop him. In which it was too late from stopping him from plunging the training lightsaber straight into the terentatek's eyes. It may have only been a training lightsaber but it was still effective at tearing out the beast's socket, and practically stirring it into a melting mess. Before he could roar in triumph, it's hand came up and knocked him across the room, where he crashed into the wall. Thankfully, for his force shield had still been upon him he slowly got up, and turned sideways to face the half-blind terentatek.

Watching as he stabs the tarentatek in the eye and takes it out she smirks even more as the tarentatek slams him into the wall, her focus targeting the fight that is going on as her apprentice is doing a very good job of defeating the beast.

Watching as the beast is now rampaging she waves her had and makes the tarentatek focus on her apprentice as she used mind control on it to make it think he is a good source of food, smirking as it roars and stamps it feet and races off toward him with the intent to mess his world up.

He got back up to his feet. He looked over to the beast charging at him. Did it just lick it's teeth? He thought to himself as he started to run at it, performing his own charge. He hoped to surprise it when the force came into his legs and he performed a force speed, just fast enough to confuse it only to halt it in it's progress. It had swung at him at he was only moments ago, he stepped into it's swing and cut up along the inside of it's arm. He hoped it draw blood, or something to enrage it further. He spun on his heels and cut into the belly of the beast.
He opened it up, trying to use the Force to root it in place so that he wasn't thrown about, though the terentatek was still powerful. Even with it's wounds, it's tail swung around and he leapt over it tearing the beast further since it had moved with his weapons within it, and it was apparently killing itself.
He stepped into it further and summoned as much of the Force as he could to him, he used force spark. He shoved his hands into the wounds he created and the sparks was sent from his hands and into the beast. No doubt vaporizing it's insides.

(OOC: Apprentice level FU cannot cast force lightening, just wanna let you know since a lot of sith would seriously be upset with you trying.. you can however cast force spark)

Watching as he sparked the inside of the beast she smirked and started to walk toward him, the test was to show how good he could become with both the saber and his own force abilities, watching him tear it a a part she flicked her wrist and broke the beasts neck as she approached and nodded at him as she stood at the base of the beast Very good she praised as she looked at him Now what have you learned exactly? she asked as she stared him down.

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

((OOC: Oh, alright that's cool.))

He pulled his hands out of the beast and shook whatever innards had clung to his hands after he pulled them out. His presence within the Force flashed with anger as she herself killed the terentatek. "I have learned that the power of the Dark Side is infinite." He wasn't really thinking about what she was asking, he was more thinking about why she hadn't let him kill the beast, so he had elected to give her the first answer that came to his mind. "Is that it?"
@[member="Isis Fontana"]

Watching his mood swing closer she glared more as he answered and focused her mind so that it is unreadable and answered him back That answer will suffice she said as she remained civil about the whole thing How did it feel to know you could take on a beast like this? she asked this time with more interest.

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

He glanced over to the dead beast and grunted in response. He wondered if it time for them to leave yet before he almost forgot the question and answered. "That I was powerful." He said, fists clenched and unclenched as he watched the dead terentatek as if it would get back up. He knew it wouldn't, but he still wanted to kill the beast.
He stopped expanding his presence within the Force and he finally turned his head to look at her. "Are we leaving now?" After the fight he was getting tired, since he hadn't had a full night's rest yet. She would no doubt want to resume training within the morning. He would most definitely need to get his body accustomed to waking up at such peculiar hours.
@[member="Isis Fontana"]

Watching him as he asked this she looked to her baton and walked away leading him back to the city, she was a little tired herself and needed some rest and as she walked she kept her senses alert and ready to deal with just about anything, moments later they exited the caverns and were headed back to the city as she was leading them both to where they will part ways for the rest of the night which is basically the city limits.

She purposefully robbed him of his kill, it was to get him used to disappointment since he would not be able to enjoy killing at times due to some opponents merely being harder to kill off.

@[member="Tormax Tryte"]

H followed her out of the cavern rapidly. He followed her footsteps and the only thing he wished for at the moment was a soft pillow underneath his head. The fight with the terentatek had drained him and he wasn't accustomed to being awake at such hours. Once they had reached the city limits he bowed to her and asked, "when shall we meet again Master and where?" He said, he hooked his thumb through the belt while he waited for her response.
