The New Republic had to leave the deeper Core Worlds, for reasons they themselves could not fully understand.

After the events at Kuat, the Republic had been sent to recover elsewhere, Confederate Propaganda and fear of Imperial aggression made it hard for the Republic to be certain that the worlds they had promised to protect would remain safe, and so again they were given a cold shoulder and worlds withdrew from the Republic. But, just as with the outer rim, the Republic and those who stood beside it would not be so easily turned from their home. But all was not lost, as the Republic's military leaders remained with the cause and the Rebels who had served under the Rebellion long ago would find a new home.

[member="Noah Corek"], leader of the Republic's army, with Mannu Fati, Chancellor of the Republic and a former Admiral of the Galactic Alliance would bring the Republic to yet another world who had fostered the two long ago, each in their own time. Noah was once a member of a long dead government, one that had ruled from Fondor and now he would be returning home, ready to fight off the Ssi-Ruuk and help his people, to stand in the streets and remind them of the days of the Protectorate.

But, just as the blade must be wielded, there is other necessary actions that must be taken.

There are those who are saved from the camps and protected and injured, buried deep in Fondor's streets and in the skies above, the shipyards remain dormant, needing to be reignited and their foundries releasing the great works that the shipyards once produced. They had not been damaged, not in the same severity as other orbital rings such as Corellia's or Kuat's, the planet having seen relative peace compared to its rivals. But now, the three worlds each had their own issues.

Fondor's was those lizards, the Ssi-ruuk.

And the Republic was here to deal with those issues in the ways it knew how. To defend the people of fondor, strike down the reptile invaders, set up the government once more, and to get Fondor's shipyards reignited. An old flame burned on the planet, one that members of the Republic could feed and grow into the jewel of the Inner Rim that the planet had been before, and will be again.

Objectives:

Objective 1: Take out the Ssi-Ruuk Garrison/invasion force in central Fondor City, the Capital of the planet.

Objective 2: Meet with Fondor Representatives, and diplomats from Nearby Systems to Reinstate the New Republic on Fondor.

Objective 3: Restart the Planet's shipyards and care for the people. Help them rebuild in any way you can think of.

"Senator did you want to go over the report on Fondor and representatives that you'll be meeting with, as you know these negations are important and could play a major part in the relations between the planet and the New Republic."

Lux spared the man a glance before he went back to the book he had been reading. There are few things in life he hated more than when people thought that he didn't know what he was doing or worse was incompetent, he didn't get to the Senate by being lazy or stupid. He had used a wider array of tricks and political gamesmanship to get to where he was today and he had no intention of letting some overzealous staffer speak to him as if he was a child.

"I am well aware of the situation on Fondor and I assure you that I am well prepared for talks with the representatives I did not get to where I am today by being unprepared or ignorant. Every thing that I do is carefully planned and well thought out I do not leave anything to chance nor am I ever a victim of circumstances. But if you want to be helpful you can tell the captain that he can open the doors I'm ready to meet our new friends"

They been sitting on the landing pad for half an hour and he was well aware that he had kept the natives waiting but before in successful negotiation could ever begin both sides needed to know who was the more senior, and while he was younger than most he was a very formidable force and he would be treated as such. The outfit he wore was traditional sarapin dress for formal occasions, and this definitely qualified as one.
