STRENGTHS
  • Conventional Resistance: Night Terror Deathtrooper Armor is resistant to energy, kinetic, and thermal damage, making it useful at reducing damage from most standard infantry weapons.
  • Stalker: Coated in pitch-black reflec, Night Terror armor is nearly invisible in the dark and is difficult for passive (though not active) sensors to detect since it warps their frequencies.
  • Combat Evolved: Night Terror armor comes with an advanced helmet equipped with a comlink and heads-up display that can be linked to any compatible weapon. Put together, the features of the Night Terror Deathtrooper helmet enhance a soldier's combat capabilities by separating friend from foe, reducing the glare of flashbang grenades, and tracking ammunition stores.
WEAKNESSES
  • Heavy: Night Terror armor weighs nearly twenty-five kilograms, restricting the movement of the wearer. It takes a fit soldier to wear it effectively.
  • Headshot: A well-placed rifle shot in the visor of the Night Terror helmet can easily pierce the transparisteel to impact the exposed head underneath.
DESCRIPTION

Secretly commissioned at the request of the resurgent Galactic Empire, Night Terror Deathtrooper Armor is an advanced suit of armor meant to be equip the Empire's elite deathtroopers in the modern era. Like its predecessors, Night Terror armor is coated in pitch-black reflec, not only making it nearly invisible in darkness but giving it a limited ability to fool passive sensors.

Night Terror armor is also respectably durable, able to withstand most conventional weapons short of lightsabers and heavy machine guns. As a result, wearers can afford to be more aggressive in combat, where their firepower is further enhanced by the helmet's head-up display and weapons link ability.
