Developed by Dosuun Defense Solutions as a dedicated personal defense weapon, the Nexu fills that gap with a compact, high-volume close-range weapon that can be carried everywhere and brought to bear instantly.
In Commonwealth service, the Nexu is built around a through-grip magazine and a folding stock that collapse the weapon to a fraction of a rifle's footprint, allowing it to be holstered in a vehicle rack, stowed in a cockpit, or carried slung against the body without snagging. Its very high cyclic rate is a deliberate doctrinal choice: a defender reaching for a Nexu is almost always reacting to a sudden, close threat, and the weapon is tuned to win that exchange through immediate volume rather than measured marksmanship.
